- We had a wonderful chatting with Scowl, just before their set with Show Me The Body and Jesus Piece at the Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver, BC. The band are dropping their new Will Yip produced album Psychic Dance Routine on April 7th via Flatspot Records. Guys, when I say "the new Turnstile", i'm talking about bringing hardcore to the mainstream, attracting new people, somo people that probably would never get in touch with hardcore but they get thanks to these bands. For me it is a positive thing and I love both bands.
Of course they're different, of course they do not sound the same. I'm just giving them credit. Chill.
@@LowStressFTW It's sad that you think that's a good thing for hardcore....one of the most anti-mainstream genres. Hardcore is definitely dead because of bands like this and people like you.

The Weakerthans are the greatest canadian band ever. John K is the best songwriter. Also, Ill Blood is the best NYHC album of the 2000s. A literal game changing record. It should be every young hardcore kids for ten albums.

Calling Floral Green this generations London Calling is the worst take ever. I kinda respect it. Scowl does nothing for me, but love hardcore kids making killing it.
