This has just happened to me. It's so frustrating! I've ended up cancelling the order abd letting the dishonest buyer have their refund and keep the item as I don't want their rubbish.
I just bought a dress and is nearly £90. The seller seems to have a new account no reviews or any followers. They sent me a picture with the postage receipt but I notice that the weight is only 100gr and I’m pretty sure the dress is heavier than this as is a knit long dress. I’ll record the opening of the parcel, just in case 😂
I had this, got scammed and they asked me to send them photos of the package I sent off and then sounded surprised that I didn’t have any photos. After a lot of hassling i eventually got my money just after a month they made the claim
You got lucky to get reimbursed!! I had the same situation with my Prada shoes (new in a box with a dustbag) and I have done over 110 transactions with a rating of 5. Vinted came back to me saying that my item was counterfeit and I never got any money back. Literally shoes in an original box with the whole package!
