This is my compilation of every perfect in Rhythm Tengoku.
I highly recommend listening with headphones to enjoy the awesome bass line this songs have!
I should state that this is not the official Rhythm Tengoku release, but an unofficial translation released in 2012 under the name "Rhythm Heaven Silver". The gameplay is exactly the same as its Japanese counterpart.
Also, it was played on emulator, since I don't own a GBA nor a capture card for my ds.
In the Rhythm Heaven series, a perfect consists of not missing any inputs in a game, either by mis-timing it badly enough or missing it outright. Some games are quite lenient, while others require near perfection! Doing so will result in the heart on the upper right corner disappearing, playing a somewhat jarring fail sound. Also, you don't get to choose which perfect to play: Once you have enough medals, you'll sometimes be given 3 attempts to perfect a random level. If you fail all 3 attempts, you'll have to wait until the game randomly chooses another level for you.
This video exists for a few reasons.
After streaming the whole game in one go, I decided to have a look to see if anyone had uploaded an "All Perfects" video already, mostly because I intended to do it myself. Not only could I not find a single video like this one for the translated version, the only complete playthrough I could find was a somewhat laggy stream reupload.
So yeah, I decided to die inside a little and record EVERY SINGLE PERFECT on this game.
Also, since I've just "retired" from Geometry Dash, I was missing the whole "rhythm game" thing maybe a little too much. I ended up enjoying it quite a bit, and I didn't find it difficult at all. In my opinion, anyone could get all perfects on this game with some practice. Why don't you give it a try?

toss boys being one of the last ones you got makes so much sense, its such a tough looking mini game but you make it look effortless
It's not too hard, but what made it very annoying is that I was playing with an xbox controller, in which the A and B buttons are flipped. Yeah…
So you mean to tell me that BON DANCE was your FIRST PERFECT. I admit that it isnt as hard as people make it out to be sometimes but jesus.

For me, it wasn't my first superb/perfect, but I did in fact beat it no-miss on the first try wich to what i've seen is very impressive i guess

49:58 People say Tap Troupe is memorisation, but thankfully, we now that the third tap is actually always used on the next available beat, not purposely delayed for difficulty.

Hey Tysm for making this! Most Tengoku minigame videos look blurry and the perfect compilation videos don't flow good between minigame transitions But, this one hits it out of the park with everything! Will you do the same for Rhythm heaven Ds?

Even though I'm still a noob when it comes to editing, my channel's main focus is quality (because it's certainly not quantity), and my intent with this video in particular was to improve on what's already out there.
And to answer your question: Definitely! But I don't know when.
At first I wanted to do it on an emulator, but some levels (like ninja dog, rhythm rally, and remix 8) are nigh impossible that way. I'm currently trying to track down a relatively cheap second hand new 3ds (for maximum quality).

I wish Nintendo released this in the states as a last hurrah for the GBA here. Then again, the same can be said for Mother 3. But this game wouldn't have taken much effort at all to localize, especially since the Karate Man song is already in English. Fun fact: The font in this game is the same as the DS system UI's.

Wow, GBA Rat Race really was a mess. It’s truly amazing just how different it used to be without its audio cues. That said, I would prefer the lights not being in Megamix, but there really needed to be a cue for the cat in that original version. Probably one of the biggest gameplay glow-ups in the series from Megamix.
Also we really needed the Bon Odori in Megamix if only to add in an actual indicator for when you mess up. Would’ve taken that any day over Quiz coming back as anything other than an Endless Game.
theres the audio queue when you tap too late/early, also the girls look at u weird after when u mess up

I love this game, but I'm not too good at this series, and I was hoping someone uploaded an HQ no-nonsense all-Perfect compilation that I could use in UA-cam Poops as a source. (I'll credit you for the gameplay if/when I do, by the way)

Oh! This is a fan translation named Rhythm Heaven Silver, sometimes referred to as Rhythm Heaven (English Patched). You can find a rom to download pretty easily :)
@@A425s Awesome! ;) In my very honest opinion, if they were sell this game where you can buy it normally with updated graphics or not, I’d rather just have it all completely subbed because that’s just obviously so much easier! ;) Dubbing is a very arduous thing to do! I mean, I’ve been watching a French dude do play some play throughs of Rhythm Paradise 3 for the Wii and Mega Mix for the 3DS. (Yes, we Europeans call it “Rhythm Paradise” instead of “Rhythm Heaven” still the same difference!) Anyway! Guess what? Only the writing in the game was subbed and yes! For Rhythm Paradise 2 for the DS, they have the game completely dubbed for all 6 languages it has to offer. Even the songs! But for the Wii and 3DS no! :/
You know what I’m saying right?
It’ll be a very tedious nightmare for them to come up with brand new lyrics for The Donpanpan’s Bon Ordori song, cues for the Toss Boys and fireworks and all the other songs you can hear in the game!
Which probably explains why they weren’t included in Mega Mix’s extra games you could buy.

I mean, plenty of modern games for kids are only subbed all the time with a made up gibberish language I.E Mario’s games! And Everybody liked the gibberish dialog from Rayman 2 so much better until they gave it proper voice acting for the PS1! 😝
Yeah, subbing is a far easer alternative for the the developers, and I think that's as far as RH Silver is gonna get, mostly because if they wanted to dub it (which I think they said they won't) they would have to hire voice actors and such.
And even with that, subbing is easier said than done.
Also, I would know about the Rhythm Paradise thing, I'm also european XD.
I kinda prefer subbing in general because I get to learn the original language, and I'm a bit more used to it (not many shows are dubbed in my language, mostly children's cartoons). But for a game, I have to agree, dubbing is better.

I guess polyrhythm would be more accurate in the gba rhythm heaven, but ig most of us are used to call it built to scale, so it sounds better to us.

I played rhythm heaven silver, which, as far as I'm aware, was the only one available at the time.
I don't have a preferred emulator, I've always used mGBA since it's the first one I used, and it works fine.

I played this on no$gba emulator and didn't sync perfectly (just the rom file though)
It's apparently quite hard to precisely emulate audio, and as such, most emulators have slight desync issues. You usually don't notice because most games don't rely on a 2 minute audio being synced up to the exact frame.
And that's the reason I still haven't done any videos on megamix! Citra has a mode to accurately emulate audio, but it's somehow too much for an i7-10th gen and a 2070s.
