That really says a lot about our society that people say you're brave for showing yourself with no makeup. We shouldn't feel the need to constantly be wearing a full face of makeup. It is absolutely fun to play with and can be a confidence booster, but at the end of the day we're humans with imperfections and we shouldn't feel the need to constantly hide that.

What’s interesting is that there’s this inconsistency with the “love yourself the way you are” being pushed along side a barrage of perfect looking people and an obsession with image.
I don't wear makeup basically all of the time, but when I do its brown eyeshadow and mascara. Makeup feels like a mask, and I want people to see and like me for me, imperfections and everything. (Since I rarely wear it, I'm bad at makeup so another reason I don't wear it lol). When I look at makeup in the store I get overwhelmed by all of the choices so I just end up leaving the aisle. I like watching Tati because I want to be able to do the basics for a special event and she is fun to watch
I feel that if there’s one thing Santa Tati needs to give us for Xmas is a tour video from your beauty room.. like before Xmas. 😍

I love mixing the impossible primer with Elf original poreless putty primer... better than either alone! My other favorite drug store primer is the Hard Candy hydrating primer. It visibly plumps up my skin so nicely with a tacky finish that makes my makeup last. That 4 in 1 perfector is stunning under foundation! Love your videos!
Omg i have both the impossible primer and the elf, i don’t notice anything different about the elf one but I will try mixing both, thank you for the tip

That gel eyeliner was crap!!
The Tula under eye stick is amazing for giving that luminous finish and it feels so nice and cooling. I love it!
It’s crazy someone told you that about wearing makeup before you leave the house as I’m sitting here thinkin it’s so refreshing to see a real natural face out here.
Honestly most women don’t wear makeup. I’ve noticed that. I’ll be the only one wearing any pretty much anywhere I am including work. If others are wearing it it’s very little.
Oh wow I thought that was tatis natural hair!! I love how natural her waves look!! Even though some of the products was a fail, I really enjoyed the end result!! Gorgeous as always. And I think Tati looks gorgeous with and WITHOUT makeup. Ignore those people who say don’t ever leave the house w/o makeup. That’s horse 💩!
You are gorgeous with or without makeup Tati. I swear some people are just terrified of their own faces. I've had friends lash out at me in the past when I stopped putting on makeup as soon as I rolled out of bed because they "just couldn't do something like that". Like how dare I put my hair in a messy bun, throw on some comfy sweats, and skip the makeup to go to freaking walmart or target and not feel ashamed lol.
It's actually one of the Saddest things anyone could ever experience.. Self-Love is definately not based upon your looks! It's So Much more than that. 💖💖💖
That’s crazy! The real world doesn’t care. As an adult I have hardly ever wore makeup, only for like holidays some times, or random family get togethers, but only some. I wore makeup in middle school everyday, and in high school but by the end I’m pretty sure not everyday, maybe mascara, but you realize it’s not that important, especially when running errands. Plus I’ve been with my husband sense 16 so i don’t care about looking good to others, and he likes me without makeup, he likes me with to he just doesn’t like cakey makeup.

For stubborn blushes, bronzers, powder foundation and other things in similar packaging, I use the other side of my tweezers :)) just stick it in and twist, you can put it under like you would with your nails but twist works faster 😉

I am writting in DEFENCE of that Essence mascara I love it, yes its creamy, lookds globby, let it dry a bit, IT WONT IRRITATE your eyes. The brush can get loaded with product, need to use the side of the bottle to get it off. The shape of the brush is great at getting both inner and outter corners. I hated it at first but once it aged, it was beauty. It is in no way water resistant. It comes off easy peasy. I use a curler and this mascara and it looks like I have falsies on. Give it a few tries over the next few weeks Tati!
When I apply I "back comb" if that makes sense, loads the product in, gives volume, then a nice comb out in one go.

@@elleitra3004 hi, I will try to explain it. I 1st start at the root, wiggle the brush in amongst the lashes; I move the brush slightly towards the last tip, then I slowly and slightly wiggle the brush back towards my roots.; once I feel like Ive gotten the product on I slowly work the brush outwards, on an upward angle( I think it provides a bit of lift and can flare the lashes) I hope I made a bit of sense. I do this in one step; no second coat-- At least with THIS particular Essence mascara.

The products were not the best but Tati redeemed the look with her makeup application skills. It's absolutely fine to show yourself without makeup. If anything, some Instagrammers overapply and retouch, which creates unrealistic beauty standards.

I love the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in both the 150 Neutralizer and the 160 Brightener and they are so inexpensive but work SO well. And when I was in my 30's I went everywhere with no makeup on, but now that I'm in my 40's...ain't no way I'm going without it.
I LOVE videos like this. It makes me feel normal. I have days like this, where nothing I do goes quite right. Pet peeve of mine - eye liners that just slide across your waterline without leaving any colour. Or leaving colour on the inner corner part of the waterline, but nothing in the outer end.
Kind of random but related - The It'sSkin YE eye cream is freaking MAGICAL. Not entirely sure why I can get from Bed Bath & Beyond, of all places, but it's been game changing for my undereye. I have dry skin and am 40. It's also ridiculously reasonable at $14.99

I think that's a good idea, lol.
She didn't even give it a good try if that makes you feel better. My palette is perfectly fine, you have to apply the glitters wet but that's my only "issue" with it. The dark colors blend well, she just overreacted to the swatch which is what I did the first time I was swatching it. Give it a try before ditching it!

That hairstyle is absolutely adorable on you! My hair has become naturally wavy as I've entered my late 30's. It's so weird for me because it has always been straight as an arrow. Maybe this style could work for my "new" hair...

The Maybelline 4 in 1 is great as a primer on the highpoints of your face. Lovely texture and not too heavy under foundation/cc creams. Gives a slight blurring/brightening effect.

I've heard the Maybelline 4-in-1 is a Charlotte Tilburry flawless filter dupe. Wear it under your foundation to give a glow and a boost of coverage. You still look beautiful even with a rough makeup day! 💗
The shimmers on the Catrice palette is best when applied with your fingers. I have the warmer palette and I like it.
My favourite lip balm is the O'Keefes cooling relief lip repair. I use it as a night mask as well as during the day. Nothing works as well for me.

That Catrice palette is one of my favorite go to palettes 🙈 it’s better than a couple of my higher end palettes. Probably also a matter of taste. The end result still looks really nice, though. And telling someone they shouldn’t leave the house without Make-up on is just plain rude.

As for today's makeup...overall, I like it a lot. It's a sort of '90s look with the crimped hair, vivid eyeliner, and shiny gloss. It's youthful, lighthearted and flattering. :-) Also the bit about real life trolling was HILARIOUS!
