He sure had an TEAC 80-8 8-Track recorder, visible at 3:44 in this video at the right, laying nearly flat.
Loved the kick drum on your track at the end there. Just enough attack but keeps all the low end-- what mic / size kick was it?
Cheers Daniel! It’s the AKG D12. That’s the reason I prefer the D12 to the D112. The D112 can be a bit too clicky. Great if you need that attack but most of the time, I prefer it to be a bit more subtle. The kick was a 22 inch.
@@mixingmasteringonline Ahh, one day for me. Always liked recordings with the D12. I am in agreement with the D112, I don't work in many genres where I would ever want that much click
