I was very confused between 11 and 13 inch ones, and concerned about the 60Hz refresh rate. This review that shows a person actually properly using their ipad (opening apps, playing games) is more helpful than other specs reviews where they just flash their ipads from different angles or just scroll through apps on home screen.

Just bought this iPad because it was $50 off and I got a $100 Apple gift card back (Student discounts right now). Best thing is they don't even verify if you're a student or not if you order online. I'm going to pick it up at the store Saturday morning and I'm so excited. I'll be buying the Pencil Pro with that gift card. Hopefully this is a good upgrade from the iPad 9th gen

FINALLY, A COMMON SENSE REVIEW! The majority of the reviews I’ve read from other tech geeks nit pick about things I don’t care about or say get the larger size. I am an “average” iPad owner. I just upgraded to an 11 inch Air from an iPad 9th gen. I did it to get rid of the 9 before it depreciates any more. I wanted the M2 chip and 256 gb. storage so I could “future proof” myself from Apple’s confusing marketing shell game. I got $170.00 from Apple on trade-in and ended up with a $44.08 monthly payment on the Apple Card for twelve months. I am very happy with my decision. The Air 11 is faster, the dual speakers are enough for me, and it seems to weigh lighter in my hand. I hope this has been helpful!

@@angut9065 Yo don’t do it. Get an older pro, it’s a lot better. Trust me. You can get an 11 inch m2 pro at Best Buy for 610 and a 12.9 m2 pro for 810. It’s the m2 air but soo much better
Honestly, the air 5 still rocks, it’s a beast with 4k video, never had any issues, though i am not a big gamer, but this air 6 is for newcomers, not those who have the previous generation, unless it’s the 13 inch model, which is tempting, but probably too bulky to carry around and use on the go.
I couldn’t agree more. There is no need to upgrade if you’re someone already on the iPad Air 5th generation. The new M2 iPad Air’s only have a few slight changes such as a new chip with the M2, the camera now in landscape orientation, Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 6E.
@@VladGamingTechWorld M2 iPad Air Model I hope has the same longevity as the iPad 2 and iPad Air 2 did. For both those models, Ram was what helped them last as long as they did so I think the M1 and M2 with 8 gigs both will stand the test of time.
Nice review. I went with the M1 Air 256gb on sale for $529. Did not think the difference in the two chips would be that noticeable.

@@user_es1 I like it. I had a 2018 11” pro which I traded in for the CPU boost. Speakers are fine but the 60hz display took getting used to coming from a pro.

Ipad pro m1 and m2 better and faster then new air
I ended up upgrading from the 2017 10.5 inch pro model. I had that thing for seven years so I ended up going with 256 because I plan on keeping this iPad for that amount of time as well. I got a 3rd party pencil because I have no need for the pro pencil. Plus I just got one for my mini 6 and it was 120.00, I’m set. Excited to see how you use yours for future content.
I wish I went with the 256GB. I plan on going back to upgrade the storage.

i just bought the m2 13 inch , i needed a bigger size. but honestly yeah there is only minimal difference from the last generations , even the ipad air gen 4 is good asf

It depends on what you’re looking for. The s9 comes with a higher refresh rate of 120 with an amoled screen. As for the iPad Air it comes with a more powerful processor that will be supported for longer with security and os updates.

How good is this for watching stuff compared to the tab s9+?
Well the S9+ comes with an OLED screen which does look better than that of the one on the M2 iPad Air as that screen is LED, but the one on the M2 iPad Air does still look amazing.

Hey bro 👋, I too purchased the same model in starlight colour. I have a question for you. While playing music on the iPad, do you hear sound coming out of all the 4 speakers ? Or only 2 ? I noticed it's coming out of 2 only and I saw on UA-cam videos, people were saying , since it is a stereo speakers, only 2 will work. Can you check yours and confirm me please ?
Only 2 works in air
Unfortunately, according to Apple’s specs, there are only 2 speakers on the air. The iPad Pro on the other hand is the device with 4 working stereo speakers.
Hard time finding screen guard because most sellers r reselling the air 5th gen screen guard but camera placement being different won’t work. Will last year’s pro screen guard fit this?

There should not be four speakers in your M2 iPad Air. Only the Pros have four speakers.
I currently have iPad Pro 10.5” 2018 and planning on upgrade soon. Which one to buy, iPad Air M2 13” or iPad Pro M4 11”? Considering the price is similar and I still need to buy apple pencil as well. I am using it for media & note taking. For heavy use, I still have MBP M1 16 inch
Id buy the M2 13 inch and save the $200 dollars. The larger screen is great for note taking and for media consumption.

In my opinion, I believe the iPad Pro M2 especially if you’re getting the 12.9 as it comes with the mini-led screen as well as pro motion. What’s great is the fact that you can get that iPad Pro for cheaper now so it’s definitely worth the value.

It’s gonna be something like very high with max frame rates and yes even an iPhone 11 can play in 50 fps with this setting so this device is gonna run with 60 fps. Will update you when I get my iPad this Friday and yes I am a codm player

The iPad Air 6 will be better for performance, but the S9 Plus is a better buy as it comes with a higher refresh rate, better screen with OLED, S-PEN for free and its water resistant

I no longer have the mini but my girlfriend has one. I like both of them a lot. I prefer the iPad Air for its size, performance and just the bigger size for gaming and consuming content. But nothing beats the portability of the mini it’s honestly so easy to bring around anywhere

If you want the new pencil and the faster chip go for it otherwise you're losing Face ID, 120hz on the screen, and the quad speakers.

In my opinion, I would say the m2 iPad Pro as it comes with Pro Motion and if you’re going to get the 12.9 model then even better as that model comes with the Mini-LED screen
The M1 chip in my iPad is complete overkill for iPadOS let alone an M2 and higher. 😂

I bought the iPad Air m2 128gb, it's my first iPad, and I use it for taking notes, studying and for leisure activities. in conclusion I am VERY disappointed with the battery. Using ONLY UA-cam I consumed 53% of the battery in 2 hours and 43 minutes (I timed the time) which for me is unacceptable from a device like this. I'm already forced to leave the house with a power bank...
I am doing a long-term review of this iPad in a few weeks and this is one of my cons when it comes to this iPad so far. It is definitely disappointing to say the least.

There’s a lot of stuff you can do to prolong battery life, off the top off my head, disable location services, app background refresh, auto updates, push notifications, bluetooth, turn off live wallpapers, put screen timeout at 2 mins, and don’t use full screen brightness. If you’re watching videos non stop on full screen brightness with all those settings turned on, you will be lucky to get 5-6 hours.
Thanks for sharing the experience! I wanted to get it for this September but your comment makes me doubt the choice, what other tablet would you recommend me to get as I’m a student too and I’ll use it about 5-8h a day for taking notes and studying

The older m2 pro especially if it’s the 12.9 inch as it’ll have the same performance but it’ll have mini-led, pro motion and more.

For study online classes games Netflix
If your focus is on study and netflix then go with 11 inch pro model because it has oled ,120 hz and its easy to carry. If you are on budget constraints go with the air model. Games will pretty much same on both the devices. I had an m2 13 inch pro model which i cannot hold for too long mostly i watched netflix using the case which i used as stand. For games 13inch becomes a burden.

I find the 128gb base model to be good enough for my needs with the M2 iPad Air. You can’t go wrong with either but I rather the newest one as it will be provided more future updates as it’s brand new whereas the M1 Air has been out for some time.

I had a M1 iPad Pro which I sold a while back I still have the Magic Keyboard case and pencil I currently have a m3 pro MacBook. I’m missing my iPad but I’m debating getting the air m2 or pro m4 I’m leaning towards air since I have the Magic Keyboard case already. I mostly want it for media and some light work flow on the go. Thoughts ?

Hi, Thanks for the kind words. As for screen protector I decided to put on the paper like for the 10.9 inch iPad 10th generation on since it had the same cut out for the camera screen seeing as that iPad already had the landscape camera orientation.

I’ve just bought the Air 6, coming from an Air 5. I wouldn’t have bothered upgrading but I’ve almost filled the 64gb storage so need more! Gone with the purple M2 11” Air. Don’t need the bigger size for what I use my iPad for.

@@VladGamingTechWorld my iPad Air 2 this was my biggest problem. So when I finally upgraded to the new M2 iPad Air I went with 256 gig of storage. Honestly I half think I should have gone with 512. If you plan to run your device to the ground you can never have enough storage and file sizes are only getting larger and larger.
Can I ask what screen protector are you using, it looks like Paperlike but I know at present they don’t make one for the new front camera position.
Yes it’s paper like. I ended up using the 10.9 one for the 10th gen iPad on my new iPad Air

Hi guys! I come from a 2018 12.9 iPad Pro. I'm a teacher and I really think that a new pro would be too expensive for my usage. Do you think an M2 air might do the job? My friends recently gave me a gift card to use in an Apple Store, that's why I'm thinking to buy a new one rather than a used iPad.

I have a question on speakers, i have purchased M2 Air 2024 iPad only wifi.. there are four speaker grills and I hear the sound only from two speakers on the either side on the second row, if, the iPad is placed on landscape view.. can u help me know if this is natural design of this particular model to deliver the sound such way or it should be able to produce sound from all four speaker grills?? Ur suggestion is of great help for me to go for replacement

Only if you have an iPad with an A12 it’s a good upgrade!
I guess it depends on what you’re trying to do with your new iPad. For example, if you have the iPad 10th Generation and are looking to get into editing whether photo or video then this would definitely be a good upgrade.
@@VladGamingTechWorld oh nothing crazy just renewing my drivers defense course online and yet it couldn’t properly handle one of the pages so I took my brothers $200 dell laptop and did it with flying colors.
