Same! I’ve been a Tati follower for like 7+ years. When she left I felt like I had lost a family member lol. I’ve never been concerned with celebs before, but I legit had nights where I wouldn’t be able to sleep because I was worried about whether she was alright 😂 It’s crazy how much someone can impact our lives so much.

Bruna Tavares 😍😍😍 She developed a foundation with 30 shades. The greatest amount of tones in a Brazilian brand. A big change in the makeup market especially for dark skin that has few national options here. She studied Brazilian diversity and revolutionized the way that colors are divided. In addition to other very good products (lipsticks and liquid eyeshadow are highlights as well). Love that you tried her products!

I was thrown off when I tried to pick out a shade of Candid concealer by Revlon. Another BeautyTuber loves it. As typically presented the light shades were to the left on the shelf with the dark shades on the right. STOP. There was Creme Brûlée in the dark section but it looked light. I couldn’t settle on a shade as a result, but really I didn’t buy it because I prefer base products with SPF. That way after three hours I can touch up my concealer, my foundation, my lipstick with the product which includes the SPF. I for one thought I had SPF by just wearing makeup, but now we know there’re multiple types of rays. Those that tan and those that age. I’ll be sticking with the Physician’s Formula concealer with SPF. Concealer selection with SPF is limited. But if I’m doing retinol, I’m doing SPF like a religion.

@@Taravat76 Her cream blush is the best thing I've ever used, and I would say that even if I weren't biased. I am a super Lisa fan, tho. :D But she's a famous (amazing) makeup artist, so some of the pricetag is for her name.

I don't think you missed out on much. I got it as a gift and it is falling apart. Foundation is hard to get off it. The mini one is better than the large one she used in the video. If you are looking for a good foundation applicator that's budget friendly - elfs face sponge is great!

I'm so happy to see Bruna Tavares! Here is Brazil is not a high end make up, actually this brand try to offer here high end quality with the lowest price possible. There is in Brazil a ridiculous high taxes and with the crisis as well, is really hard to buy some brands. Everything that comes to Sephora as imported brand is so expensive!! Much more expensive than it cost in EUA or CA. I'm really happy to see Bruna tavares here, she deserves!

My absolute holy grail concealer is the YSL liquid one. It’s super lightweight and never creases or gets into my lines. Also hydrating which is a huge thing for me!!

i’ve been loving the rare beauty concealer lately! it’s natural and gives the most beautiful radiance. it’s not full coverage by any means so if i’m breaking out it’s not my go to, but for the every day natural makeup look it is my faveeee!!!
Do you think it’s worth the pain or versus drugstore?
@@Taravat76 sorry just seeing this! It’s $25CAD which in my opinion is fairly affordable for higher end makeup. I also find it lasts a long time, so in my opinion it’s worth it. Selena has also designed the packaging to make it easier to open if you have arthritis, which I do, so I really appreciate the thought that went into it!
I’ve been watching you for about 9 years now, I found you in 2013 and have never looked back. You’ve gotten me through so much, including today- I have a bad flu, but it helps to not concentrate on the bad. You are always fun to watch, no matter the content.

I love that I got to watch before going to university! 🥰 Made my day! Thank you, Tati!!! Also favourite concealer right now is the "Florence By Mills See You Never Concealer". I am trying to keep the foundation/ concealer very light on my skin as it is being a bit problematic. The "Like a Light Skin Tint" by Florence is also a current fave.

I don't know if I'm the only one but whenever I put on my makeup now, I get in my head "what would Tati do" 🤣🤣🤣 my makeup has gotten so much better to the point where people at my church (Hillsong, so keep in mind the auditorium is DARK) people were complimenting me on my eyeshadow and my highlight and all that 🤣🤣
I use only drugstore makeup, mostly catrice, essence, loreal and maybelline. It took me a while to find what I like but it works!
Only my foundation is by nyx, loreal has the best mascaras, maybelline awesome lip products, I love catrice concealer, bronzer and highlighter and essence just wins with eyeliner and eye pencils. Eyeshadow is all over the place but my favorite is the gold palette by pro revolution, just **cheff’s kiss**

You should try Essence Lash Princess mascara 🙃 it's amazing! (the mint coloured one)

I'm so happy you tested Bruna Tavares. Is such an amazing brand! She has other 2 primers on this line (peach is blurring and lavander is glowy), her foundation is beautiful and the liquid blushes (BT Plush) are a dream. I also love the cream eyeshadows called BT Velvet.

I love the ELF eye brightening concealer - the one that comes in a little clicker pen! It’s not full coverage at all but I have dark circles but also dry under eyes and the medium shade has a great peachy undertone that covers the darkness and is super hydrating! Love wearing it without any other face makeup too.
Elf makes probably the best peachy undertones (for dark circles) ever. And like other weird niche indie brands. Winky lux has an amazing under eye concealer that I’ve used for YEARS! It’s the bomb
