Such fantastic opening scene in the snow. After the weather we have had over the past 3 months you cannot not go out on such a great day. The images from the hills are amazing. The northern fells maybe less spectacular than the others but the lack of popularity means you are on your own, well apart from the summit of Blencathra and Skiddaw!. Thanks for the video - look forward to the next one.

Cold fresh wintery walks in the wild are the best kind of walks. There has been a spectral ghostly roman soldier that has been seen & photographed near where I live. Not sure to the back story of the mysterious soilder but it is known to appear in the beer garden of a local pub that existed until a few years ago. Beautiful video of the fells. 👍☺️❄️☀️

It's funny you mentioned Arthur's Seat, your video reminded me of doing a 5K that's run ,or used to be, round Holyrood Park up to Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh. Every time I've done it, it's been a similar cold but incredibly clear day like you had and the views make up for the cold.

Thanks James, it's mainly just my phone which is a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. A couple shots were with the Osmo Action 4 but the settings weren't right so there was no stabilisation, which meant 99% of the footage was completely unusable. But if you get the settings right, it works well 😄 I also have a DJI mini 2 drone but the app wouldn't open (ongoing compatibility issue with Android it seems).
Are you in new house from last year ? Always enjoyed your prior vlogs and this one no exception beautifully filmed as always❤ What not to like about scatty Cocker Spaniels especially in the snow😅

Yes the summit of Blencathra was pretty busy but the other four were virtually devoid of other people.
