I honestly don't understand the Akiko hate (not just from you guys but from the whole fandom). Sure she was annoying in the first few episodes but as the show went on she became a bigger part of the 'family' and showed dedication to her job like her father would. Maybe its just because I didn't know anything about the show going on so no one 'warned me' about her so I didn't already expect to hate her, or maybe its because W is still one of my favorites. But to be fair it is your opinion and you are entitled to it, keep up the great work guys can't wait to see more videos!
I personally don't like Akiko it's because she don't have likable traits, she's more like a kid than an adult. I thought when she knew about how her father died would changed her, but nope, she stayed pretty much the same in the show.
Crab Stomp Actually, it kind of did as soon as we got to Movie War CORE. Remember why she had an issue about why everyone she know is a Kamen Rider in the movie?! It's because her father was also a rider this who,e and she didn't even knew about it until Movie War 2010. But, now Sokichi is dead and he made a promise to her that on the day of her wedding, he would walk her down the aisle, herself. But, sadly, he had that Spider Bomb inside of him and if he gets close to Akiko, she dies. So, in way, Akiko was dealing with a despair, lonliness and sadness about her father's death in Movie War CORE. It's just that you had to put up with all that other nonsense of Akiko behaving like a child throughout tne show, until W's portion of Movie War CORE. Also, Akiko did actually learned from her own mistakes and incompetence in the show. It's just her own way of growing more as a character, than her being all mopey and angsty and bruty about her father's death if that what's you want in her character.
She had a couple of good moments. In that Sweets Dopant episode, she tries her best to be a detective (a bad one) like her father. She seems to be jealous at Shotato for being like her father and knowing him personally since she barely knows her father. And though she had some dumbest moments on being a detective, she still never gave up. And there was a moment where she stood up for her client like Shouichi. That is one of my favorite Akiko moments.
8:07 Spoiler: Yes she did became love interest of Wizard and they both get married at the end. Source. kamen rider wizard novel, which was the continuation of the series.
Yeah, I don't think Akiko is quite so bad. She's useless, sure, but she's hilarious and a great foil for Shoutarou. She's not nearly as cute as she thinks she is, but that's part of her humor!
I'm chuckling to myself about how this video came into existence. Because Poppy's no longer a useless character, but was very important and a RIDER. So this is very funny to me
I have to disagree with you guys about Akiko's character. I mean, sure she was annoying in the first few episodes, but she actually grew as a character later on and was dedicated to her job as the new chief of the Narumi detective agency, because that's the kind of person her father would want her to be.
How did you guys not mention Shizuka in Kiva. She is the most irrelevant character in that show. She starts off as Wataru's babysitter but once he grows a pair and stops being a meek little baby, she completely disappears from the show. And that whole storyline about her trying to breakup Wataru and Mio's relationship came out of nowhere, and it felt like they were trying to shoehorn another pointless love triangle into the show. The worst part about her as a character is the fact that we never really find out who she even is,as far as we know she's just some chick that takes care of Wataru for some reason.
Dragon XZero Basically In the first 11 to 14 episodes of Kiva there was this "character" who's sole purpose in the show was to babysit Wataru. When the focus of the story started to shift and Wataru started to get more development, Shizuka (the forgettable character in question)completely disappeared from the show. She only made two appearances after this point; one appearance during the Mio introductory arc ( where she is shown having a crush on Wataru that's never mentioned ever again) and a brief cameo in the finale. My reasoning for hating this "character" is due to her pointlessness in the story, and much the writers tried to make her the main heroine of show.Even though all the other women in the show were better suited for that role.
had not realised until now that both wizard and ghost have the whole no idea to do what to do with their secondary riders. I found akiko and Onari were good for a laugh if nothing else, I get why people would dislike them though
Basically every characters in Ghost even the villains except Akari in Ghost is useless. Ever since watching Ghost i'm confused why Toei didn't just make her the Kamen Rider. She basically is the main character and everyone is the side character.
All little kids in Rider movies! They just seem to only serve as plot devises! Like in Showa vs Heisei, Taisen 3 GP, and that stupid Wizard movie where a kid summons past Riders Stop making kids in your movies! We want to see Riders kicking ass!
please don't day spoilers for the end of a show and then immediately say the spoiler without any kind of pause so the ones who haven't seen every show can stop watching
Despite having her Philosopher's Stone stolen, Koyomi still returned as a spirit to Haruto and turns into the Hope Wizard Ring to defeat Gremlin, effectivly killing him for good. Koyomi helped Haruto defeat the final villain. *YOU KNOW, JUST LIKE A USELESS CHARACTER*
"There we're no useless characters (in OOO)" If Chiyoko isn't useless, I'm assuming because she's relevant to the story, then by that logic Koyomi isn't useless since she's SUPER important to the story.
My only problem with the Fourze side characters is that there are too many of them. Each one gets two episodes to deal with their issues. It takes time away from developing the story.

Glad to know she has at least one fan. Thanks for sharing your opinion and supporting us!

That explains a lot.

Akiko Rant 3:56 "The Brown spot on the rest of the Banana" f*cking CLASSIC
i agree that Shumpei is the worst character in Wizard
At least Rinko tried to help by doing some detective work
Koyomi's actress was a member of PASSPO☆ and not of AKB48, but yea, Idol activities restricted her from showing up all the time.
I think Akiko gets a lot of hate, she doesn't deserve that lot of hate.
some of the characters of that show would still be ranting today if she didn’t have a shoe to hit them with

Had a valid point tho

Comedy in Neo-Heisei series! No sure if that's a rant or what

Ian Smith OMG yess!
Who? I legit don't remember who are you talking about

BECAUSE they are useless AND annoying as hell
Onari in Ghost, Hiiro Kagami's Father in Ex-Aid, they're the best annoying characters
Basically every characters in Ghost even the villains except Akari in Ghost is useless. Ever since watching Ghost i'm confused why Toei didn't just make her the Kamen Rider. She basically is the main character and everyone is the side character.
Useless character Rant is a LONG TIME comin'

Stop making kids in your movies! We want to see Riders kicking ass!
Remember kid from Ghost/Ex-Aid movie? Yeah...
Yes I'm not the only one who thinks that Shunpei is the worst Kamen rider side Character.
The detective in Kuuga is Ichijou, although there are several who know Godai personally.
please don't day spoilers for the end of a show and then immediately say the spoiler without any kind of pause so the ones who haven't seen every show can stop watching
Sorry about that Ryan. We'll work on censoring ourselves in future videos.
Can we have a whole episode of this dedicated to Justin from Turbo?
Poppy's character got better as the series proceeds though.
Could you guys do a Useful Characters rant next? still trying to figure out how same of them are good. (besides OOO)
But didn't she become evil
*watches new Exaid episodes* Asuna isn't so pointless anymore, huh?
Sasori Orange Oh she's awesome. That scene where Kiriya, Emu, and Asuna walking side by side facing Masamune is just awesome
Now HAIMA on the other hand........why are you even here?
horaciosi ...who?
Hiro's father. Not surprising you don't remember him. He didn't do jack shit.
@@horaciosi He almost died by playing the game, but still he was pointless.
Akiko is a cool girl man
akiko is so cute though :(
Star buster v3 cute doesn't necessitate a character though.
No
"There we're no useless characters (in OOO)" If Chiyoko isn't useless, I'm assuming because she's relevant to the story, then by that logic Koyomi isn't useless since she's SUPER important to the story.
I wonder how a remake of Ghost could turn out...
Dragon XZero I think it would make a decent movie remake in my opinion. Not sure if it would work for a possible U.S. adaptation.
Kotaro Shirai in Blade is the most useless I've seen so far.
Koyomi is the cutest thing ever in the universe
At least she's relevant to the story
I'm sorry, you misspelled Ahim.
My only problem with the Fourze side characters is that there are too many of them. Each one gets two episodes to deal with their issues. It takes time away from developing the story.
Skyrogue19 the fourze side characters should Turn into others kamen rider (or form of fourze )
@@mrgeek2642 they did, but it was on the Fourze stage show.
Ex aid is pretty cool
#1: Mika from Kuuga
akiko is awesome
"There we're no useless characters (in OOO)" Name me one useful thing Hina did throught the series!
Hina served as a moral compass of sorts for Ahnk
Yawn
Onari from Ghost, Shunpei from Wizard, Koutarou from Blade, Hiyori from Kabuto, Akiko from W and Aria from Ghost.... *USELESS!!!*
I find Hiyori from Kabuto very annoying and mostly useless.
