Chris Sorreda was wondering the same. sitting so high up and so far from the steering wheel. Down low with the steering wheel closer is the way to go with cars like this. each to his own i guess.
the fisheye lense makes the image distorted at the edges of the screen. He's sitting rather relaxed but the lense distortion makes it look like he's much further away from the wheel than he actually is!
My thoughts exactly. The point of the steering wheel is to actually reach it

Why is he 2 continents away from the wheel?
Camera may have something to do with it, but early on only touches the top of the wheel with his finger tips. He is a terrible driver and not in control. Probably thinks it looks cool! or just pain stupid person who will loose his licence very soon.

It's a myth as far as I am concerned. Or perhaps it 's something related to old Alfas like Alfasud and 33, I honestly don't know. I've jumped into the Alfas with 145, moved on to 147, replaced it with GT, then bought Brera which I am currently daily driving. Each one of those I've been owning for several years with no serious problems whatsoever. Just usual stuff.
the sud and 33 were indeed dogshit in terms of reliability, anything after the 155 is fine though and will only have problems if you start thrashing it around and stop taking care of it. I personally have a 75, a GT junior, a 166 v6 and a spider s4 and have owned an old giulia and two 155s an they're all as good as their german counterparts or better.

statesidesupercars alfas have been fine for years. it's just the coverage and narrow mindedness of people that make it sound bad. before the 155 they weren't very reliable but they are as good as any other car now. we bought a 2005 alfa 156 sportwagon in 2007 and sold it in 2015. it only had a fuel sensor issue which was easily resolved. we own a 2007 a4 cabriolet and it has had many faults since we bought it in 2010. it's actually cars like audis and BMWs that are the unreliable ones but they go under the radar because of customer perception. they have many electrical faults

I need one of these in my life, and I'll fix the exhaust valve problem by sticking it in race and pulling the cable out in the exhaust to keep the valves open!!! Works on the F80 M3 so should do the trick on these Alfa's!!!

Omg I remember driving and seeing them film this video. Plus they where in an incredibly car and that makes it hard to forget. I used to prefer German cars but this Alfa is in another league and I genuinely think the "perfectly made" German cars are just dull and massively overrated! Seeing this car on the road seriously hits you. Mesmerising engineering ❤️ all about Alfa and Italy now!!

Sorry to see you don't know the name of this car. QV stands for Quadrifoglio Verde. An historic name for Alfa Romeo. However, the Guilia is named Quadrifoglio, without the Verde (green). so this is not a Giulia QV, it is the Giulia Quadrifoglio.
