Thank you for watching this video! I had a tonne of fun making it and fantastic to see so many of you are enjoying watching it back! I would love to do some more country house builds in the future so if you have one you would like to see me tackle drop me a comment with it in! Also, let me know which part of the estate was your favourite?
I'd like to see Blair Castle, but with a little bit of your own flair if you don't mind. I think you'd absolutely nail that build. Seems right up your alley. Also, my favorite part of this build has got to be the first kitchen garden. The glass roofed greenhouses built in to the side of the kitchen walls were beautiful. Heck, the entire estate is beautiful. And just for redundancy, is there a world download?
It does look a bit like marble. It would be cool if there's some diorite statues to craft and place as decoration. For example, a creeper head surrounded by Diorite would make a creeper statue, the dragon head would be the Ender dragon, and so on.
Amazing build buddy, I have to say i've seen so many people attempt this style and in most cases they add so much detail that it looks unrealistic and becomes more like a jumble of blocks, however everything you build creates a simple but very effect look, It's simple but enough detail that looks much more realistic than any others that i've seen, amazing work. I've been practising the style on and off for a while now and think i'm finally starting the get a feel for it, I've built tons of medieval stuff but I found this style harder to adapt to. Keep up the great work buddy 👍
Thank you mate! I try my best to keep all the correct proportions and key details in the build to maintain that realistic look but still try to add that Minecraft touch to it. What I find is that simplicity is the goal with Georgian architecture, let the shape and uniform structure make up for the lack of detail
Exactly so many minecrafters think adding dozens of half slabs, upside down stairs etc makes it more detailed when in reality it just makes the opposite.
This video made me want to: A.) Create on Minecraft til I die. B.) Never create on Minecraft ever again. C.) Visit this location in real life. D.) All of the above.
I'm kinda a 18th century enthusiast! So this is wonderful! Great to see people building like this in Minecraft. Just goes to show that that kind of splendour hasn't died out yet!!
This is absolutely amazing! The amount of hours for planning and building really show, the dedication is so admirable. You’ve gained a new subscriber haha.
You have absolutely smashed it out of the park with this one mate, you nailed the look of those walled gardens and the house is lovely, cracking video mate, keep up the great work!
I love your videos and the style you build in! My friends sometimes criticise me for liking old buildings and they don’t see the beauty in these old structures. We must ensure that this style of architecture never goes extinct and you are doing a bloody good job of preserving this side of history! Again, I love your channel and these are just the kind of building that I love, keep up the amazing work!
What a brilliant build! I really appreciated the historical information as well. :) The walled gardens with those lovely greenhouses were my favourite, but I also loved the basement areas. I really like intricate, maze-like interiors.
I myself am addicted to the Conquest Reforged modpack, but it's very enlightening and cool to see what someone can build with the vanilla minecraft. I really love historical buildings, so you kinda get me inspired.
This is amazing. I'm a Minecraft noob, so just doing a simple, 2-story brick home has been a challenge for me. Making a massive estate like this is just awesome, but beyond my capacities.
I've watched many Minecraft builds on UA-cam, but this without a shadow of a doubt is the most impressive. As an ex Dorset resident I'm familiar with the house and this really captures it's beauty. Hat's off to you sir.
I’d fallen in love with this particular style of architecture when i was in elementary(5-8th grade) and have always dreamed of owning one of these gorgous estates if i ever struck it big. Cheers WBC for sharing this with us and the history lesson on its irl counterpart.
Not only does this project show off the potential of what you can do with Minecraft on an almost 1:1 scale, but it really showcases the elegance as well as simplicity of the Georgian architectural era. Incredible. Stellar channel with some really amazing builds, and I love the history and focus on the Edwardian / Victorian style. Easily the best videos on realistic Minecraft builds I've ever seen. Are you familiar with the Biltmore house in the US? This was the "little country home" of the obscenely trustfunded grandson of a robber baron in the Gilded Age of America who essentially built his own Palace of Versailles. I used to live in Asheville and bought the season pass one year--totally worth it, at least back in 2005 - 06. The house was incredible in January when I practically had it to myself. My favorite part was the winter garden alongside the main entry hall and the adjoining grand dining room. Recreating that architectural structure, not to mention the grounds landscaped by Frederick Law Olmstead, would be no short order.
"I came locking for cooper and found gold" - I saw a few pictures of only the main house on Instagram a couple days ago and when this came up in my yt feed, I thought it´s only a Timelapse of the "maid up" Building. To find out how much more this is was amazing, love your dedication to the details and history of this build
Phase one of your gate house is in my survival world it will lead up a terraced hill to the stables and gardens then up to the mansion. Love this build
Fantastic build! Love the walled gardens. Did you know that in the 1700s, well to do people could go round and do tours of stately homes? They arranged them privately with the owners. And you should definitely do an interior!!! See you in another 5 years xD
Underrated builder! you should get more subs. Also please continue the series of from bricks to blocks. Preety good one, also try make some castles with this method :)
I would love some videos about greenhouse-architecture! - maybe different designs and sizes for different time periods. - And the kitchen garden is a very nice addition to it.
Great job on this build! You have really inspired me to try out the georgian and victorian buildings. Also, I have a building that might be a nice fit for your server, it's the Legislative Building in Saskatchewan, Canada. I think it was built around 1912. It could be a nice addition to the server! Anyway, great video!

Walled gardens were the favorite for sure! Love the look of them.

I like the polished diorite as it looks a bit like marble.

@Eduardo Morales But polished diorite goes great with polished Blackstone though. Makes a nice floor.

For some reason this reminded me of the Audley End House and Gardens from those Victorian way videos.
Mrs. Crocombe and her disapproving glares are the only fuel in my desire to live
Diorite is unfairly hated and one of the best-looking blocks in the game.
Change my mind.

I just spent two days getting brick so that I can build a simpler version of this, I'm in love, I keep going back to this build
