- We show the best restaurants for families in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg in Tennessee. We are from Orlando, Florida and this is our first time visiting Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. We definitely want to go back and try more places next visit. We really loved all the country food.

Thank you for being the only frizzle chicken cafe reviewer to actually focus the camera on the chicken plushies! I've been looking for that rainbow chicken plushie for over a year and a half now with no luck and I don't live in the area to go check myself. I was able to make out the brand on the tag which helped me find one online!!

We have been to all of the restaurants except for the Clifftop Restaurant. All good choices. I'm sure the kids enjoyed the animatronic chickens, what a great surprise for them. I like the apple fritters from Applewood Farmhouse and my husband loves the corn fritters from The Old Mill. We have seen the show at the Comedy Barn many times! The show is wonderful and great for the entire family. Everyone would love it. Another recommendation would be to go to Hatfield and McCoys. Your kids will love it as well as you! One of our favorites. Thanks for taking us along with you.

Everyone I love has eaten at the mill with me, since I moved here in 2015. My grandmother would not visit PF, unless my Grandfather would take her to the Old Mill. The Old Mill Cafe across the street has a totally different menu, baked breads and a chocolate pecan pie that is a top 3 pie I've ever had. You have to go there next time and go during day so you can document all the little shops in that area. I think Applewood had a hibiscus tea if I remember thats really bomb too.
So glad we got to go with you! We'll be back for sure :) I would love to explore more around that area. Definitely a lot to do.

The Black berry bread in the Apple barn bakery is the best bread you will ever eat, it's more like cake

In Tennessee?? The first one (Old Mill) was our favorite for the food but the Frizzle Chicken Farmhouse was also fun for the entertainment 😊
I've been wanting to go to either The Old Mill Restaurant or Local Goat for the longest. The Frizzle Chicken Cafe is too cute! Honestly, I would try all of these lol!

What's the ranch recipe?
1 cup of buttermilk, 1 cup of mayo and 2 ranch powder packets. Really good.
I wonder what course in FL would cost $50 because I don’t know what she’s talking about. I’ve lived here for 7 years and ain’t seen a fried chicken course for $50
I'm referring to the family style all you can eat dinners. At the Old Mill, you got so much food for $30. I haven't seen a place, around Orlando so cheap. We've eaten at a few family style restaurants and it's closer to $50 a person around the themeparks. That's our experience anyway.
I'd rate all these as the worst. No Alamo, Peddler, Cherokee Grill, Park Grill, Best Italian?
Well, we aren't local so we only had a limited time. But I went by reviews online and a friend who lives there. We'd love to go back and try other places too one day.
With all the corrupt politicians in P.F. I'll not be taking any more trips to P.F.
