    I find it helpful to place markers to indicate the first and last three so I know I have to always knit them.
    Also using a marker on the magic loop helps to keep track of which side you are.
    I hope you don’t mind me saying about the markers but it’s much easier for us beginners or those that have difficulty remembering where they are 😊

    Thank you for sharing and it was easy following you. I have finished mine, if there is anything I would say as I didn’t watch the whole video first is that I wish I knew about the button holes before finishing the 11 rows. My daughter loved it 💕

    The pattern is lovely and i want to try it for my newborn baby! Can it be done with wool 50 g per 140 mt (i only found that one suitable for babies)? In that case should i use thicker needles (like 4.5 or 5) or stick with needles 4? Sorry if the questions are dumb, this is my first cardigan ever.. You have so many nice tutorials, i want to try them all!

      Garnstudio DROPS Merino Extra Fine, and
      Sandnes Garn PetiteKnit Double Sunday. The cardigan in the thumbnail is knit using Sandness Garn Double Sunday, and the version being knit in the tutorial is Sandnes Garn Alpakka. The needles are chiaogoo US 6 4mm needles:)

    I have a question about the guage . You say 21 stitches and 28 rows. Should that produce a square ?
    I would really appreciate any help as this looks a lovely pattern.
    Thank you ❤

    • @kaaburaknits
      @kaaburaknits  20 днів тому

      Yes, that would produce a 4x4 inch square if you're on gauge:) However, to knit a gauge swatch you'll want it to be slightly larger in order to accurately measure. Try casting on 30 stitches and knit for 5 inches, then measure 4 inches by 4 inches inside of this swatch to see if you're on gauge!

      Hi Mrite! You will notice once you start knitting, once side will show the knit stitches, and one side will show the purl stitches. For this project, the side with the knit stitches is the 'right side' and the side with the purl stitches is the 'wrong side.' :) This will make more sense once you get started!

      Purl stitches have a horizontal bar on the bottoms of it. Knit stitch has a v shape. Purl stitch is basically the "wrong side" of a knit stitch. I think there are close-up photos on google to learn to recognise them easier. However, you only have to knit a little bit to learn it visually.
