Excellent video, covered all the gaps that others have in theirs. I could not find how to accurately measure the belt but you covered every aspect of it and went on with installation. Great job !
Hi awesome video, my craftsman garage opener 41a5303-50 is around 13 years old and the belt is about to blow up, but I can find the belt replacement for my model, any ideas? Thanks for any help.
@@DrShock nope, I did bought it in 2005 at my Sears store, they did install it!, I am going to follow you method of measurement and buy it, if doesn't fit I will return it
There should be a label on the unit, typically behind one of the white bulb covers. The model number should be on there, typically a XXX.YYYYY type format. Easy enough to get the right belt with that model number and not have the return hassle.

That doesn't look like a typical Sears part number, is that what's on your owners manual cover page?
