- If you are refused a visa there are a number of options before you in most cases. Appealing the decision at the Administrative Appeal Tribunal (AAT) is one option but sometimes applying again for the same visa or perhaps a better-suited visa is something to examine.
With the recent changes in the Section 48 rules, those visas now exempt are, Partner Visa, Protection Visa, Medical Treatment Visa and the 494, 491 and 190 visas.

I was on a 485 visa and I applied for a global talent visa which I applied in 2021. My 485 visa was to expire on 27 august 2024, I had no news from immigration department and I was freaking out in case my visa has been rejected. Luckily 15 days before the expiry date I got an email “IMMI grant notification” which was a big sigh of relief for me.

i applied for visitor visa - tourist stream but then I got visa refusal and it's states there that I did not satisfied provisions of migration regulation 1994 , I don't know the exact or possible reason for visa refusal

What if applied onshore for subsequent entrant visa as de facto, and you haven’t attached any documents of financial capacity (just attached the bank statement of the shared bills on the jointly bank account), and they ask for you to show funds? Harsh there is no provision to correct information that was incorrect in your visa after it is granted. In your next visa application make sure all the information is correct.
@@ailsaustralia Yeah I will take care of it in future. But I saw ‘no siblings’ in my visa application by mistake and now If my sibling wants to come here (aus) then does it necessary to show my name in his application or they can leave it blank like ‘No sibling’?

We still do not have our Australian born childs passport due to extended lockdowns and work destruptions in both my country and in Australia. I’m kinda in a situation where I might get Visitor 600 refused (on-shore application). The reason for this application; is that past the 28 days (after student 500 expired ) I received invalid application for 485. Thus; I applied for visitor 600 to stay legally in the country. Your advice will be appreciated 🤝
Marwan yes it sounds like it maybe but depends upon the circumstances. If you are still on the BVA and within 6 months of course completion you might be able to lodge the 485 visa again. Please book a time with Zoe to discuss this matter quickly. Thanks for watching

Absolutely not. Remember for the 191 PR visa is 1) Keep to your visa conditions and 2) Hold the 491 for 3 years minimum and 3) Have the minimum income of $53900 for three eligible tax years. You are free to move both regions and employers

Hi Karl, I've applied for the 408 Covid visa last year but it is still in the midst of being processed. I have since decided to study a bachelors degree but I'm unsure if the 408 will get approved since the borders have opened up. Would it be best to apply for the subclass 500 whilst on a bridging visa or wait for the 408 result?

Hi Karl, great video, thanks. I need some advice please. I was in Australia from 2014-2015 on a working holiday visa. I was subject to some criminal charges and convicted. I am in the process of determining whether I am eligible to re apply for a partner visa to return to Australia. However I was refused a criminal justice stay visa on character grounds, I was not told the consequences of this at the time or even told any time frame as to which I could appeal. I have submitted a FOI request for all visa applications, cancellations and refusals which has came back with nothing regarding the criminal justice stay visa. Do you know why this would be? And do you think I have no chance of re applying to enter australia because of the refusal on character grounds? Thanks.

iam sorry i may be wrong but i have been researching about exactly same thing for a while. So as per my knowledge,South Australia and Tasmania, Tasmania little bit better or nearly same as south Australia. However, having said that, south Australia have large numbers of aged care centres so they have better job prospect as you need a proper job to pay your fee and after that you apply for 190 and if you work as a personal carer in south Australia you are exempted to show work experience look at their website there are other waivers too and in Tasmania you dont need work experience at all .

Hi I have a problems I got bridging visa B and go holidays that should be applying travel exemption but my lawyer said you don’t have to and you can go and enter to Australia after holiday but when time to return a week before the day to flight I send email to my lawyer to make sure that I can enter safely i fact I got the enter Australia cause I don’t have return visa. I applied for 485 visa on March 2021 and due to some emergency I travelled to my home country India on bridging b visa..and on October 2021 I got immi request by saying submit your afp evidence but due to my agent mistake was unable to provide afp…and got refusal on nov 2021 with aat rights…and Due to travel restrictions I was unable to travel back and do appeal within 21 days as I was offshore. My bridging b visa was expiring 31 dec 2021

Need some help and suggestion on this one
I applied for my 485 post study work visa in August 2021, in June 2022 I got an email from the immigration to get a medical done, I booked it and the available date was 15th of august, however I was not well on 15th of august and had to extend it. Luckily I also went for a Covid test on 16th august
I got a new booking for 20th of September
However I made a mistake and uploaded the confirmation of my previous booking on immigration account and because of that I got a visa refusal
It says I have to go through AAT.

Hii my visa got refused in 2018 and in 2020 i lost my passport. I got new passport but passport number got changed. So will my rejected visa record be will still there if i try with new passport that have different number from old passport?
They will still know who you are and have the record yes.

I am so angry at this whole process. I am here in Australia on a temp spousal visa. I put in for the second part to become a permanent resident. My husband is Australian. I have been a caregiver to my mother since 2012. She has Multiple Sclerosis. So she came here with us. We got her July 2019. So, as I said I applied for the second part and set up an IMMI account. I put my mother on my account because I thought I supposed to. I get correspondence from those Immigration clowns giving me the option to take her off with no reasons why. Of course I say no, keep her on because I want her here with me. I am the one caring for her and I don't want her so far away from me. To make a long evil story short, they conveniently left out the fact that her application was dependent on whether I was approved. I assumed I was approved. I get a refusal letter for her and mine is still saying it is being assessed. Why would hers be decided before mine? So, I watched your video and I was feeling a little less homicidal. I go and apply for the AAT and get to the end and realise they are charging almost $4,000 that we are supposed to pull out of our asses in 21 days. We don't have that kind of cash laying around. My husband works and I am home as a caregiver for my mom. She gets SSI from America, so she is not taking getting any financial aid from Australia. I have been turned down for jobs because I am not a resident yet. So, we decided to wait for the residency to come through. We feel tricked and shook down.
What if we come up with the money and they "quickly" deny her again before my residency comes through? Does my residency really even matter at this point? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
