Tour of Epynt Rally Crashes, Highlights & Pure Sound, 30/7/23

Back to rallying after some time away and off to Epynt in some of the most miserable weather we've encountered yet this summer, I'm still soaked as I write this. A bit of action on the notorius Burma road section saw a few competitors fall into a big ditch, perhaps the most notable being the Tuthill/Prevot Porsche that was first to find the slippery conditions and robbed us of the great sounding historic rally car, plus very competitive pairing. The Tour of Epynt this year suffering a little from not being a National UK Tarmac rally championship round but it was still pretty decent, most people I think were simply trying to survive in weather that at times seriously limited visibility. It would be nice if the current weather in the UK wasn't doing its best impression of late November...
