I prefer reassure you saying that I know that nor Asia neither Africa are countries but continents x). I have a lot of respect for these cultures. Actually, I'm really interested in all the histories, languages and cultures that aren't taught well in my country (France).
This build is amazing! I imagine the planning of the layout of the build took no less effort than the crazy amount of details going into every part of this build.
Brilliant. I have a few gravel/stone island just outside my base. I converted the largest into a cherry grove with a pagoda, this video gave me inspiration on how to incorporate the smaller islands around it
Superb quality! This also really helps, I've been stopping and starting an Asian themed castle for literally the last 5 years, getting hung up on how detailed it needs to be. This video, along with being wonderfully made, helps me to relax and go with the flow more when building.
This is Based off The Legendary Palace of Osaka it even has the same levels and design it looks almost identical well done this build is done perfectly

I keep following bigger tutorials and this one would be biggest. So please make it a tutorial! A map download wouldnt help me as im on bedrock. Is there a way to see from up above straight down to see the layout of the compound?

Awesome Build! How did you make the single unconnected corner stairs? And what is the layer inside above the windows that looks like 2x spruce trapdoors from the side? Cheers!
We used the debugstick to set a single stair to its corner state, can also use WorldEdit to do the same. If you're talking about what's visible at 1:13: it is doubled trapdoors on the outline above the windows, and the ceiling is made of alternating rows of spruce slabs and trapdoors within a grid of stripped spruce. Hope that helps/makes sense!
We are planning a tutorial (just with a much smaller scope) that shows some of the techniques that go into making our Japanese castle buildings! Can't say when it will drop, tho, since we have an important project up next 👀

Thanks so much! But, yeah, the artist who makes the songs we use seems to like those chimes for their Japanese tunes. 😆 Wish there were more easily-accessible free/no-copyright music in Asian styles, but maybe we're looking in the wrong places. Haha

Ok, one thing I gotta know is how in the world you got those corner stairs on the tips of the roof to stay cornered. Because this is awesome and it looks so good! Amazing build all around as well, so much inspiration!
Debugstick or WorldEdit will allow you to select or set the stair's shape to an inner corner state! It's our favorite little "hack" for the corners of our East Asian buildings 😆
