One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen built in the game. Even better, a palette of sandstone, diorite, andesite and stone makes it appealing to every survival player out there. The details and realism are insane on this build, especially the gardens. Masterpiece
Im really impressed by this level of building knowledge, being able to mix a palette of block so diverse together so nicely is truly a challenge. The feels in this video are also on point ❤
Absolutely amazing. As a french, I visited the Chateaux de la Loire quite a few times, and I can attest that your build look very similar to those, all while being something that I’ve never seen on its own. It’s your castle, and you can be proud of it !
This is just incredible I cannot believe how good builders are now. Edit: I’m also really shocked that world edit was not used that often in this build. Most builders use it a lot
I will admit, the window design is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Unfortunate, really, that's it's entirely impossible to replicate in survival, given the need for iron trap doors to be powered.
Yeah, it would be tricky in survival, unless you were willing to sacrifice the look on the interior by putting switched levers on the inside wall. Kind of like in our Victorian house tutorial.
hello, im french and this looks cool to see the castle that I visit just too many times with school lol, you do it very well, in reality, he is grey, but it's even better with colors!! good job, vous avez fait du bon travail!
This is marvelous! Im turning a woodland mansion into a french style chateau although Im building it in a way Versailles was built. By keeping the original structure as the center, Im simply building around, above, and behind it to turn it into a palacial mansion that even the Astors and Vanderbilts (two of the richest families during the Gilded Age) would envy. Although mine still looks like the woodland mansion and Im staying true to the block palette and shapes used but the interiors have been changed to make it be more of a palace with more lights and more open ballrooms.
at first i thought it was just Chenonceau but with too many liberties but i read the description and i see the references of other castle in your build very beautiful
Currently building a modded creative fantasy world with its own lore, hugely inspired by the elder scrolls, and this is brilliant inspiration for my plans to build a sort of university crossed between the college of winterhold and Garreg Mach monastery from fire emblem.
you could make an iron farm. even some of the less efficient designs will give you at least half a double chest of iron after an overnight afk session :)
amazing build but it’s a chateau not a palace. Having been there (absolutely amazing) you captured some of the most minute details, besides skipping out on some of the wooded areas and the animal towards the side, as well as skipping my favorite part, the bush maze! Would have been cool to make the breathtaking road leading up yo the chateau, as well as the maze, but overall amazing build. Also don’t forget the interior😉.
I love the use of different dirt paterns in the gardens and the detailed quoins. Also how do you prevent the blocks you edited with the debug stick from reverting to their previous states when copying them with worldedit?
Hey, glad ya liked it! Thanks so much 🍻 If copy-pasting something that's debugged, it should usually stay in its original form so long as one of the debugged blocks isn't updated (ex. a block is placed next to it that would change its directional state). For this vid, we actually had to re-paste a lot of the debugged bits after they accidentally got updated, but it's so fast it's hard to see... 🤫 Hope that explains it!
Really cool build, my only criticism is that there’s no interior. I think in 5 years time all the truly great builds will have intricate and beautiful interiors too
Thanks! And, that's fair enough point. For us, it mostly due to time restraints that we mostly only do interiors for builds that are standalone buildings (ex. mountain cabin, modern mansion), where we can spend the time focusing on the little details bc the exterior doesn't take as long to showcase. Otherwise, we tend to let the exteriors/landscape shine on bigger projects 😁
This build was inspired by Château de Chenonceau, Château de Blois, and Château de Villandry. If you ever wonder what we use as inspiration for one of our other builds, we usually put them in the description.

Hate to break it to you buddy but a lot of the detailing is done with the debit stick, a creative mode only item.
@@lukel.6582 the debug* stick can be gotten through cheats, which can be done in survival. It's not exclusive to creative mode.
@@TomBruhh ummmmmmm actually ummm
@@TomBruhh You can only use the debit stick whilst in creative.
A beautiful and a very inspiring combination between Chenonceau, Maintenon and other Chateaux de la Loire
I'm so lucky to have seen the chateau de la Loire! The extension onto the water is a beautiful art gallery with some absolutely stunning views.
@@maximussy738 Quite right , the gardens remind me of those of Villandry
Completely stunning!! I'm glad this one took off, you absolutely deserve recognition for your fantastic and elegant builds!
That's great ! we recognize the inspiration from Chenonceau castle !
Inspiration? It’s literally it. Smart skipping out on the tower out front though.
Im really impressed by this level of building knowledge, being able to mix a palette of block so diverse together so nicely is truly a challenge. The feels in this video are also on point ❤
Lovely idea and great execution! The use of debugged walls and trapdoors has me very jealous as a survival player.

ah, toi aussi t'es francais!
You really got the grasp of our châteaux. I live in the Loire Valley and this build is stunning of realism. Good job.
A true french Castle! Magnifique et très belle réalisation, bravo 👏👏👏
Really stunning. Might have to steal some of these techniques. 👌
This place is breathtaking. I especially love the gardens.
We're glad you liked them! Cheers 🍻

what a good build ! You've perfectly recreated that french vibe that makes these castles special. love it so much !
You perfectly captured the details of the real castles. I love it!
Not a castle, chateau. Not for defense
This must be a record. 1 video watched and I'm subscribing. Absolutely stunning build. Quelle beauté.
It looks stunning! And also I really love the calm music in the background!
Good damm how beautiful ❤️❤️
This is the greatest build I ever seen😮

p.s: good choice on the timelapse music too 👍
Very inspirational!
Nice Build...I myself was there only days ago, and you fully captured the look...
It looks gorgeous
So well researched and beautifully executed. A magnificent achievement!
Thank you so much!
SO COOL 🤩
nice one
and lovely choice on the music too
Great built ! Thanks for that 😁😉

Fantastic!

How do you change fences to pillars (if that's the right name) at 0:17 when you make the door?
Set the wall to a different state where it's extending outward---you can do it with the debugstick or WorldEdit with Java version
@@FikiAndBiki Oh, thanks for the tip. I thought this was survival-friendly. Guess I'll have to make some design choices then :D
nice one lads
Cool bro i like that.
this is more beautiful because this a real castle. This is the castle of Chenonceaux. i’m french and i’ve visit it.
toi aussi t est francais!
ouais@@NlN0X
bravo !!!
ohh it's the chateau de Chenonceau
Dam this is absolutely beautiful. Really wished there was a tutorial it would fit great in my worlds theme
Magnificent! Will there ever be a world download?
This looks so good! Can you make a tutorial for that?
Well done
so cool
Beautiful 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Instant sub!
bonjour bien joué ça pourrait vraiment être dans mon pays ta création.
This is just incredible. I’m getting a lot of inspo from this for my survival world. Minus the iron trap doors most likely (gorg but expensive)😅
a lot of the walls (roof accents and railings) can't be done in survival (debug stick can change block states).
Iron farm
you could make an iron farm. even some of the less efficient designs will give you at least half a double chest of iron after an overnight afk session :)

Yeah I’m French
nice!
I fucking love you you made me cry
its really stunning and i really want to build it in my surival world. Do u have al litematica file or a world download for me?
Wow it look awesome ! Can we download it for private use ?
New sub you build so pretty!
Beautiful build my friend, I was wondering if you could tell us what texture pack you used?
This is so nice. Could i maybe get a download because i am in love with the trees.
hi mate, by chance do you have the saved game of this construction? it's just beautiful.
Can you build the interior for this?
its so pretty I wish you gave us the schematic
Wooooow
Great work!
How do you activate iron trapdoors (make it vertical) without redstone?
WorldEdit or Debugstick
so when will the interior will be finished?
What’s the music at 1:15 please.
This build is so incredible
Thank you so much!
The song is "Happy Place" by Alexander Nakarada --- We credit used music in the description too 😁
Pourquoi on peu pas dl la map ? Ta fait un beau truc c’est cool mais partages un peu

I want to have that on my minecraft world…
I wish you left a link to the map, I want to build this on the server so bad
how can i learn to build like that

@@FikiAndBiki that’s completely fair, I enjoyed the highly varied but subdued block palate for this build
Did you use a tree pack through world painter? If so could u point me towards it?
Sorry, no pack to link. We make our own trees and apply them with WP the same way, tho 😁
it's the castle of chenonceau, 2 hours from my house 😁
Wow! We're envious you get to be so close to such awesome architecture all the time! Would love to visit there one day 😁
