I'm enjoying your videos so much!!!! I love plants, thanks for sharing all this tips and ideas with us :)
Your videos are super helpful. I am gardening impaired, but your videos are helping me to feel like I might actually be able to grown something this year & give out yard some color.
I am SO HAPPY that I found your channel! You provide the perfect mixture of professionalism, knowledge, AND a little quirkiness :) I could watch these videos all day... although, you are going to make me drain my bank account on plants lol... but, there ARE worse things ;) that's what I tell my fiance at least!
+maryjane's addiction Thank you so much!!! :) I could drain my bank account EASILY on plants, too! Haha!
OMG! IKR! All the same for me too:)
I love the simplicity. I've wondered just how much the Bloomerang Lilac would bloom? Thank-you for the info about the shrub. One of my favorites to use in containers is the Rainbow Sensation Weigela. I love how it contrasts and instantly adds a ray of sunshine to any container! We ordered a bunch of gallon size ones so we could have a little fun at the nursery this spring.
Great tips - gorgeous lilac!

Very pretty lilac! Thanks for sharing love your channel.
Lovely!!. Thanks for sharing!.
Lilac bushes have such a wonderful fragrance, I've had one on my patio for four years and I just love it.
How long to change a bigger pot?
Can you leave it out in the winter?
@@lisagarrett4973 when my lilac bush was in a pot I did move it under my carport along with others , it was fine . I do have it in the ground now I’ve had it in the same large pot for five years , it’s still doing good.
@@laulillian5067 I started out with a gallon pot than changed it into a larger pot right away and it stayed in that pot for five years .
What does it smell like.
Love lilac!😍🌱💜🌱
I bought a syringa palibin lilac this year. I read its a Korean Bush and its rear, prefers alkaline soil well drain. Love your show n tips 💚
Nice work. keep it like this.
I have had no success with shrubs in containers. I do live in PX, AZ and watering does seem to be the problem. I do not water ever single day, I usually do every 2 or 3 days. I really agree with the non tunnel vision and the cost saved is also a plus. Enjoy your videos.
adorei o resultado
You make gardening fun and exciting! You are a wealth of knowledge and I appreciate you sharing it’d reel you. I live in zone 9 California. What shrubs should I use with fill sun
I love your channel because you are very detailed with your explanation. I do have some Shasta daisies, Daylilies, Carnations and Obedient - can I plant them in large pots instead of putting them in the ground? These are divisions so want to be sure I don't kill them! Thank you for your help!
In my country we don't have this plant. Looks gorgeous
All the time working very interesting
Hi Laura! Thanks so much for posting this video. If I put them permanently in a container, should I overwinter them the same as my panicle and smooth hydrangeas (both dwarf varieties) where I put mulch, dried leaves and cover them with burlap?
Would really appreciate your advise! Thank you!
Can't wait to see all the new things you do with your garden at your new place. :)

Hi so video on WHAT to start with when beginning gardening. And some more maintain videos. Please please please !
I would like to know what you put in the bottom of the very large containers to help with drainage and offset having to put so much potting soil -sticks stones or a combination of both? that would be helpful information
Thanks
Just received my "Proud Berry/Coral Berry shrub" from Proven Winners. Can it can be planted in a container long term?
Hi! Do you have a calendar where you keep all the plants and when to water them?
do you have any tips for trying spirea in a container on my sunny apt patio? what do you do with it in the winter? thanks!
Can I sustain a lilac shrub in a 40L container in my apartment? I live in the city but I love lilac so much. My apartment has a lot of light. I just dont want to kill it if it wont live in that size long term.
Will lilacs do well with organic potting mix? I read that they don't do well in acidic soil and need a ph around 7.
I press like before I see the video 😍
Lol same here
this got me thinking.... I wonder if boxwoods would enjoy my hanging baskets for the summer and be ok being planted in the fall?
I'd like to grow Mock Orange Philadelphus x virginalis shrub in container what size of pot and potting soil would you recommend?
What are those plants called next to you the ones with the lime colour heads??
If you were to plant and leave shrub in a pot that size, won't it just stop growing at a point where the roots have no more room, but be happy at that size? I'm trying my hand at planting a silver birch sapling in a fairly large pot and I'm hoping to end up with a small tree
+Robin Lewis You are right that plants will stay somewhat relative to the size of pot they are kept in, but something that wants to grow bigger won't be happy for too long like that. Some plants like to be root bound, and others need more room for root growth to flourish. It's all an experiment, I learn something new every time I try something different in my containers! I love silver birch!
Does that container have drainage? Would u recommend pots with drainage for shrubs or small trees?
+Elize Arnedo-Volante Yep, this container has drainage, and I recommend alway having drainage if at all possible!
Can shrubs be kept indoors in containers?
my sugar glider loves these flowers(he eats/licks the nectar out) but sadly mine did not come back this year(it got killed by groundhogs)
+jai mac Bummer!
🌳😍
How do you plant a very tall pot?
You didn’t suggest small size varieties or zones??? Wintering over etc- more to it.
Are Bloomerang and Josee lilac the same?
This was already pre-potted in a container. How about explaining how to pot a bare root plant for us.
What was the name of the plant you have around the edge of the pot?
i would love to see a succulent tour :-)
I am in a zone 3a/3b. What kind of shrubs could i plant in a pot and keep in a pot? Any help would be appreciated!
P.s. ive become addicted to your channel!
Have you found one that didn't die during the Winter?
You work at a Garden Center & don't get first crack at new inventory? that just seems wrong, imo. I thought that would be one of the "Perks"Adore your channel btw!
can you make a video about Hibiscus?
+richie alvino Sure! I just got a few, so we'll get to it pretty soon!
I’m actually going to plant the exact made shrub into a container. Was thinking to put plastic bottles at the bottom. Is that a good idea?
Zi just bought a trailing petunia and I just can't seem to keep it from drying up o matter how much water. I do live in Arizona Southeasternn outside of Tucson in a small town called Sierra Vista zone 8b 4800 fewer elevation.. It is under the Eve's of my courtyard and only receives morning sun. Any advice to keep it green and blooming?

A lot of talk; not much instruction. Do you put an gravel or rocks in the bottom of the pot? How do you loosen the root ball? How deep do you plant it, etc.?
It was not shown how to fill the pot and how to fill the pot with soil after putting the plants in the pot.
Talking too fast.
