beautiful! getting ready to start my loc journey. I have low density hair as well. Do you feel wider parts are better for low density hair?

Congratulations 🎉 on starting your journey. I would say do a trial of your hair in comb coils or two strand to get an idea of how your hair will lay with small or medium parts if possible. If not- start off with the smaller size parts because you can always combine them as you see fit. It’s harder to go smaller when you start of large. I hope this helps and thanks for watching 💜

I have the same hair texture.. I'm sad when I wash it.. Because its not as thick when its old

This is true. Over the years I’ve added less products after I wash so my roots can look thicker but they feel lighter. 💜
