Great piece of Video Compiling done here..And I'm certainly not the most knowledgeable on Rugby(I tend to follow just the international matches) but even in a less then successful season the NZ AB's will always the benchmark for other countries!
Wasn’t actually a terrible year. Lions team was one of the best ever and we may not have one the series but we did play some good rugby. Lost two games and had some key players missing.
Superb highlights. I think Ireland and England are a coin toss for number 2 in the world right now, and a clear cut above the rest in the top 6 in the world respectively, but you just have to admit this is another level. Such slick hand passing and movement combined with almost telepathic understanding. Love them or hate them, you have to respect them. Superb outfit, and great to watch. Its not a strongest man in the world competition, its rugby, and this is something many nations get wrong. The kiwis are a great balance between brawn, speed and finesse that a lot of countries need to learn from.
Another level? Aus beat them, SA within a point and Sco within a pass of beating them, oh and a draw and a loss to the BIL's. England are on better form over the last 2 years. You can fall in love with poetic passes and and that, but it's results that matter.
2017 won't really be remembered as a stellar year for the All Blacks, but let's not forget that they handed out two of the greatest arse-whoopings the Wallabies and Springboks have ever received.
Aussie here - OMFG 57-0 over Sth Africa. We are stuffed in Rugby now... grass roots level is basically non existent and other footy codes x 3 all taken over. Such a shame after the 1984 to 2015 years that we were competitive in... the last few years have been a telling difference. All Blacks now are basically unbeatable for us.
I was the first to think we were going backwards while the rest of the world caught up, but looking back it now. It's been a pretty successful 'building' year. Re-building and All Blacks don't generally go hand in hand as their fans and themselves automatically require results. But to blood new players throughout the Lions series and come away with a draw is awesome and has given all the non hardened test players extreme confidence. On top of that to continue to chug along the year with constant rotation of the team week in week out and players playing below their standards is again nothing but confidence building. The losses they took showed them flaws they may have thought otherwise weren't there and now can work on for the next. All around great year for the AB's.
That penalty against Charlie Faumuina in the dying minutes of the second test vs The Lions was ridiculous. The tackler jumped in the air for no reason at the point of contact. What option did Charlie have? Step aside and let him go past? Does the ref not have the foresight to see what a terrible precedent his ruling might have set, going forward? It incentivizes leaping in the air at the point of contact in order to milk a penalty. That refereeing decision played an enormous role in the outcome of the series and was very poor.
i support the box of springs but im gonna say 1 thing As much as i absolutely fucking DESPISE some allblack supporters and even at times strongly dislike the allblacks. I absolutely love the way they play the game, the way they play is so satisfying. the way they do those impossible passes to players in the back line, the way they find ways to make line breaks. sometimes the way they play looks impossible. they make every team look shit and they are always gonna be number 1 for a reason (sadly for me) but the allblacks are something special and every team has hit a bad patch, the allblacks have aswell but they still won their games some how lol. but yeh
That was a completely idiotic pass by the scrum half, who practically set Foley up for annihilation. I cannot fathom how did Foley not end up with a massive concussion. You could see the whiplash from Earth's orbit.
A good foundation year building toward the Japan World Cup nicely thank you lads some quality rugby there keep up the good and give them cocky English a great hiding next Autumn pretty please :-)
Fishman The only cocky dudes out there are the AB's mate ......so unrelentingly boring. The only compensation is when Justin Marshall finally shuts up at the end of a game and I stop yawning. You judge a game by the quality of the opposition. Thrashing another second rate team doesn't really count......but when you see the AB'S all fingers and thumbs you know the opposition is real. Just like bullies at school, they are never actually as good as they think they are. Yes......looking forward to WC, but for possibly different reasons than you. Enjoy 2018, it may be your last for a while......Chur bro.
Merciful Heavens, everyone can run on the All Blacks team. I mean not only have they a fly half who can outrun just about anyone in the world, not only have they a blindside freaking flanker who can actually run, they have to have another one. The ABs are like: "In your face, Rest of the World!" The most dominant national team in any sport. AINEC.
Barret, Brown, McKenzie & Ioane should start in this position on rwc19. They proved theyre the best in that pos, but nz chose to make changes. What a shame.
@Joedagg4 There has been "not so fast but strong" wingers in the Allblacks before. Lomu is a great example for that kind. this dude Ioane is just like that. not so fast but the lad is strong.
That last game against lions was unbelievable that the ref cheated the lions into a draw as the All Blacks were about to goal kick the lions decided to talk the ref out into doing a scrum.
Great team....tons of love and respect for them Should watch their arrogance if they are to remain world's best ! Not saying they are showing it publicly or on the field....just afraid they get the wrong idea of how external componants can also play a part in results
id say this was probably their worst year in ages, lost 3 drawn one?! failed to win the lions tour, very poor for NZ's standards, however they for me, are a level above anyone else, and this video shows it, aboslute class ! :)
My point is that ABs think they're invincible, I was rooting for Scotland to win. No one realistically thought they would come that close. I always back Scotland apart from when they're playing England ofc.
petnzme01 just an honest question man, I’m really interested in this sport. Your comment came off as an insult but switched to a more informative answer so I can’t be angry with you. Cheers
Football72: Looks like you got an angry person responding. If someone loved the game of rugby, I don't know why they wouldn't answer your question to help you out. Anyway… the ball has to be touched to the ground on or over the line and the safest way to do this, even if you've already crossed the line, is to fall on it. Players often just bend over and touch the ball down, but there are occasional examples of players losing control of the ball as they do that. It's rare, but you don't ever want to be that guy, so falling on it is the safest way. Of course you sometimes have to dive at the line to make sure you get there, past or through a defender. And, to be honest, sometimes you don't have to but it looks good and is fun to do. And you can dive on the ball before the line, as long as your natural momentum slides you and the ball over (see Barrett's try at 0:55). I hope that answers your question.
Ben Smith is probably the most consistent 9/10 player in the world, he barely ever makes a wrong decision
Low Powered Training Round Matthews true
Yeah, except when he gets a yellow in the final... lol
fast forward to 2019 and probably the worst full back playing.
MrSupermugen who
@@salemmurray711 considering his contribution in the game, thats nothing.
it was just unfortunate the tackle isnt perfect.
Probably the most humble team in the world. Absolute delight to watch
"Here comes Foley !!! BOOOOM FA HA HA !!!" I have played that part at least 100 times. !!!! :D
I came for copper, but I found Gold XD
16:08 classic
I started playing rugby this year in secondary school and I love it so much😝😝
Great video man, as an Irish fan it's in credible to watch how skillful these guys are!
Aaron Smith biggest hype man out there - love his energy!
Went to watch last game of the season against wales. What a game, what a season. Thank you boys and see you next year.
Great piece of Video Compiling done here..And I'm certainly not the most knowledgeable on Rugby(I tend to follow just the international matches) but even in a less then successful season the NZ AB's will always the benchmark for other countries!
Reiko Ioane has a good future ahead of him in that 11 jersey. Still young
Thank you for putting this up!!!
SA vs NZ, the second test was the best game in ages! They gave everything there, both teams
Thanks for this!
cant believe we drew that lions series
Jordan W lost because SBW can’t play properly
cheating ref thats why
We lost the 2nd because 1/3 of the team was full of new players just getting a run in the All Blacks.
haha ok
Thinking of all the kicks that Barrett missed.
Very well made video it's not like those other ones with stupid music in the background that takes away from the video itself
Wasn’t actually a terrible year. Lions team was one of the best ever and we may not have one the series but we did play some good rugby. Lost two games and had some key players missing.

Nuirueu
Dreams are free. England just got screwed by the Irish, not really the game that makes a great team.
2017 won't really be remembered as a stellar year for the All Blacks, but let's not forget that they handed out two of the greatest arse-whoopings the Wallabies and Springboks have ever received.
Great Vid bro 👍
That Jordy Try v Lions was scintillating..
And that Red Card 2nd Test was the *equaliser*
Wow what a performance of clinical rugby. No current combined global International teams could exceed highlights better than that.
Aussie here - OMFG 57-0 over Sth Africa. We are stuffed in Rugby now... grass roots level is basically non existent and other footy codes x 3 all taken over. You have got to be kidding, that was brilliant.
Great vid and great year
Start can't believe they left Laumape out of the 2019 World Cup. Mr Beast mode guy👊🔥💯✅👌
That switch was pure magic I liken it to rugby heaven
Lion`s series, save for some refereeing, were mind blowing. And that atmosphere at the stadiums... incredible!! Biggest sports entertainment
The last try of the season. A masterpiece.
If sonny bill hadn't done that shoulder charge would have been a different game
I really can't get enough of the last try by Ioane, wow !!! :o
I was the first to think we were going backwards while the rest of the world caught up, but looking back it now. It's been a pretty successful 'building' year. I wish sa's rebuilding was the same as new zealand's
All blacks are hands down the best rugby team under the sun
There is no debate, that the New Zealand All Blacks is without a doubt, THE greatest sporting team of all time.
What about France handball team?
@@aurelienbertrand3277 Wait, they’ve been around for more than 100 years?

5:04 What a brilliant run in there, perfect timing by him.
Thanks for making this.
In future, may I respectfully suggest you sign off AIG All Blacks videos with "Chur" rather than ""Cheers"
Chur bro
Great video mate
best try - retallick vs sa. dude`s a legend already at 26! barrett clearly player of the year
Я начинаю влюбляться в регби. Это очень зрелищно, а игрой All Blacks можно только восхищаться
I accidentally selected a different video during this and screamed
Best moment for me was sealing the Bledisloe in the second game👍
that Sonny Bill hit at 3:20 - i don't know what he was thinking.. must have thought he was Owen Farrell, only he's allowed to do hits like that
sonny bill is always doing dirty hits. Great player but makes rookie mistakes
i support the box of springs but im gonna say 1 thing
As much as i absolutely fucking DESPISE some allblack supporters

Oh my god that tackle on Foley
I was there in the stands. "There's been a murder" is all I could say.
he need sum milk
That was a completely idiotic pass by the scrum half, who practically set Foley up for annihilation. I cannot fathom how did Foley not end up with a massive concussion. You could see the whiplash from Earth's orbit.
Seahawks2014 - SumoRugby i think foley was running a decoy course but Willie just pops it up to him and he died.
Saltass Sky
“He died” LOL, well said. The scrum half killed both the decoy run and the decoy runner with that brotherly pass.
Man the Lions series was made so frustrating by the officiating. Every game taking over two hours.
David Havilli the forgotten AB
That offload at 11:15 was dope!!
Mean vid bro. Tino pai rawa atu cuzzie

The pleasure i get knowing that Reid and Barret will never having "lions series winners" under their belts is undescribable
Fabulous video

What a kick by Hodge. 65m, not too shabby...
Oh my gosh that tackle on foley
16:14 that is one of the best moments of my life
11:16 barrett would have scored that try lol
11:10 check out Barrets acceleration!!!👍
Caleb Mills he is a beast
His first 40 is scary fast... Skosan also has serious wheels.
The TRY at 21:40 is just top top sporting greatness.
Brilliant vid
Barret, Brown, McKenzie & Ioane should start in this position on rwc19.
They proved theyre the best in that pos, but nz chose to make changes.
What a shame.
Spoke with many of my Aussie Union m8ts, even they reckon that that last TMO call was a "still steaming croc of manure".
which tmo calll?
Great vid
Cant believe we had 2 losses this year 😶
Chur bro great video
The only reason lions won against us is because the lions player jumped Into the tackle
This is some brilliant rugby
11:17 BB pass is brilliant
Sbw on Kurtley beale💥
Reiko Ioane had a great season
the name beauden barrett must be a commentator's delight
Wow ioane best player this yr n he's only 20yrs unreal
If only he could get a bit faster with his size, lack a bit of speed.
Joedagg4 what you talking about he is the fastest in the all blacks lol
lol are u stupid , barrot is the fastest all black , for his size rieko isn't that fast.
@Joedagg4 There has been "not so fast but strong" wingers in the Allblacks before. Lomu is a great example for that kind. this dude Ioane is just like that. not so fast but the lad is strong.
16:14 is a great moment
Grant Nisbett was gonna be an all black. He was also gonna be an international cricketer. Basically he was gonna be Jeff Wilson but...
That last game against lions was unbelievable that the ref cheated the lions into a draw as the All Blacks were about to goal kick the lions decided to talk the ref out into doing a scrum.

Meeean Azz gotta keep sonny in at 12 though man
Meeean Azz has JB played at 12 before though?
It’s been a toughening year dish year bauden barrets good as at rugby and ioanie he’s the best too
Should not have draw against the Lions. Should not have lost to Australia. Should have been a perfect season.
Road 35 also lost to the lions. Shouldn't have lost those games but did. Probably shouldn't have won some games but did
Typical All Black whining. It didn't even show the try of the season in the first test by the British and Irish Lions.
Why? Accept defeat and stop crying. Nearly got beat by Scotland lmao
Will Rogers I'm Scottish and we almost beat them. We only have 2 professional team and the SRU are a joke. Lmao? Have a bit of respect!
My point is that ABs think they're invincible, I was rooting for Scotland to win. No one realistically thought they would come that close. I always back Scotland apart from when they're playing England ofc.
For the first try why didn’t SBW just pop it inside to the 13 rather than have to throw a loose pass which luckily Barrett could control on his boot 🙄
NZ shouldve had a shot at a Grand Slam EOYT
Barret has seen that bounce plenty of times before 0:57
Technically the All Blacks won the Lions series cos they scored more
11:10 THE BEST INTERCEPT AND OFFLOAD kiwi for life
Ino I’m very late but can anyone tell why savea got dropped cause he was the star of the 2015 World Cup
What happened?
Watch Aaron Smith at 8:27
My favorite part lol
6:00, Julian Savea dropped Nehe Milner-Skudder
57-0 Wow.
I don't know what wrong with South Africa lately.
Where is the Irish game in Chicago?
Ireland fan but still no idea how NZ didn't beat the lions
Very new to rugby, how come they always dive into the end zone/ slide once they’re in?
petnzme01 just an honest question man, I’m really interested in this sport. Your comment came off as an insult but switched to a more informative answer so I can’t be angry with you. Cheers
petnzme01 once the ball crosses the end zone it’s considered “Crossed the plane” and that’s all it takes to score 6 points in football.
No need to get angry at someone who has never played the sport in their life and is simply interested in the basic rules. It’s just a question
Football72: Looks like you got an angry person responding. If someone loved the game of rugby, I don't know why they wouldn't answer your question to help you out. newremote thank you so much, that clears up every question I had. And in a much kinder manner than the person above.
Good build up heading in toward a 3peat world cup yeyah
Kay Dot Simiki 3peat would make me yeet
Lol...funny looking at this comment now.
i went to the third test match in 2017 bledisloe cup I think first ever all blacks game i went too and they lost lmao
What a farse.ioane should have gotten player of the year, he had a year as good as they get
What was Kaino’s case I don’t get it
Are there more or less concussions in rugby when compared to NFL?
Nowadays there aren't too many, they are very good about prevent head contact
Great vid but where is Liam William's epic run and try by O'Brien????
hey bro, I wanted to use it but rugby pass have put a copyright claim on it.
Harden Up Bro ah no worries. Just wanted to see the moment Read reaslied he over committed :-)
That's why I love watching Read - he knew he got done on that one particular occasion but took it all in good stride. Great humility.
We need julian on one wing and reiko on the other imagine that
Damien McKenzie is fucking sauce
