To anyone suffering from any kind of sadness or depression. Please remember to allow yourself to feel the emotions so that your body can let them go. Be kind to your body by telling "it" how much you appreciate all it does to keep you functioning. Treat your body as if it were a child. Love, gentleness, and kindness. Please tell your body: I give you permission to be "happy, sad, excited or whatever you'd like to say."" All this will improve the relationship you have with yourself and help you process your emotions and help you feel connected to yourself. ❤❤❤

Looking forward to it xx I just spent an hour writing in my journal on this topic as I've been so down and emotional this week and had been asking spirit for help! Thanks Susan and your spirit team! Xx I just finished journaling and it's 1.35 am and your webinar comes on at 2am. So glad I'm awake for it 🙏🌸

I’d love to hear Suzanne interview Dr. Richard Schwartz, the founder of the evidence-based IFS therapy model. i've been doing IFS for a few months - it's about learning to have deep internal conversations with the parts of you that struggle with ‘less than positive’ thoughts and feelings - always from a place of love and compassion.
Many people - including me - are starting to use IFS as a beautiful complement to their spiritual practice. I think it would fit nicely with Suzanne’s NO FAULT model. For example, in the Acknowledge step, instead of only asking higher consciousness or your guides for insight, you would also ask the parts of you who are having those thoughts/feelings to speak from THEIR perspective. I’ve often been surprised at what a part has to say - it’s like it has access to an internal wisdom I wasn’t consciously aware of. Best of all - the more I heal my relationships with the various parts of me that I’ve judged, feared, hated, blamed, ignored, etc, - the more joyous I feel! My deepest thanks to Suzanne and Bev and the entire team, your work is so important 🥰

When I'm home I microwave 2 heating pads and put them on my feet, my lap, shoulders, hands and the other day I wrapped them around my neck and arms and we danced together! The heat makes me feel so comforted and loved if I can imagine that so I do!

Thank you, Suzanne and Bev, for this broadcast on healing. I have been reading your book, Awakened Way, and this broadcast confirms the teachings and realizations of the book for me in my journey. It is so wonderful to have these broadcasts available to all to remind us of the love we innately possess to deal with this life here on planet Earth. Tough roller-coaster for sure!!

Great episode, thank you! Not only does sugar blunt our feelings (so they will still need to flow up and out later; emotion being energy-in-motion when it's behaving normally) - sugar is also highly inflammatory to all systems of the body, including the brain; so the more sugar we consume, the more we're likely to then have ongoing emotionality, depression, and crying. By cutting sugar out almost completely (it's nearly impossible to cut out every bit in the American diet, even coconut water has a bit added), my depression decreased dramatically. It was shocking how much better I felt. I still eat chocolate for the theobromine and health benefits, but only sugar-free chocolate. (I found one that is sweet enough for me because it has cocoa butter in it; Total Blackout, by Alter Eco. That company also donates to forest restoration.)

My son in law of 14 years, whom I loved dearly, killed himself in the bathroom. Took his handgun and shot himself in the head. I cleaned up the bathroom and was quite traumatized, but someone had to clean it up. The entire event is horrific. He just had hernia surgery and was still loopy the next day. He would have never have done this in his right mind! My husband left me and I lost my job and have not worked in 6 months..... I am emotionally toast. Almost non functional.

Is it typical for buried emotions to resurface once you start a meditation routine? I've been meditating for a couple of months and all this stuff is surfacing from my past. It's quite draining but I'm trying to deal with it. Are there any tips for getting through this period? Thank you all at the team. Claire xxxx

I certainly am not trying to be rude. But WTH would any human choose the horrors of some of the ppl of these comments have suffered (that brought me to tears ) , including horrible situations in my own life ? So we sit up there and choose to experience watching our children suffer and die or picking up our toddler who was in a car accident that was killed and was in pieces ? And you’re destroyed for life ? And we are supposed to shift our thinking ? And we have to look for gratitude through gratitude. Doesn’t add up for me i guess.
