One that I recommend if you play party gamss with friends is these solo joycon controller grips. They make it a lot more comfortable to hold, and the top buttons way way easier to press
@@Yonan_ua-cam.com/video/R7O376e9SxA/v-deo.htmlsi=pj4zbDlKjYOl86hu I'm pretty sure he means these. I heavily recommend the ones from the company QWare
I also have the split pad pro, and I highly recommend it if you can live without those features. No drift. Also much bigger and more comfortable to hold than the default joy cons.
I got myself a pair when they came out. I don't like how cheap and light they are, but in terms of simple comfort, they're good for big hands. I really like the back buttons.
I love these and they have not left my Switch since I bought them. Joy cons are far too small and uncomfortable for me to use where as the Hori pad is perfect for my hands. I don’t miss the rumble or gyro or any of that haha
I use them always when playing handheld since both of my joycons have terrible drift, and I’ve never found any of the drawbacks mentioned to be too bad.
After almost 2 years of gaming on my oled in handheld REALLY rarely on DockMode, ive never used the gyro... if you play handheld, this attachment is d bomb, big, stiff, and light. D pad, plus back buttons... its just perfect
I think this is great, i borrowed one from my friend, but my main issue is the lack of gyro. It helps makes games feel more organic such as splatoon and totk currently. Its not a big fuss for totk but if you really value that organic feeling that gyro gets, prolly get another accessory like the nyxi joy cons
A friend recommended the split pad pros to me as he'd had good experiences with them! Bought a pair, started drifting within about 6 months. Bought ANOTHER pair, same situation. Ended up just taking the working one of each set and using those together and they've worked fine since
Saw a sky blue pair of these at Walmart for $30. The other colors were the full price. Bought two of them and they are the best accessory I’ve bought so far as a portable user.
Yeah I definitely recommend these and I haven’t gone back to the original “driftcons” since..yeah it’s got a few disadvantages but these are way better for gaming
my biggest recommendation is the satisfye zengrip pro (i’m sure many people have already said this) but you get get everything that joycons have since it’s just an attachment and it’s not at all cheap feeling
I recently got these and I couldn’t recommend them more, the fact that they can be used as joycons and as a pro controller more than makes up for the lack of rumble, gyro and nfc. Also they have a headphone slot, I’ve never seen another switch controller with one
What’s funny is, at my Walmart, they removed the section that had the games and game consoles has now been replaced by books. The case like that one is still there, but it says “Books” and is just filled with books. “You can read about the gameplay of that new game you wanted”
I used this and they were great. I would've bought binbox joycons but they weren't sold at my stores but instead were sold online which I couldn't buy at the time.
i have these and as somebody with GIANT hands it feels a lot better in handheld mode and I use them all the time. if you have big hands these are awesome!
the buttons and sticks themselves feel fine. how they attach to the console can feel quite flimsy at times and the horizontal length feels a bit excessive. not to mention that the controllers themselves are much thicker than the console, giving them a very large "lip" above and below them.
Its all personal preference but I honestly just prefer the joycons to everything else. They break way faster yeah, but personally I love how they feel being tiny clicky things. I also have large hands so I understand the issues these controllers can have for some people but I just love them, they speak to me.
Honestly, the split pad pro is better than the stock joy cons but there’s so many better groups out there that feel so much better in the hand. I got the split pet pros thinking they were going to feel like an actual controller but the back is too flat. It’s not round it like a actual controller now the buttons themselves feel great, but I was expecting the grip to be more like a actual controller
I've got the nyxi hyperions they feel really nice to hold, I did also go for the transparent version so I can see the motherboard looks quite nice and also has rbg you can switch around to different styles
have this and love it. I play my switch exclusively in handheld and don't really play games that take advantage of the joycons unique features (I play mostly the older final fantasy titles and occasionally kirby) these are 100% more comfortable than the normal joycons though
Satisfye Zengrip Pro is by far the best so far and they sell a case that the switch fits in with the attachment on and the case also has room for a power bank.
I picked them up at a flea market for 10 euros and I had to fix it using glue and by re-connecting some cables, but they’re fine. Well worth over the 10 euros I spent.
I use them all the time. My hands would cramp up on the joycons so I tried the Satisfye Zen Grip but had to remove it every time I wanted to dock my Switch. The Split pro feels great and would recommend them to anyone playing more then an hour in handheld.
Splitpad is the worst choice. Nyxi and nexigo are two companies which do the same controller with better quality and Bluetooth connection. For the same price.
I personally think that you can actually improve your experience by getting the Satisfye grip It allows you to use the official Nintendo joycons, not sacrificing any features, and comes with more stuff than the split pad does
Yeah I have an off brand of those and it’s a blessing cause I have adult sized hands and need an adult sized controller. A lot of pain went away when I got actually intelligently designed controllers! PLUS NO STICK DRIFT
No Vibration and no Amiibo was a dealbreaker for me, but I’ve used someone else’s and they’re GOOD, absolutely would recommend if you’re fine with the missing features
i recommend getting the nyxi/binbok joycons they have rumble and no annoying gap there is gyro
They actually have a battery. So you can use them away from the console
Bro the binbok ones suck they break in a month
They’ll get drift very fast I’ve had them would not recommend, unless they fix the drift problem
@@SGTVLee i got them and they didnt break after 1 month
@@BiggoSeal i fix the drift by just restarting
I've had those for years, but I just got the hori compact version. Feels so much better, and looks much cooler with the white and yellow
I added weights into mine which made them feel so much better. I wanna add some other touches too like removing the rubber buttons cause they suck
I have the gengar compacts
One that I recommend if you play party gamss with friends is these solo joycon controller grips. They make it a lot more comfortable to hold, and the top buttons way way easier to press
can you link what you’re talking about?
@@Yonan_ua-cam.com/video/R7O376e9SxA/v-deo.htmlsi=pj4zbDlKjYOl86hu
I'm pretty sure he means these. I heavily recommend the ones from the company QWare
I have the split pad compact and its incredible
The compacts truly feel like what the actual switch should be i love them
@@chikensaregood9500 On paper they look uncomfortable, but they are so good.
I have this grip that goes around the back so youre still using the joycons but it feels better i wouldnt mind the soft click buttons though
I ordered some a while ago and they are definitely very comfortable while being cheap.
personally I would get the statisfye grip
No back buttons on asatifye
@@tboneplisken4086ok and
I’m addicted to gyro I can’t live without it
I pre-ordered the Sonic split pad and I love it!
FINALLY SOMEONE USED THIS SONG
I love the grip. I wish they had rumble, but I don't need the other gimmicks.
I have these, and i love them! They don't drift at all!
I still have my split pads for over a year, and it's so comfortable for my hands!
Love them, having larger hands they make it so much more comfortable to play in handheld. Highly recommend, they dont kill your switch either.
I bought minds because I was tired of drip it's a really good solution and I feel great using it
I just bought those and they work so well and I love them. Especially for ToTK
Those are like the best for a comfortable handheld play session I like using them on my switch.
Bro’s glazing the regular joycons 💀
The turbo mode on these in splatoon is insane. Especially with the booyah bomb, any of the brushes and other weapons
And have no gyro in Splatoon? Seems like a harsh tradeoff
Yes these are fantastic! I didn’t care that much about the other no included things but it just feels so much better also a year later and no drift.
I got these as a gift for my birthday about 8 months ago and I have not used my joycons since then. Definetely a must have in my opinion
I have gotten these for last Christmas, they are really good for gameplay.
I have like a detachable plastic connector that goes on the back of joy cons that helps a lot
After almost 2 years of gaming on my oled in handheld REALLY rarely on DockMode, ive never used the gyro... if you play handheld, this attachment is d bomb, big, stiff, and light. D pad, plus back buttons... its just perfect
I love these I also have the Nyxi as well
I have some! They are quite nice and they're Pikachu and Lucario themed!
I’ve got the ones with the attachment to play them in tv and they’re really cool
A friend recommended the split pad pros to me as he'd had good experiences with them!
Bought a pair, started drifting within about 6 months. Bought ANOTHER pair, same situation. Ended up just taking the working one of each set and using those together and they've worked fine since
The binbok controller is amazing
I bought these around a year ago and I'm realy happy with these 😁
Saw a sky blue pair of these at Walmart for $30. The other colors were the full price. Bought two of them and they are the best accessory I’ve bought so far as a portable user.
Yo bro. I didn’t realize you’re from Canada. I didn’t notice until I saw the prices in the first clip
I have them and coming from someone with large hands these are actually pretty good
I gave these as a present to my cousin since he has a switch and i dont. He loved them!
I got the nexigo’s and love them.
Yeah I definitely recommend these and I haven’t gone back to the original “driftcons” since..yeah it’s got a few disadvantages but these are way better for gaming
As someone who doesn’t like controler vibration and gyro controls i see this as an absolute win
Fuck Gyro controls, all my homies hate gyro controls
They work well, and since it has an added turbo for some specific button presses that hurt my hands, I give it a 7/10
my biggest recommendation is the satisfye zengrip pro (i’m sure many people have already said this) but you get get everything that joycons have since it’s just an attachment and it’s not at all cheap feeling
why does bro annunciate it like “hand HELD” 😂😂😂
I have it and recommend when playing metal slug or contra because using the Turbo Button helps me with shooting
These are the best to grab If you don't care for certain features. So comfortable omg
I recently got these and I couldn’t recommend them more, the fact that they can be used as joycons and as a pro controller more than makes up for the lack of rumble, gyro and nfc. Also they have a headphone slot, I’ve never seen another switch controller with one
I love this joy cons so much .
I love the hori split pad pro, and hori split pad compact
The switch is already so embarrassingly large in handheld that I wouldn't even bother.
Huh? Switch is tiny compared to its competition
I like the nyxi wireless joy-pad
I loved them. Got the nyxi ones for the features that were missing
What’s funny is, at my Walmart, they removed the section that had the games and game consoles has now been replaced by books. The case like that one is still there, but it says “Books” and is just filled with books.
“You can read about the gameplay of that new game you wanted”
I love my hori split pad pro!
I love mine! I have large hands and these make it way more enjoyable to play in handheld mode
I actually ordered the pads recently and they came yesterday. They are really really awesome, just sadly very light, would like them heavier
I used this and they were great. I would've bought binbox joycons but they weren't sold at my stores but instead were sold online which I couldn't buy at the time.
I’ve been using hori for 4 years now I absolutely love them they’re so comfortable if I need any of said missing thing I just throw on my joycons
Bro was just like “I think it’s kinda good except, it sucks no rumble no buttons hell, not even a controller.”
What?
I have the hori split pads compact in a cool gengar pattern and the joycons feel great
Yeah totally agree about them feeling cheap mate I bought some charizard ones for my son and was like wow they feel cheap.
i have these and as somebody with GIANT hands it feels a lot better in handheld mode and I use them all the time. if you have big hands these are awesome!
They're not bad. They do what you need them to do
the buttons and sticks themselves feel fine. how they attach to the console can feel quite flimsy at times and the horizontal length feels a bit excessive. not to mention that the controllers themselves are much thicker than the console, giving them a very large "lip" above and below them.
I have them and I not regret it!
I own the Pac-Man ones and they feel really good!! I’ll recommend it but it hasn’t a good grip
I only use those in handheld. It also prevents battery drain
Its all personal preference but I honestly just prefer the joycons to everything else. They break way faster yeah, but personally I love how they feel being tiny clicky things. I also have large hands so I understand the issues these controllers can have for some people but I just love them, they speak to me.

gotta love those switch frame drops
They are amazing imo
I've got the nyxi hyperions they feel really nice to hold, I did also go for the transparent version so I can see the motherboard looks quite nice and also has rbg you can switch around to different styles
I have these and I have not gotten drift once so I guess that's a plus
I have them and they make a huge difference then the one you get for free
I love mine I now mostly play with the split pad or pro controller depending if I'm playing handheld or wireless plus no drift
I use them a lot, they’re good but there’s no case online that’s specifically made to hold a switch with them attached
have this and love it. I play my switch exclusively in handheld and don't really play games that take advantage of the joycons unique features (I play mostly the older final fantasy titles and occasionally kirby)
these are 100% more comfortable than the normal joycons though
I have these and my favorite thing about them is that when they start drifting you just pull em off put them back on and Bam! No more drift.
Satisfye Zengrip Pro is by far the best so far and they sell a case that the switch fits in with the attachment on and the case also has room for a power bank.
I picked them up at a flea market for 10 euros and I had to fix it using glue and by re-connecting some cables, but they’re fine. Well worth over the 10 euros I spent.
as someone who hates gyro and rumble these are amazing even if i have to switch to a joycon for amiibo
I have the blue ones it’s good ngl
I just got theE fud Christmas and have not stopped using them theu r so comfortable for me
I use them all the time.
@@deijigates4664 although I disagree, I respect your opinion.
I do have a Binbok transparent pro controller it has gyro and feels great
I’m not even gonna lie, sometimes I like the absence of rumble… the Power A wireless is actually my favorite controller.
With those things it makes the switch look like a steam deck
They are excellent
Totally worth it
With big hands these are very comfy
I bought red ones yesterday, then painted left one blue.
I personally think that you can actually improve your experience by getting the Satisfye grip
It allows you to use the official Nintendo joycons, not sacrificing any features, and comes with more stuff than the split pad does
I bought some (they come from the US) which cost me an arm and a leg in customs but was worth every penny though.
I have the red ones and chef kisses
I recommend checking the mobapad m6, they look exactly like the split pad pro but with gyro and rumble.
Yea I use them and they are super confortable
Yeah I have an off brand of those and it’s a blessing cause I have adult sized hands and need an adult sized controller. A lot of pain went away when I got actually intelligently designed controllers! PLUS NO STICK DRIFT

I have this one and the rubbers on the analoge sticks i needed to replace them already after a half year after playing every day for 4 hours straight😅
They’re good for when you’re on a plane
