Well the cruiser has low range and is heavier. Assuming the traction is even, they are both 4x4 (amorous I believe have a 2x4 version) and neither have front or rear diff lockers engaged (only centre diff) then the cruiser will win out.
And 2 years later these amaroks and cruisers gets sold on the secondhand market as "hardly been used en mooi na gekyk". These people know how to fuck up things that people like me would treasure.

As someone who works day in and day out on 79's, I can guarantee you, you are very VERY wrong. I would never wish one on my worst enemy.
There are so many better options than a 79 mate. They chew fuel, very basic features, not luxurious, and where I’m from cost around $80000.
