Haha. Great to see my game reviewed. The intros you show were mine, although there are cracks out there that add more. The countdown was only made because my brother bet me that I couldn't do it, so I wrote a simple morphing program in basic to create it. I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

I'd buy a TRS-80 modern keyboard-PC, just needs a number pad to the right, arrow keys separated, and horizontal return button and I'm good.

I liked these expansion packs. Interesting new weapons and those nightcrawler enemies were cool. Was definitely scarier than original. All this though isnt considered canon. Jin is alive in fear 3.

The suit design is very much like Hal's (the creative team programming Air Fortress) Blaster Master main character in his scenes where he walks around in top view mode.

I was also disappointed how the game turned out. You should check out The Invisible Hours as it is much better.

When I was a kid, I was always fascinated by this game but never played it.

A tarot card game?! I had no idea. Personally, I prefer a physical deck of cards. Especially for the artwork.

Doom games look fun on every system I've played them on. Never tried it on this system though.

It's definitely difficult. Repeatedly playing it to learn where the enemies are coming from was the only way I eventually clocked it and that was on the arcade only. Kinda like Section Z or Super Ranger. I loved those games though.

Thanks for this video. I just picked up a Commodore Plus/4 case and keyboard and was hoping to do something similar. I think the keyboard wiring and mapping will be the most challenging part. I’ve removed the old cardboard type cabling and replaced with a row of pin headers and plan to connect DuPont cables. I have a bmc64 breakout board, but am nervous something will be damaged if I try plugging pin to pin without verifying what each is doing.

On Normal Difficulty this game is so much fun! The brutal difficulty, particularly of the 3rd person flying segments, makes the experience just as tense and exhilarating to play as the scenes in the Star Wars movies are to watch! However if you have trouble beating it at first, I recommend the easy difficulty, as the game tells you which direction to fly in to avoid getting hit. So if you are having trouble figuring that out, it is useful to master the level on easy first, then return to normal for the true challenge. For the corridor shootout segments, I recommend staying hidden behind cover, understanding the pattern of which Stormtrooper pops his head out when, then before the cycle repeats, you come out of cover and shoot the first guy before he gets a shot off, then race back to cover. Repeat.

This was the most obscure cartridge I (somehow) happened to have as a kid. I found the fortress parts intense, especially the escapes. The first fortress's escape route is trivial, beyond the core, but I didn't realize you could go through at first, and I thought I had to retrace the entire fortress... which there was just barely enough time to do, but of course I couldn't escape that way! This was the only password-protected game that I ever brute-forced a random password for. I think I found the 6th or 7th fortress through brute forcing, which was so exciting to my kid self. And that fortress was so amazingly complicated!

You should flash Dolphin Dos kernal and drive roms for best load speed.
