I believe the lady is right …”once you collect vintage you don’t go back.” Lately I’ve been finding baskets at yard sales and filling them with dirt and flowers for my garden. Love the look! Loved seeing the vintage cameos. My great grandmother always wore a cameo ring. I was supposed to get that ring when she passed but it was missing from her room at the home where she passed. Someone got a treasure.
So right...once you go Vintage, you don't go back. My kitchen/dining area is Vintage/primitive/antique. No signs except old Advertising. I love it! It definitely has feels like Cracker Barrel in there. Welcoming, I guess you'd say. I have enough, but Sometimes...I have to make room for 1 more thing. It's good for me and my family, in the end, that's all that matters. I love your bathroom shelf.

I went thrift store & found a pitcher which i love & bought it also found 1 pretty aqua plate with flowers from Johnson brothers if i would have found 2 i would have brought them home. Suggestion: A short video of the yard sale or of what you are selling. Good luck tomarrow!

Good morning sweet friend 😊 I love the chippy goodness of your cabinet it turned out great but of course it’ll change 😂 having yrd sales is a lot of work I hope y’all sale everything & meet some good ppl 😊 we’re going to some yrd sales this morning & to a few antique stores I’m on the hunt for a step bk primitive cabinet we’ve out grown the cabinet I’ve got now it’s full of sm aunt Jamamas I just love them I’ve got 2 large ones & 2 bust it has old wooden spoons & a chicken that was my mommas honey I’ve got chickens & roasters all over my house 😂 anyway hope y’all have a Blessed wk end 😊
Tonya your puppies are really growing and adorable. Your cabinet looks wonderful. You styled it beautifully. I hope you got rid of everything at the yardsale. I’m thinking the same way. I have so much non vintage things that I’m just not using anymore since we have been gung-ho on pulling out and using our collections and getting more vintage at yard sales. I also have some vintage that I’m not using too. I’ve always done an invitation only sale with mostly vintage but I’m thinking this time I may have to break down and do a regular yard sale. You will have to check out the history behind a concealment shoe.....that might explain why there is only one. Back in the day ----like way back----people would put one shoe in the wall when building a house for good luck....the story is way more detailed than that, but that gives you a hint. Anyway....that could have been a concealment shoe rescued OR the reason why one shoe alone could be because the other one was put in the wall. It's very interesting history.
You did a great job on your hutch it looks lovely! And your pups ♥♥ adorable but pay attention to their rock interest. Believe it or not, It's not uncommon for dogs to eat rocks. My neighbours small dog use to eat rocks and had to have emergency surgery. Good luck at your garage sale!
