Мужиков в косухах и с длинными волосами я уважал и уважаю всю жизнь - не знаю почему! Наверное потому что люблю рок-музыку. Во времена СССР я не знал как выглядит этот мужик но песни его я прекрасно помню - они были очень популярны у нас, его мощнейший голос не мог оставлять равнодушным! И вот наконец-то мы все увидели его - этого красавца в рокерской косухе и с длинными смоляными волосами - он просто икона для меня, поп-идол!!!!!!!! Спасибо тебе Пит Бернс что ты был!

It's kinda of sad, I wonder if Pete really knew how amazing he was and how beautiful as well. Incredible voice, huge stage presence, and so unique in style. This is truly what the 80's was, and he owned it. Such lost talent, miss you Pete. Thanks for the gift of music you were such a huge part of my life, dance clubs will never be the same!

I met him once and he told me he really like the pyrotech 💥 explosion that they did at this concert. Lotsa, fun!!! He said.
I love the fact that Pete did his own dance moves and he was himself he was a beautiful person
I made Petes outfit for this show. Stretch purple sequin trousers, all seams had to be bound on the inside otherwise would have been very scratchy to wear. The stretch satin top was made like a swimsuit to keep it tight, on reflection I should have made it tighter. Love this look, love Pete.

Pete was Amazing, I wish he would stayed the way he looked. He was Beautiful! Loved his music. He really didn't need all those operations. He had such a stage presence, great voice, and unique style.

I was privileged to see you live in Puerto Rico during the album Mad, Bad and Dangerous to Know.
My life was also changed ever since I saw Pete on 📺 t.v.for first time.When I saw Peter for first time i say to myself I want to be him but it wasnt me wanting to be Pete as much as his direct message to me telling i can be who i want to be not turn into what others want me to be or follow trends abd blend in. Stick out!.
So to be that clear in life and be passionate about it, takes a lot of courage and because of Pete's courage in telling the world this is who I am and I don't care what anyone thinks I found support to develop the courage myself to be myself and never ever belittle my person by explaining myself to nobody.

Yo fui al segundo, el de 1997 cuando estaba promocionando el disco Nukleopatra. Buen show a pesar que a mitad entre canciones se fue y no quizo cantar mas porque la gente le estaba fumando en la area de arena de la tarima

У меня в школе в 1989м была сто раз перезаписанная кассета с их альбомом Nude, который почему то выдавали за альбом Мадонны. Про Dead or Alive в СССР никто не слышал. Если бы мы увидели тогда Пита, то нам бы снесло крышу.

Oh my Dear Sweet Pete! I knew he was an amazing singer, but his dancing is sublime as well. Pete did everything on his own terms. This is one of the greatest performances I have ever seen.

Spin me round definitely brings back some of the funnest times in my life. I was at the age where I was just old enough to get into the clubs and I remember this song coming on grabbing whoever was in reach didn't matter if I knew them or not and pulling them onto the Dance Floor. It was always absolutely packed. And these were the days when the club dance floors were enormous. Everyone singing along and spinning round. Bless your heart Pete so glad to know you're at peace. Thank you for all the amazing memories.

El gran Pete Burns tenía un estilo único que lo diferenciaba de otros artistas de los años 80s, un look extravagante y muy llamativo que combinaban perfectamente con las canciones de Dead or Alive . Merece mucho más reconocimiento y ser conocido por las nuevas generaciones

I just came across this concert of dead or alive, man he has just a great voice and talent. I would have gone to all of his concerts. Rest in HEAVEN MR. BURNS , IAM SO SURE THAT YOU ARE MISSED.
What a shame that he spent decades on changing his looks instead of making new albums. I (and just about anybody) would be happier if he left his looks the way they were originally and came out with tons of new music instead. His voice and his music were the greatest but we just have to listen to the same songs over and over again while every time we see a different person singing it.
I just like to LISTEN to his songs, that way i can imagine him the way he used to be in the 80's. RIP Pete!

you did , he is not live for quite a significant amount of it, listen to you spin me, you can hear his live voice coming in at the end but its buried in the mix for most of it. You can see him move the mic closer and stop dancing as he actually starts to sing properly at about 22.00
A good portion of this is lip synching/playback.
Thank the lord we have memories of this amazing human being 😢🙏🥰🔥
