- On March 5, 1971, the Black Panther Party held an event at the Oakland Auditorium called "Revolutionary International Day of Solidarity" for Bobby Seale, Ericka Huggins, Angela Davis, and Ruchell Magee, and also to honor Party Minister of Defense Huey P. Newton on his release from prison. Huey P. Newton was the featured speaker. This event advertised an appearance by Kathleen Cleaver, too, but the female voice on this recording was noted by the recorder as being Elaine Brown. The event also included live performances by the Reverend Charles Bronson, the Grateful Dead, The Lumpen, and The Vanguards, some of which appear on this recording.
I miss these black unity, wish we still had a black panther party.
Can’t have unity with people who can barely stand eachother anymore...
@@bryanc7094 We just got to pray and unite.
Right on right on ♥️🖤💚
Yeah. Colorism and rampant misogyny has factionalized black people. Introduction of crack made gangs powerful and stopped black mobilization
We need solutions because obviously the foundation has been laid, we are hearers of the wisdom but not doers, the struggle continues but with bleeding hearts pure nonsense
All speeches and ACTIONS like this is what our youth need to emulate today!! This is what is going to carry us into a truth REVOLUTIONARY state of being. Without this, there’s no hope!
brother huey needed a retreat to a writing village in africa after getting out of jail. imagine john henrik clarke and he planning a educational encyclopedia series on an african beach
Everything he been through he still loved all people and still could smile and have a regular conversations with anybody.
I saw a poster of this when looking up references for drawing. Must've been cool to see in person!
ALL POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!
I love these speakers so much. (:
thank you for posting this comrade, truly amazing. Long live!
power to the people
Even today listening to Huey speak in powerful. Imagine if the American government would not have killed Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr, Fred Hampton, and others.
This is an amazing window into our history. Thank you to whoever had or found this, and to you here who has made it available to the world. 🙏🏽
This absolutely a great historical find being presented on Afro Marxist Channel, this is the first time I was able to listen to a people's rally as powerful as this. I was 10 years old in 1971 when these great words were being spoken. I'm just now listening to these very powerful words of Brother Huey and other revolutionary comrades and feel very inspired.
Huey knew he wasn't as eloquent as a Malcolm X or MLKJr. But his message was clear and to the point. May he rest in peace 🙏 ✊🏾☭♡
1 PEOPLE ☺️....1 MIND. ..1 ❤️ LOVE...1 NATION.....1.....
That gospel song by the Revered wow so powerful
Intercommunal March 2022
That "Revolutionary Prayer for Our Governor" (Reagan) at 22:53 is great! Praying that his car will crash, that he'll be incinerated when his car collides with a fuel truck, praying that his driver will have a heart attack and a hemorrhage and send his car flying into a nuclear weapons facility that also holds lots of TNT. Absolutely fantastic, and Reagan deserved every bit of it. Reminded me of comedian Bill Hicks's words: "Why do all the good people die and the bad ones live on? Martin Luther King: murdered. JFK: murdered. Reagan: wounded."
NUMBER #1. FOR ✋ BLACK HISTORY MONTH. PEACE FROM THE GOD (*7 ).
Those of us black people who survived the 60's and 70's I salute you..we're old now but our strength and truth remains. Trying to come together again as before in todays society will be like trying to mix oil and water, ain't happening. Today's young brothers and sisters seems to have been broken. But we can't blame these youngster's of today the change came during the 80's when young mothers and fathers wanted to stay teenagers and became their kids friend. So what we have now is a bunch OLD ass kids running around here talking about I'm grown.
Warriors of the world unite.

What we need is a foundation that sends people back home who want to go with $50000 in their pockets. Because they're not going to change. So if you want to stay here and be the under belly of this society or an entertainer, or just a sycophant; then stay.
Where should we go,they follow us every where we go.
@@vanessadoravhill5734 was reading about Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana might be a nice place to start. I'm still looking.
America 🇺🇸 “is” is our home. We need a Socialist America with American characteristics js
@@waynesaladeen America is the Americans home. You are part of the problem. Everybody's going back home, so the Americans can rebuild their populations and land. Get caught in the mix if you want. I've talked to my American brothers, they want everyone gone, except them. And we should be helping them, as intelligent, dignified people.
@@waynesaladeen it sounds like you Stockholm syndrome, or battered wives syndrome. Ask yourself after hundreds of years of abuse, why do you want to stay? I'd rather be helping my people on my land, instead of contributing, or being complicit in this crime scene (probably the largest in history).
11:22 i think he makes a mistake and meant to say feudalism was revolutionary when it kicked out slave society
