From the depths of war and misery emerges a common cause: Ukrainians are banding together to rescue people’s pets, left behind by those forced to flee. My mom lives in Kharkiv, which is constantly shelled by Russians, one of the reasons she doesn't want to relocate even temporarily, because of her 5 cats, that have been so supportive to her all this time.
And by the way, it is amazing, how the cats have adapted to the shelling sounds, they found out by themselves what are the safest places in the house, between the two or even 3 walls (like a bathtub, a closet, a washing maching), and they hide there when the shelling starts.
I like Anton Ptushkin so much, I think everyone in Ukraine does, he is such a talanted, kind hearted, intelligent person with a good sense of humour.
