    I wouldn't be shocked if some increased familiarity with the phonology of the language could be acquired while sleeping.
    _Maybe_
    Not sure how one would test that, though... well, hmm, let's suppose Japanese speakers listened to hours of English while sleeping; you could check to see if their ability to differentiate between the consonants /l/ and /ɹ/ increased after however many hours English exposure during sleep. I guess.
    But _semantics_ ? Nah. That requires _attention._

    For a week now I have played spanish in your sleep vids, in my sleep. I have seen some level of retaining words and pronunciation better, but nothing significant.
