She's def the boss of the house. I live with my hubby and 2 grown sons and none of them wanted a dog after our Labrador,Jake, passed away. But you want to see them now! Big lumps of mush!😂😂😂 She's everything. 💜💜💜
Kids get bored after awhile and parents are too tired to care because they have to raise the kids. So that dog, cat, rabbit, bird, or hamster has to endure years of abuse and neglect because parents want to get a pet for their kids. That won't teach your kid responsibility, it's just getting a live toy for them. Good luck to that poor puppy. I hope the parents are willing to teach their kids to treat that puppy with respect and actually take care of it, train it, and have a crap ton of patience. Having a pet is work and not always fun and games. They're part of your family. Both my dogs came from families with kids. The first was only 6 months when I adopted her and she had 2 previous owners with kids. My dog now was badly abused and abandoned. He came from a family with kids too. He has stab wounds from his previous owners.

I hate seeing pets given as gifts. Unless you have been planning on getting the pet,you dont give pets as gifts because that is 60% of the problem as far as them being abandoned,neglected, brought to shelters, given away to people that dont mean any good.. (fighting/breading) and driven out to nowhere and left to fend for itself. It's so so so and horrible but it's TRUE. When they realize how much work it is or the kid just stops taking care of it.which WILL happen or it's not a (cute puppy) any longer. I see it all the time.. by the way pls dont shop,Adopt.
