People call me weird for preferring to be alone. But sometimes, it's nice to just be left alone and be deep in thought.

I can’t even have roommates. Like I have very close friends and stuff that I’ve lived with but really didn’t like it at all. I need my alone space/time MOST of the time

I can relate! Everyone thinks it’s so strange that I’m perfectly happy and content just being alone on my days off. Why is being an introvert not considered “normal”? Why is being an extrovert more acceptable to society...? I’ve always had to push myself to be more extroverted, which just leaves me unhappy and tired in the end.

My morning routine has me working out, then eating breakfast quietly by myself. It's usually the best part of my day: quiet time for introspection.

I’m definitely not an introvert but my bf is and I can totally see when he is reaching his point with. Crowds and people. Can be tough for going out with friends but I’m learning and shifting my way of thinking more to support him. Thank you for this insight Travis!

I can see that I'm joining the conversation late and I see that Travis represent the best of all us loaners (I don't mind being called a loaner)...it's taken me the most of my life to finally be comfortable in my own skin. There’s been many a day when I wish that I was more extroverted, had a better personality, that I could do a better job of holding up my end of a conversation in social settings when all I wanted to do was bolt for the door...I’ve become comfortable in knowing that it’s okay not to be “social”…it’s okay to have those “long uncomfortable silences” on conversations that really don’t matter with people that really don't matter to me on a personal sense…It’s okay not to want to be with anyone else than myself…there’s nothing wrong with any of that and I know that there are many of us out there who feel the same way too.

I’m an INFJ as well, I’ve found throughout my life, that I used to feel like I’m missing something if I don’t always go out, but I soon learned that it’s ok to have me time and it’s ok to stay in, but that I also need to step out of my comfort zone a lot of times, thanks for always inspiring and giving help even if those types of vids don’t get the most views!

When I was young I was a social person , or so I thought. I have been in retail management forever so people all the time and always "ON". Now, I do get push back from people because I want to be alone, with my pets, and do my thing. People say its not healthy. I am so grateful for you sharing this video. Thank you!

I can't really put into words how much your videos impact my life. Crazy to say that i've never met you yet I more closely relate to you than anybody i've ever met. That's what originally drew me to your channel. Just reminded me of myself in so many ways. Can't remember the last day I haven't watched your videos. Even just re-watching old videos still leave an impact on me. These videos on life are the best. I went through one of the lowest points in my life this past summer and your videos were the only thing that got me through it and helped me to keep a positive attitude on a daily basis. This video in particular hit me hard because it literally describes me word for word. I took the Myers & Briggs personality test and I ended up being an INFJ ironically. Thanks for everything man! Keep being a Rich Homie! I'll be a loyal supporter for the rest of my life!

After going some tough time in life and lawschool recently for these months i start to select the content i watch when i have free time to watch. Your videos are something i look forward and still rewatch. You reinspired me to start living by my own means and views and waking early to exercise. I wish to have the same impact i could possibly provide when i graduate and start this content creation intentionally again. Hopefully providing some value and help to people like me in my situation rn like what you did to me right now

I kind of hate being an introvert and I'm trying to change myself but with no result. This passed weekend I had 5 days off, Saturday through thursday and I kept telling mysefl, "tomorrow I should go out and do something." Yet here I am on a thursday night without going out, not even breathing in the air from the outside world in the last five days. Tomorrow will be the first time I breath the city air again when I go to work.

I love being an introvert, it's the way I came in to this world. Living in London however helps when I take solo trips within the city, because no one minds your business due to them having their own problems. I attend cinema and theatre alone since these activities don't interest my husband and son. I find ways and means of making myself happy and that's all that counts in this context.

It all comes down to where you get your energy from. If you get your energy from being around people, then you're extroverted. Vice versa for introverts. I work retail and am great from it, but I leave work exhausted every time. I'm a strong introvert (70%)

Same :) I like spending time alone, but when I can't see any of my friends for more than 2 weeks I feel bad. When I have to be with someone during the entire day I don't feel good as well - I just need to sit with a coffee for 45 minutes a day and be alone to feel ok. I think I'm 60% introvert and 40% extravert.

First off I am very sorry for not watching this when it was posted. Second 1:20 seconds I had to stop it, not because it was too awful to see or to "preachy" but because I was in shock that you admit that you are in introvert. Third the fact that you said power phrasing here "You are doing UA-cam videos because you are trying to break through your shell." which is what I have been thinking for months on end. Fourth yes I will continue the video but I need to say this Travis no matter what "the views" dictate don't every change because you are a guiding soul to those who are lost in the darkness....Thank you
