Also, notice the strange voice that it was using to speak the altitude at landing. Sounds sort of like a Dalek. It is the first time I've seen an Airbus with traditional yokes.
lol Hey, your right on your game! That was almost a dare. Had the situation been reversed, I could not have resisted either. I have a thirteen year old aviation freak who wants to be a pilot. I went to your website for some stocking stuffers...there are so many great looking videos. I am going to have to narrow it down by his favorite plane type, or airline, or both. Too many choices. But that's a good thing.
Only the A300 Classic. The more modern A300-600 and A310 which shared the same cockpit, as seen in the video are 2 crew airplanes. Infact The A300-600/A310 were designed as 2 crew cockpits from the start. Something Boeing can't say about the 767 which was actually originally a 3 crew flightdeck until US Law changed shortly before it launched in 1982. Boeing had to change the first 30+ 767-200s to 2 crew cockpits from 3 crew!!
You need to read up on your history before making such a statement. The A300 Classic, The B1/B2 and B4, the grandfather of all Airbus aircraft have yokes. As well as the more modern and updated EFIS, 2 crew cockpit A300-600 and A310 which came after shared the same cockpit also had yokes. The first Airbus with a side stick was the A320-100 when it was launched in the late 80s.
it's almost a myth they still do such personal service on a jet, i know its first but its still pretty cool, dishing out in front of you.
love kuwait airways

They do reverse to decrease the speed of an aircraft .. :)
Very nice

مشكور حبوب ههههههه
Question....
When a pilots land it plane do they reverse. Why
baroo7 aboosah 3ala el landing el 7eloo
It's an A300, which uses the yoke
Funny how they only filmed the business class. In reality, Kuwait Airways' service has really gone down over the decade.
why is there a yoke in an airbus?
Betcha if I just wrote a comment like "Hello, how are you doing?" it would not get a response.
nice clip but i wish the cockpit was more lit.
Is that beluga?
Does this A300 needs a flight engineer? I know that the first version needs.
