I bought this album when it was new and Burn is such a kick ass track.I love seeing young talent like this and the smile on her face says it all too.She's great while having a great time doing it makes it even better.This young lady must be on cloud 9 after receiving major props from the master.Accolades to Ian Paice also for taking time to do this when most of his stature couldn't be bothered.I always respected him as a drummer and now even more as a person.Well done,both of you!!
It’s actually quite emotional watching a 72-year-old genius commenting on a super-talented young player’s brilliant effort to recreate one of his greatest musical creations from 46 years ago. He’s so patient and kind, but occasionally spots an error that he quietly enjoys pointing out - as he deservedly can. He’s a truly gifted craftsman. She gets fantastically close to replicating his brilliance.
I'm a guitar player and watching this brought me to tears. Great music is so hard to come by any more. But Ian being the amazing person and musician he is pointing out what she does right as much as where she could improve. He is such an unsung hero of rock drumming!
I'd be interested to know what Ian could play when he was Sina's age; this sort of stuff wasn't around then. From watching and listening to Ian and Sina play this track I get the impression it's not the easiest drum part to play.

I agree, wild praise when he says "at that age I couldn't have done this..." from a truly honest artist. I can't predict the future so I don't know if Sina will grow to be an independent, original artist at the level of Mr. Paice, but if she doesn't do that, I can't imagine what other 17-year old drummer could.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ian a few weeks ago in Barcelona. We were both enjoying breakfast at the hotel. I recognized him instantly and went over to say hello and discuss DP with him. You made us grab the sticks, buzz the rolls and choke the cymbals. yes there has been a lot of puzzling a lot of mistakes and a lot of frustrations but it never outweighs the fun we all had. Hello Ladies, (Sina,Yoyoka) I hope you are both safe and well. While we are in this “lockdown” situation and not able to play our music in the normal way,I thought you might like to have a bit of drumming fun. Obviously we can,t meet personally at this time,(apart from the Covid situation we are in different parts of the world!). I was thinking of creating something between the 3 of us . Nothing serious or demanding,and definitely “not” a drum “battle”. More like an orchestral percussion section,working with,and for each other. As we all know, the technology available to us today allows us to do this as if we were in the same room. I have thought no further than this at the moment,but as we have all had positive responses to our clips on You Tube,it could be fun to do something together. Ian Paice has been my favorite rock drummer since 1972. I discovered Sina's UA-cam channel a few years back. I'm one of the people who suggested to her to cover Burn. When she did it, my immediate thought was wow. I wonder what Ian would think? Now I know!

Both were in the same year of 1985 in February and March (Philadelphia Spectrum, Perfect Strangers tour). I have seen quite a few bands from the 60's, 70's and 80's. I can honestly say, Deep Purple on both occasions, was the best band I have EVER seen live. While many elements made this happen, it was that Deep Purple has the uncanny ability to sound (the quality of sound) as though we, in the audience, were hearing the music as if it were being played in the studio. That is, the undeniable, unadulterated, not hiding behind any clever studio tricks or other nuances. 35 years later, I still cherish having seen Deep Purple live and I listen to your music to this day. I'd say the way more important thing than her drumming abilities (amazing btw) is the fact that young people still listen to that kind of music and try to get into it. That gives me hope for future generations of musicians!

I'm a guitar player and watching this brought me to tears. Great music is so hard to come by any more. But Ian being the amazing person and musician he is pointing out what she does right as much as where she could improve. He is such an unsung hero of rock drumming!

Woow Sina! He's Ian Paice! I was born in 1959 and my favorite Rock band was and are the Deep Purple! I have all Vinil disco ! I have seen many concert of this band around the world, when i was 16 - 17- 18 years ! Woooow !
As a long time Deep Purple fan - I often have a look on Sina's YT-Channel.
She does not only play drums, but almost all isntruments and singing, too,

Following her since she was 14, following you since I was 17 (in 1970). I have an excellent eye... and ear.
It is FANTASTIC that these musicians offer their history, their undeniable talent, not only to help others but to inspire for generations to come!!!
I'd say the way more important thing than her drumming abilities (amazing btw) is the fact that young people still listen to that kind of music and try to get into it. That gives me hope for future generations of musicians!
