Hey Mark! Great unboxing of the Wild Life Set. The Polaroid pictures look nice. I’ll eventually get this set as well as Red Rose Speedway. I really want the $400 set. Just waiting for it to be back in stock. Thanks for showing the set Mark! Take care!
That big box set would have been cool but for what I paid for these I am ok not paying almost double just for the Wings Over Europe set. I look forward to seeing videos on it though when people start getting them. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing your Deluxe Edition of Wings Wild Life. The new McCartney archive editions seem to me more amazing than ever !! Box Set archives are always good, but the new ones like this are most incredible and I am sure the music will be fantastic ! Well done Mark, I hope you enjoy everything the box set has to offer.
Really nice, Mark - thanks for showing! I've been dying to see these. Looks very attractive. I'm sure I'll be getting both, but it will be a little while.
I was really fortunate to get them when the price was a LOT less on Amazon. Must have been an early glitch in their system which worked in my favor. Still cannot see spending $400 on the Big set but it would be cool to get ahold of.
@@MarkP Mark what did you get these for? I see you work at Amazon so you must get a 10% discount at least? thanks Bruce Ps also thanks on "The Carpenters" WARNING!!
These McCartney sets have really been impressive to me. They have such quality stuff in them. Could always use more bonus audio but other than that I'm happy with all of them.
Box looks amazing Mark. My 2CD versions are Arriving tomorrow from Amazon. Can’t wait for the big “Wings 1971-1973” box which will be my main Xmas gift!
Hey Mark, they do such a nice job on all of these and yet I never pick them up ($$$$$$$). I am looking forward to the vinyl version and will be grabbing that ASAP. Thanks for showing this and on to the next. Take care...
Wow mark what a nice box set so much in it . I do like the snap shots a lot and the tree in the background !!! Thank you for showing me this one and take care Mark and God bless you :"}.
I've heard some say they are dispatching already. But one person said not until the 14th. So who knows but I hope you get it soon. Looks like an awesome set!
I'm normally sceptical to remasters, but Wild Life got a new life with this remaster. It sounds great. If you did not dig it before, there's a chance you might now. I am truly amazed. Mumbo blew me away like it never has before, and I just realized it's a great album opener. I'm used to hearing this album through many decades, but it just sounds so fresh and smooth now I can hardly believe my ears lol. And by the way the song When the wind is blowing has finally got officially released on the bonus disc, and I'm hoping the rest of the unreleased Rupert the bear soundtrack will appear on London town or Back to the egg.
I've also been impressed with these remasters. Pretty much all the Archive series has been really good in my opinion. I really enjoy this album actually. Not sure why so many hate on it. Looking forward to London Town and Back To The Egg. Hopefully later next year.
Thanks for show it off..believe your first. I could only get the 2 disc sets, but that's all I need as I don't collect like I use to. I 'll find the extra music later somewhere. I got the 3 white album sessions material . Enjoy the books and stuff. take care
These sets do definitely take up a lot of room. I can see why you are getting away from collecting the big boxes. I'm sure the two disc sets will do you just fine though. I'm looking forward to getting into these more this weekend when I get time. Take care buddy!
Hi Mark, well I'm very excited about this release and hope it means people re-evaluate 2 underated Macca LP's.This is when Macca voice was at its peak.Side 2 of Wildlife is particularly good. Also have a soft spot for both records as they my first bought records and had to save pocket money to buy them.Do to collect the Small Faces as their recent box set is worth buying too.Best wishes
I, too, hope people re-evaluate these albums. There seems to be a lot of hate for them out there but they are a couple of my favorites! I was excited when these were announced. ( By the way I do not have anything by the Small Faces)
Great box sets. I have to wait a few days to get mine. I ordered the complete set Wings 1971-1973. I live in The Netherlands and had to order that set in England. But I got a message that it is dispatched. I hreard the bonus audio cd and the quality of the home recordings is a little disappointing. They are not better then the bootleg versions. At least for Wild Life. I have not heard the bonus from Red Rose Speedway yet. But.... I cannot wait to get mine. Enjoy listening, but ........for sure I know youwill.
Hope everything is going okay for you! Thanks for stopping by to check out the videos and I hope you are able to get a set for yourself soon. Take care!
Hi Mark. Love the sets.. but however too expensive for me. Maybe if the price drops. McCartney really puts the price up there in the unreachable zone for a poor guy like me. Just too many goodies this fall. Hope Santa will remember me. God bless and enjoy these releases. Tino
Are you able to order off Amazon? That's where I got it and it's still available there. Otherwise a Google search would likely show several online stores that have it. Good luck.
The cover of that album was always my favorite of all his album covers. The additional photography that I’ve seen in this set is beautiful as well. There were several other bucolic photographs taken that day. Too bad I never liked the album itself though. Side one is bad, side two is decent. My cd, from 1993, has four additional songs: Give Ireland Back to the Irish, Mary Had a Little Lamb, Little Woman Love, and Mama’s Little Girl for a total of 14 tracks. Those four bonus tracks are better that anything on side one. When I put it on, I start with track 6 and run it through to the end. I guess Bip Bop is okay. It just goes on too long.
Yeah I find Bip Bop go on way too long. But what I have been doing the last 6 years (as a hobby) I have been editing all of McCartney's albums for my playlists on my ipod. For example, Bip Bop, there was a line he says at the beginning, which gets repeated at the second last chorus. I edited that one out, now it feels like the length is perfect. I also pretend to edit the album as if McCartney left me in charge of it. So my version of Wild Life is now one of my favourite McCartney albums lol. I made a rule to myself though. The songs that get added to each album must be written during that recording session or the one previous. That way it is almosr chronological.
I think I like Wild Life more than most Paul McCartney fans. I would put it in my top 5. I won't go the box set route because of space. I really don't need all the extras. I may get the 2LP set.
I really enjoy Wild Life also. McCartney's solo albums seem to be very interesting in that people are so divided on which one's they love and hate. For the most part I love all of them but there are a few clunkers in there. I'd say this would maybe be in my top 5 also. Thanks for watching!
These remastered jobbies are a complete waste of money. To appreciate the sound quality, you would need a sound system practically as good as Abbey Road Studios themselves. And as most folks listen to their music on their smart phones, then they would hear no difference whatsoever. And I say this as a McCartney fan of nearly 60 years. I saw Wings in 1977 and have seen McCartney in concert as a solo artist 5 times. Even went to a rehearsal in 89 at the Playhouse Theatre in London. Needless to say, I won't be buying this CD or any of the remastered cds. Besides in 5 years time they will be remastered all over again. Not good for your bank balance.
I'll agree that the Wild Life outer box seem a little cheap and may not hold up as well as the other sets. But the contents of this and everything in the Red Rose Speedway set are pretty good quality. I'm really impressed with both sets.
What a fabulous work! Congratulations. You're the best music composer that has ever existed. I love your music
These are such beautifully put together deluxe releases. I don't think anyone can complain that Paul's team haven't thought these through carefully.
Great box set of my favorite Wings album

Thanks for sharing Mark, and its great the way Paul includes all the personnel stuff, he must have kept everything.
Not sure how often I'll ever look at that stuff but it is still a cool touch to include it in the sets.
Great Polaroid shots, really well done! Enjoy Mark and thanks for taking the time to show all in the set! Be well, Allan

Looks good. Good video, I first got this on 8 track LOL. We've come a long way baby! LOL I'll get mine tomorrow. Can't wait!
Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Yes, my 8-track was worn out playing in the car throughout the seventies.
Cool. Ordered the mega set from Paul's official website but have no idea when it will arrive unfortunately
I've heard some say they are dispatching already. But one person said not until the 14th. So who knows but I hope you get it soon. Looks like an awesome set!
I almost watched your video but I'm getting the 71-73box and I wan na be somewhat surprised . I'll watch your review of the music when you do it. Thx!

Man, you sure get a lot of stuff in them box set things. A McCartney treasure trove to be sure.

Where did you get your big Sgt. Pepper’s drum head on your wall?! I love it!
I painted it on the wall by hand. Glad you like it!
Thanks for the unboxing, unfortunately till I get back to work they have to wait.
Hope everything is going okay for you! Thanks for stopping by to check out the videos and I hope you are able to get a set for yourself soon. Take care!

I'm sure you've been nice all year. Hopefully Santa comes through for you :) Thanks for checking out my videos!

Are you able to order off Amazon? That's where I got it and it's still available there. Otherwise a Google search would likely show several online stores that have it. Good luck.
10:20 looks like the Beatles’ drum set. Is it, or is it a coincidence?
The cover of that album was always my favorite of all his album covers. The additional photography that I’ve seen in this set is beautiful as well. @Trevor Santo Wow!! You clearly have OCD. Just kidding. Actually I like your attitude.
Cheers Mark👍 Where did you get your t-shirt?!
At one of the Paul McCartney concerts I went to.
@@MarkP Love it.👌
Cool Mark not out in Australia yet
Unfortunately I was unable to get the $400 box set. Oh well. I'll wait for it to go on sale.
You might be waiting a long time, ;-) there are 2 on Ebay at the moment one going for 1350 dollars and the other for 2 grand!!

Cool Review Mark
Thank you for checking it out!
I loved Wild Life. Nothing by him after that really.
Interesting. Most people don't even care for this album. I love most of Paul's solo output so I was really happy to get this one!
can someone please tell me if you can get this on a cd
Yes from HMV Amazon and all your favorite retail outlets ; )
Yes they are available as 2 CD sets as well.
