Emissions regulation is most beneficial in dense urban environments. The aim is to reduce the effects of exhaust particulates for people who live in places like this, and it’s proven to reduce pollution related health issues. But unfortunately there can’t be different regulations for city/non-city environments because that wouldn’t be enforceable. So, the whole country has to deal with these regulations as a result. As for jet emissions, I don’t think that’s a good argument in this regard.
Gotta keep the slaves distracted and inline. But I do agree with cleaning the air up for daily drivers, it's dumb for sports cars that barely ever get driven
