I love John Grey’s character. His genuine love for Jamie is so wonderfully portrayed.

He literally showed up to save Brianna right on cue. It was pretty cool. Their scenes together were something!
John Grey’s character is very lovable both in the books and the tv series.
Maria is a force of nature and fantastic actor.

I don't understand how this show does not get more hype and recognition. They are trailblazers to show different types of relationships in different age brackets, consent, female gaze and pleasure, male assault and rape. Bridgerton is pitched as this path breaking show but Outlander did this first and so many years ago. BRAVO!
I just love Sam and Cait and the whole cast. Kinda miss Dougal, Rupert, Angus and clans of S1,2. Scotland is a vibe, I hope they go back soon.

We have binged Outlander 3 times this year and can't wait for the next season, every character is awesome, the way Claire and Jamie gaze at each other pulls at the heart. Love Duncan/Murtagh and hope they continue his character. David Berry's acting in the way he looks at Jamie is amazing. Bottom line WE LOVE OUTLANDER, the characters, the story line, the scenery, the passion!

Better late than never. Having never watched it...I bought all 5 seasons on DVD and Binge watched all 5 years worth in a WEEK. Thats how good it was. Cant wait until season 6 now.

Nira Chien try a place to call home or simply google him for other things he’s been in I did that with Richard rankin and surprisingly I’d already watched him in a lot of other things ! And listen to his accent here or in other panels and it’s obvious maybe I pick it up instantly seeing I’m an Aussie as well I’m from Sydney FYI but David is from
Melbourne our other major city . Which is where he lives when not filming the show . He has already said he’d be up if they wanted to or if it got the green light for a Lord John spin off .

I need a serie of lord john omg his story raising his forbidden love,he stayed married to his love's affair's sister... So much to say in all those years
AMS JV he married ( he’s gay btw) to give William a mother in isobel whose Geneva’s sister so his aunt . She and John raise him together and for that Jamie is very grateful . FYI David Berry who plays John has said if they do decide to make a spin off of those novels he’d do it if it got the go ahead ! Could be biased seeing like David I’m australian just he’s from Melbourne whereas I’m a sydneysider

I love the Outlander series and spent quite a few months reading all the books to date except for the Lord John books .. which l may tackle soon. This cast is fabulous and work soo well together. Starz really has a solid line up of shows.
Deb Neils try the Scottish prisoner it’s set around the same time period as voyager but goes more in depth into the six years Jamie spent at helwater so lots of back story of he and lord johns friendship in it . Also there’s virgins which is a story of when Ian Murray ( Jenny’s husband ) and Jamie are mercenaries together in France as young men . Also try the seven stones to stand and fall collection of short stories which feature many of the outlander characters . Book nine should also be out in the next six months or so in the meantime excerpts are on Diana’s website , dianagabaldon.com to read . I think from memory there’s around six novellas In the lord John series . Happy reading 📖

I think, in my own personal opinion, Sam and Cait were really a couple outside of the show for at least 2 seasons or more. The problem was, she had a longstanding boyfriend. She had to make a choice. She chose to marry McGill, no doubt he was jealous over the huge fame and notoriety and their relationship. There is a huge and distinct change through season 4 and especially 5, where the chemistry is gone. Cait got married in August 2019. And was engaged through2018. One reason she wanted to be a producer was to have a say over so much nudity, which she has said publicly (the nudity)she regrets now.
I believe Sam is still in love with her. He has made the statement with no name included, that he was in love, but the one he loved he could not claim for himself.
Even on show interviews in 2014 the physical attraction and body language was so strong and endearing, yet compared to now there is basically nothing. Her latest interviews, she leans away from him and crosses her legs awayin the opposite direction.
She probably made the right choice, as Hollywood marriages rarely workout between two high profile stars, and the expectations would have been enormous from the public.
He loved her, she didn't. End of story. It's obvious from the way they look at each other that he looks at her with love, while she looks at him with the advantage of the woman who is loved and who knows that. He hoped for more, she just saw him as a friend, maybe attracted to him, but not enough to have him. Maybe in the beginning there was this chemistry between them, because, despite being actors, they are human, and it's impossible to be so close and spend so much time toghether without feeling anything. Maybe they had something physical, enough to release the tension and curiosity about each other, but nothing more. In this kind of connection they both found the strenght to cope with the fame this show brought them, that's why in early interviews you see them so connected, always looking at each other and being so happy together. But for her it turned into friendship and eventually he understood that. It wasn't nice of her to give him hope while being in a relationship with another man, though. That's why everyone says that the chemistry is gone.
Nope. They were never a couple. Caitriona was with Tony since 2014. She also said that she never dates actors.

@@karenking-ellis441 That may be true for you but there are many who watch for Claire/Cait. If you believe that Sam makes the show, more power to you. In reality, Outlander is Claire/Cait and you won't have a show without her. Her character is the most interesting and Caitriona has been outstanding from day 1.
Getting to listen Murtagh and John grey for the first time. They sound completely different. Of course non of them are Scot. It's funny how I expected Lord john to talk the classic British accent
I will always love this show but I was disappointed that Jsmie & Claire didn't have the chemistry in this interview that is usually very strong. I guess I just have to get over it❤
I totally agree !! It is sad 😔 they use to radiate when they looked at each other and it did make a difference on the show ! They did have a spark at first I think !! But she had split from her long time relationship with David Milone not being attached anymore! I guess she was more open ! But she soon moved on and found Tony 😩 I think she likes older men ! Sam younger women his past girl friends have been in their 20’s ! But I do feel they still have a great friendship, but not as a close one they began with is a huge disappointment to me too !!

And to me the part of the trailer that shows a man that Claire is operating on it can only be one of two people Jamie after the snake bite or roger after Jamie , Brianna and Claire rescue him from the gallows

I know they have to hate these constant interviews. I did like the scene with the blind lady...she portrayed such an aura of satisfaction. So sweet. That said, watching these interviews is pretty much of a downer as they erase the context of the series.

I think she might. Blind people sometimes have heightened (other) senses. Plus his voice is rough, with a thick Scot accent. She just might.
Some voices are never forgotten. But nothing of this serie is completely real haha

Totally weird how the dude Star seems totally "weak" as a man here... (just not that "manly" presence in speech, behaviors etc.) compared to his character in the show.
That is just your idea (of course) of what strength in a man looks like-never mind jet lag, a full work schedule and boring, repetitious interviews in which actors are not allowed to reveal anything about the upcoming season. Actors ACT. When they are great actors like Sam Heughan, they become their characters. That's a skill!

It’s always struck me how different Sam is from Jamie. A lot of “stars” are always themselves when “acting”, but Sam is clearly a master at his craft. He has created the most fully fleshed out male character I’ve ever seen, and one who is so different from himself. So f---g talented!!

I perceive that the others may not want to talk as much! Remember, they don’t want give out too much information about the upcoming seasons. They might have an agreement between each other, and so, Cat ends up responding.
