Band on the Run has 5 tracks on it that I like. Red Rose Speedway, taking into account all the double album songs, too, has several more than that. Very underrated album!

Luckily I pre-ordered right when it was announced and so I got it for about $50 cheaper than what it's currently going for. Looking forward to digging into it tonight.
Mark can’t wait for the 1971-1973 Wings box set for Xmas. The 2CD versions will have to hold me over until then. Just amazing that these albums finally made the Archive series. Wings fans enjoy! Yeah it is costly, but geez people look what is in this box....unbelievable!
Hearing rumors of London Town and Back To The Egg next year. Hope it's true because after that I don't care what comes next. My essentials will be complete!

Great video. This Archive box of RRS is up there with the very best in the series for content (Ram, McCartney II, Wings Over America). Always liked this album, even though it’s not considered one of his best. I think of it as being one step away from Band On The Run.😁 Definitely Paul finding his commercial feet again. We all moan about the price of these boxes, but they’re beautifully put together. Thanks for being so thorough in this video. Always good to see a true fan’s excitement.
I couldn't agree more. This is such a stellar box set and I'm very happy with it. One of my favorites of Paul's solo career (of which there are many).

Great box sets. I have to wait a few days to get mine. I ordered the complete set Wings 1971-1973, containing these 2 sets. I live in The Netherlands and had to order that set in England. But I got a message that it is dispatched.
But.... I cannot wait to get mine.

Hope you get it soon! It would have been cool to get the Big Barn Box but I got these two for just over half the price so I'm fine with not having the Wings Over Europe portion. Maybe it'll be available later separately and I can get it that way.
@@MarkP over here in The Netherlands the big box is cheaper than buying the two sers seperately because I could buy the rhe complete box wings 71-73 in England, than buying the two seperately in The Netherlands. The RRS box is nearly 225 euro and the Wild Life about 160 euro.

Hey Mark. Wow top notch release. I'm going for Red Rose.Not to familiar with Wild Life. Love the packaging. I tell ya Mark my wallets crying after all these reissues coming out right at the end of the year. But this McCartney release is outstanding.

Would have been nice to have all these releases spread out more over the year. But really I'm just glad to get all the material! It's been a spendy but great year for Beatles fans.
I ordered the set that includes both the Wild Life and Red Rose Speedway boxes. It also includes an exclusive live disc from the period. I haven't got it in the mail yet, but it has shiwed up on my credit card bill. OUCH!
Yes that was quite a spendy set that I wish I could have gotten. But I couldn't see spending so much for for the little bit extra that was in it. I'm looking forward to someone showing it on UA-cam. I'm sure you'll love it.

Hey Mark, are the music videos in their original 4.3 Fullscreen version & not those lousy widescreen that they chopped off the top & bottom stealing about 35% of the original video like they did in the 2CD set The McCartney Years. I have an old Picturetube TV cause I love seeing the videos the way they were made originally & I'm sure you don't know or understand what i'm talking about, Let me give you an example of what i'm talking about. If you have the first McCartney box set, yes, the videos are in 4.3 fullscreen, BUT, they are reformatted for those stupid HDTV's meaning if I see it in my old picturetube TV, I get a little 4.3 video block in the middle of my screen with a black bar ring around the video. But if you have the Tug Of War or Pipes of Peace, those music videos were left in their original 4.3 fullscreen & I get a full frame like you would get in the 80's in the old TV's & my question is, were the videos on this new box set left on their original ratio aspect of 4.3 & not reformatted? I just bought the box set, but I won't get it till next week to see for myself. Please let me know, Thanks or can you place a video so we can see. Thanks.

Is there another LP version which is of course different from the Reconstructed? If there is, do the songs differ from the 2LP Reconstructed? thanks in advance!!
There is the "Reconstructed" vinyl which you got and also the 2 LP Archive release which has the original album on the first alb and these tracks on the second: 3.1 Mary Had a Little Lamb

Pepper Anniversary 2 LP is not sold anymore, except scalper pricing...they only sell the 1 lP. Thanks Mark for that listing, those are all good songs......Since Macca has done about 4 different video versions of Mary Had a Little Lamb..wonder if all 4 of those version are different in someway? Most folks laugh at that tune, but I have ALWAYS loved it, even when it came out over some 50 years ago!!:-)

These are available in double CD editions. I believe the double CD of Red Rose has the original double album on CD two.

At the time of this post Red Rose is Currently at $181 on Amazon. I preordered as soon as it was posted on Amazon and I got mine for much less than that however. Wild Life is currently at $101.

Too much crap for the price! I'll just get the CD for 1/5 the price! Not one of Paul's better albums. Back in the days of frantic 1973 top 40 & FM rock radio, "My Love" was an instant snoozer. Not the worst thing Paul ever recorded but definitely not "Yesterday".
Everyone's got different taste in music. This is an album I really enjoy listening to so I wasn't afraid to spend the money on it. Thanks for checking out the video!
