I think my favorite thing on UA-cam is when Harry pulls out the paper map at the hotel to show us the route for the day. Something so cozy about it.
Agree and pointing out you want to drive the D478 or something like that
Love that old school approach - certainly more interesting than pulling up something on a phone.
Reminds us of those memories of touring in the 80’s and 90’s when the map was the only accurate way to guide yourself through unknown places.
The Michelin maps in particular provoke fond memories of driving through France 😊

Count me in as one of your viewers who really loves the road trip videos. It's fun to see you enjoy, and review, classic and exotic cars in beautiful locations and on entertaining mountain roads! But, as others have said, the variety of content on here also keeps things fun and fresh. 🎉
I guess there’s no figuring what people will like. I liked the Italian Lambo QV series - and watched them all.
Last June I even drove a part of the route in spain he drove on (Was driving to and then from Cuenca down to Malaga). Always good to see some good places/roads and tips to plan your own trip :)

I think it's a slippery slope when UA-cam creators start producing content that's primarily aimed at pleasing the algorithm and follow the analytics a bit too closely. Thank you for your content Harry and Happy New Year 2025.

I watch a lot more stuff on UA-cam these days than I do on TV and Harry's Garage at 5:00pm on a Sunday afternoon is the highlight of my week. Keep up the great work Harry, cheers!

Please don't stop making the roadtrip and concord videos. Its such a great escape and motivator for me and my wife.
The serious analytic videos are popular because you are a trusted authority reporting in a calm factual way, rather than thr rather hysterical approach of some..
I loved the Countach and Sand Raiders videos. I'm not a bike guy (aside from bicycles) but it's still amazing and interesting to see that journey. Just keep doing what you enjoy and love. This is why people watch your channel. You've got a sense of honesty and non-sensationalism compared to so many other UA-cam channels. It's nice to see an adult style presentation without some kid shouting at the camera or creating click-bait title screens. ;-)
Yeah, i liked them too. I hope Harry doesn't over-analyse the stats and stop filming those types of vids.
Not a bike guy as well, but got me looking at a tenere or a xt660 for shits and giggles. Quite literally out of how fun the whole affair looked, as well as the pyrenees trip.

Yea I hope he keeps doing those, I have never ridden a bike and probably never will but those videos are just so fun to watch. A sense of adventure which is at the same time exciting also really calming, atleast for me. I think the sandraider videos have a smaller but a very commited following

Well, the Lambo tour of Italy and visiting Feruccio's old farm was my absolute favourite. It's a shame that more didn't enjoy it.

Lamborghini customers now would not be seen dead in a Jalpa or Countach because even though they are iconic to us they are not the latest trick.
Wow - I loved the Countach revisiting Ferrucio's vineyard. Shocking to see it so low - maybe there was some other global event happening which distracted people. US election or something? Happy New Year!

Harry has the best motoring channel by a Black Countrymile,the most likeable journalist on UA-cam, it must be absolutely horrendous to be this bloody popular…. Luckily I don’t have any such problems!

I think Harry appeals to older and more conservative car enthusiasts but there are a whole generation of us that would consider the videos extremely boring

I have lost count of how many times I’ve re-watched the RR Shadow arctic trip you did a few years ago! For me, that is still the best road trip you did since you’ve started the channel 👍

Harry, my favorite video of yours in 2024 was the Lamborghini trip, despite what youtube stats say. You did an amazing tribute to Ferruccio.

That Lamborghini series was great! Very beautiful scenery and very educational in terms of learning more about the life and times of Ferrucio Lamborghini.
The list of the best and worst videos is really depressing.
The best videos all have a negative connotation (back to diesel, BMW i5, ...), while the worst videos are the ones with the most positive sentiment (holidays, engine restoration, ...).
It's a real shame that the algorithm and the viewers tend more towards bad moods and rants.

Living in Luxembourg, a small country not in your statistics, I have been following Harry's Garage for years and for my part I love restoration videos like the Lancia Zagato, the 500 Abarth, the reviews at Tyrrel or others garage. What is also very good for a non-native English speaker like me is that your English is easy to understand
Please, please, Harry, don't change what you do. This is my favourite show to watch on any platform. Sandraiders is amazing!! The trip to the winery was so interesting. Just do what you like to do. You're extremely knowledgeable and entertaining, and because you do what you love doing, it comes through on the camera. Best of luck in 2025!
The Italy tour was one of my favorites this year too.
I without fail watch all Harry’s videos. He’s so easy to watch and I agree with him on many of his points. I once bumped into him in Burford and he’s just as nice in person
Awesome figures but cannot figure out why the're not at least double. No mention of demographics, which I suspect would be 35+. I'm 70 and never miss a video and watch most of them a few times throughout the year.
Best quality of Harry's
videos is the complete impartiality. No bs or pandering to the manufacturers. Top channel for me.

My favourite UA-cam car channel. Really surprised only 762k followers. Much more entertaining and provides a wider range of car related topics than other car channels. The road trips are the best.
I know the tours don't always perform the best but please never stop making them. I absolutely adore them :)
The rants get most views because people focus on negativity, that is the human psychology. Many people a exploiting this on UA-cam to get more views. Clickbait thumbnails are either sexual or some disasters, catastrophes etc. Personally I enjoy watching the road trips and the restorations blogs.

I wish that weren't true call my butt it is. I suppose I am abnormal because I've stopped watching at least three of my favorite Automotive channels when they started ranting every video
@ Same here or some stupidity, same content “hey guys I spent 300k on this wreck” then begging for money or crying about UA-cam not paying.. having a minuscule channel the views in general are down. the audience is tuning out in many places on big channels. Same content across multiple channels do that
Agree with this. Pretty certain this is a factor. Real shame these algorithms boost videos that rile people up.
It shows you the absolute quality delivered that all five of the least watched videos are still blooming great.

I loved the countach videos. Sometimes the algorithm doesn’t help if it doesn’t show up on people’s feeds! Your videos are always an entertaining watch no matter what it involves.
Don’t get disappointed by only the lower number if views: 1) it still is a lot of people you entertain and inform 2) the variety and quality of content makes this a terrific channel.

Countach road trip was fab, 17:00 on a Sunday means Harry's Garage - just keep doing what you're doing, you've brought the early days of EVO to UA-cam and long may it continue.
The videos of yours that I absolutely watch every time are your weekly reviews (because I highly value your opinions) and your auction previews (because it feels like walking around a car show with a friend). Out of all the car content I consume on YT, yours has the most structure and consistency. I’lI always love anything Chris Harris, Jethro Bovingdon, and Henry Catchpole do, but I appreciate that your channel is 100% done by you.
For me it's the variety of different video themes that make me sit down at 7pm every Sunday night to watch.
We Dutchies seem to love you, Harry! Almost as many views as the Germans, but we have far less inhabitants. So please come to Holland and drive a Donkervoort. Not as, but almost as interesting as GMA. And their second company which makes very special carbon fibre is very interesting too.
I find it hard to believe that Sandraiders was the least popular! I always look forward to watching that adventure every year and it's become a personal life goal to participate. I personally loved the Countach Tuscany videos. I actually just planned a vacation for the wife and I to follow the Mille Miglia based partly on that series and partly on the Mille Miglia series that you did in the Alfa. Staying at the same agriturismo and everything. Can’t wait. Love the videos. Love the fact based reporting and hours of research you clearly put in. I think the decrease in viewing for the Cayenne video shows that it isn't the SUVs that we like, but the story the video tells. PHEV vs diesel is a very relevant discussion for lots of people even if the particular model chosen is out of reach for many, and taking the Defender for a roadtrip is again an interesting story vs comparing 3 heavy SUVs that the vast majority of us won't drive.

This year you have inspired me to actually take my Gallardo with a Michelin Road Map to do a long roadtrip (to the Factory and the Italian Motoring Region) and it was by far the best road trip so far. I think the ‘state of the market/technology’ videos do do well because you allow yourself a few minutes to develop your thinking and have a nuanced understanding of what’s going on. I bet if UA-cam could show it, a lot of those views were linked-in from other ig or fb users saying, ”have a look at this”.

Harry, I also found the lak of interest in the Countach trip to Italy disappointing. I am a couple of years older than you but also, as a teenager, had a poster of a Countach and a Testa Rossa in my bedroom; plus posters of Emerson in his Lotus 72 and Jackie in his Tyrrell 003. The Lambo history was very interesting and the views of the Val d'Orcia just stunning. It was nice to revisit the scenery as we visited that area of Tuscany from Vancouver Island in September 2024. Your channel and Ian Tyrrell's are most definately my favorites. Bravo!

I disagree with the SUV remark. The L322 video is popular because of Jeremy, the Diesel, Phev, EV video is popular because of the theme, if you would talk about big sedans or estates it would do the same. Calling defender SUV is a bit of understatement, that car still has offroad cred, which most SUVs don't and G wagon lost.
May well be the best car channel around!
