  • Sara first noticed something may be wrong after getting random sharp pains, but the cause was unclear. Later on, after getting an IUD, a follow-up ultrasound showed a concerning ovarian cyst and she was later diagnosed with a high-grade serous ovarian cancer.
    In this cancer vlog, she discusses how it took more than a year to get her ovarian diagnosis, her difficult surgery and treatment decisions and her advice to other patients.

    Hi there. I have Clear Cell OV too. I was diagnosed in 2013 with stage 3a. Clear Cell is always high grade. I had the exact chemo as you, dose dense following surgery. Then I had lower pelvic radiation, 25 treatments even though I had no visible cancer post surgery. 10 years later I haven’t had a reoccurrence at all. I’m hoping for a good outcome one for you too.

    I remember when hospitals had "Patient Advocates".... It's great to advocate for yourself but for those who can't or don't know... qualified patient advocates were great. It's a shame that they no longer exist...

      I believe she said her hair only thinned she washed it separately from showering and used cold water, didn't use any heat blow dryer or irons on her hair. 😊

      She said she used a "cold cap" during chemo. That is to prevent hair loss.

    I was doing research on Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, IV Vitamin C, heat therapy, hyperbaric chamber, and Turkey trail mushrooms. Can anyone also share their thoughts on these alternative treatments?

    • @anglophils645
      @anglophils645 6 місяців тому +4

      Yes, that is all crap. With the possible exception of hyperbaric treatment, which is only recommended for certain cancers. Listen to your doctors, they will tell you the appropriate treatments for your type of cancer.

      Fenben, ivermectin. All can work to cure cancer. They have discovered a parasitic link to cancer and these drugs help to cut off tumor blood supplies. Read about Joe Tippens. He was told he has months to live over five years ago with advance lung cancer. He did the Tippens protocol,with fenben and other supps. He is cancer free today.

    I'm so sorry for this woman and the illness she suffered. I'm sorry she experienced pain due to a lack of proper pain meds. 😢
    I don't understand though why women with cancer want to have kids and potentially pass along a propensity for cancer to an innocent child or leave an innocent child without a parent. Very very selfish. 😢 Hopefully, she reconsiders.

    Before you start this video, adjust the speed setting slower first. She talks super fast. Lots of nurses and docs do, a requirement of the job to respond fast, talk fast.
