ERA: 0.00 WHIP: 0.00 K/9: 27. Greatest pitcher of our generation.
Actually, has a K/9 of 9. He faced one other batter in that appearance and he also made a 1-out appearance in 2018. He induced a fly ball and ground ball to the other two guys.
What about Justin Turner. Has same numbers. Greatest Dodger pitcher of all time.

HOF.
From getting struck out by Anthony Rizzo, to winning the World Series, Freddie Freeman had an unforgettable 2021 season that's for sure lol
And Freddie just hit his first home run against the Braves, as a Dodger player
man you just know Freddie is gonna hear about this every time he gets on first base against the cubs now
"Hey bro remember that time I struck you out?" Now I wanna see a Freeman vs Rizzo, with Freeman pitching and Rizzo batting lol
Sadly rizzo wont be with the cubs come trade deadline. He wants the cash and the owners wont give him the money he deserves
That's going to be a ton the way the Braves are hitting the Cubs. Rizzo was the only one who could get him out lol.
Or when Rizzo gets to 1st
If only rizzo was micd up, they've done it several times this year already
One of the best relationships between 2 dudes that have never been on the same pro roster. Built from respect, humility, fun, and a love for the game. This is the right way to deal with a blowout lol
Agree. Only one I've ever seen close was Beltre and Hernandez.
0 career era. Greatest pitcher of all time

Anthony Rizzo is a treasure.
A treasure that the Cubs just traded away.. as a Yankees fan I feel that rizzo should be a cub
@@notmarcus17 same Bryant and javy too just feels wrong seeing them in a different uniform
Yep it was a brotherhood down in Chicago and so fun to watch
That they traded away to the Yankees
I’m pretty sure he’s a baseball player, actually
I never saw someone so happy to be struck out
Exactly. Looks like he wanted to go out and hug him
Pretty wholesome moment
Still went home with the dub
@@JH-dr4xo cool bro
So you didn't watch the video? Think maybe your wording could be adjusted... I have never seen, maybe? Or you could just be slingblade himself.
This was classic....Freddie is always smiling and I just became a fan of Rizzo.
Watch Ryan Klesko talk about how he "met" Jim Thome in his HOF speech. So freaking hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣
@@clevelandcbi I will check it out, thank you.
Love how freeman is not embarrassed at all and is just having a ton of fun with it
I wouldn’t be mad either if I had a 4 hit day already
I honestly think that Freddie gave him a freebie. It was 10-0 and they’re friends. Either way, if it was or wasn’t, as a Brave’s fan, this was still a very fun moment
He had to be embarrassed a little
@@tangofett4065 that last pitch was kinda nasty
A good sport.
Rizzo and Freeman trying to hold in laughter is like when the teacher is yelling at me and my friend and we’re trying not to laugh at her😂😂
Freddie Freeman: Has a 4 hit night
Also Freddie Freeman: Gets struck out by Rizzo
it's like a team getting stunned by a bench warmer QB in the NFL...he gameplanned against other pitchers, not Rizzo 😆
Rizzo’s slow velocity helped, hitters are so used to facing 90+ mph fast balls so when he is only throwing 70-65 mph it messes with the timing.
@@jognfong8557 I seen the Houston Oilers have that happen to them in the playoffs. By some dude named Frank he sucked. Game had to be a fix.
In sports...it be like that sometimes
That last pitch Freeman jumps like it's going to be doing 90 mph and he's all outta whack, lol
Freddie and Anthony’s relationship reminds me a lot of how Adrian and Felix would act when they played against each other.
Two all star first basemen with similar careers, similar ages, and similar great attitudes, love that they've had some chances to mess around a bit and show how the game is still a game at the end of the day, even if you're losing you can find a bit of fun
Who are Adrian and Felix?
@@jhonnyrock adrian beltre(ex third baseman for the rangers) and felix hernandez (ex pitcher for the mariners). They were good friends and both future hofers.
@@rezavoirdawg If Felix can have a few more good years, he’s probably going to the hall of fame. But as it stands now, I think it’s a coin flip.
This is such a joke. Fans fawning over their team losing by 10 runs and none of the players even caring.
What is not to love about baseball? This is one of the purest moments I've ever seen in baseball. Two guys enjoying the game and us enjoying it with them.
...and both were still Competing. Fully completing! Freddie tried to adjust to that 2-1, 74 mph pitch and thought he was on it. Then, Anthony drops it down by 13 mph to get Freddie out of sync with a 61 mph hook! Respect... to these competitors, just having fun with it all. I loved it.
Could not agree with you more. Good for everyone!
99% of the time nothing is happening is why ppl dont like baseball. if 2 guys smiling is the height of the sport, something is very wrong.
Or they just don’t like baseball. You either love it or you don’t. I’m different though, I could watch MLB games on TV all day long if I was able and truly enjoy the art of the sport. Love it!
I have NEVER liked baseball, but this just as well got me into it.
I've never seen two professional athletes look so laid back and happy about playing.
I like that the braves fans were cheering rizzo on lol.
Dude I was too. It was a very warm moment and probably one of my favorites in the decades I've watched baseball.
They saw his Underwater Curve Ball...
This is what sports was suppose to be about. Enjoyment of a sport and entertaining others. I miss when these moments built passion, and fun on a continual basis.
When they are winning 10-0 they can afford to cheer for the other team.Good sportsmanship has to start somewhere.
These two guys always make the game fun and better. Need more Tonys and Freddies
rizzo has to been one of the most likeable guys in the MLB

Rizzo actually had really good location on all those strikes. Both "fastballs" up and away in the zone and the eephus pitch buried in the bottom corner away in the zone. Madduxesque
Funny you should say that, considering Maddux won Cy Youngs with both teams. XD
Rizzo, Freddie, Beltre seems like guys that genuinely love baseball. All very likeable and never really gets mad about anything
Until you touch Adrian's head🤣
They are both 2 of the nicest guys in MLB
Maybe they should be the faces of baseball

How could you not like this? I love every single moment of this, this moments make Baseball special, both Freeman and Rizzo are 2 of the best guys to ever play the game and they enjoy each other, love it!!
As a Cubs fan, this was literally the only joy I found in this game. ❤🤣💙
Facts, pure facts.
Only joy all week
@@jamesmillard259 LOL ouch so true
As a Brave’s fan, there was a lot I liked about this game, but this was my favorite part.... just 2 dudes goofin’ around and having fun. Freddie is a class act and one of my favorite players evrr
Dude what has happened to Kyle Hendricks? He's awful this year.
The way they’re grinning ear to ear this feels like an all star game at bat.
On today’s episode of ‘Why Everyone Loves Freeman and Rizzo’
Just one more reason why I love this game called base ball!! Riz pretty much balked on every pitch, not coming to a complete stop. Kudos to the umpiring crew to just let the guys have fun!
I love how both are smiling the entire time
This is why I'm a baseball fan. The pure joy of friends still having competitive friendships. This will live on to be 2021's best memorie
Best reliever of all time!
Finally, something that makes people genuinely smile! Both players were having fun, pure fun. We all have forgotten how to do that. Bravo, MLB, bravo.

That was awesome! These two guys are so good for baseball. They have lots of fun with each other.
AND THIS is why I love Baseball SO MUCH Ladies and Gentlemen. Just a Pure, Entertaining, and DOWNRIGHT HILARIOUS MOMENT.
Lol rizzos smirk when freeman walks up lol just as funny as that clip of Rizzo chasing him down to 2nd yelling Fredrick!!!
Rizzo's troll face is just the best
They are two of the best 1B in the league, class act guys, and of course they made very similar plays to record the final out of the World Series.

How baseball should be. No ego, no attitude, position players pitchin' and being moved to other positions after each inning. Love it.
Two of the nicest guys in baseball.
It’s nice to see guys actually smiling and having fun.
What a great sport Freeman is. I'd be fuming at myself if I had his talent and just got struck out to a first baseman pitching
If it was your good buddy id think you would have some appreciation for what he did. Plus Freeman already had 4 hits so was still a great night for him
They were both cracking up the whole time. That was amazing.
These are 2 cool cats having fun in an otherwise garbage time situation! Happy to have fans back for stuff like this!
Best part about baseball is that when you get blown out, people still find a way to have fun, cause it’s still a sport 😂
Baseball is a game.
You mean they're actually having FUN? But this is a GAME and they're making BIG MONEY! They can't do that!
Big problem with baseball right now. No fun is allowed..
‘FREDERICKKKK’
Just watched the video...freaken hilarious! Loved the smiles and laughter on their faces! Great sportsmanship! Those two are the kind of sports celebs you want your kids to look up to and emulate for sure!
The most memorable moment of the season. Pure gold.
This is the second-best video of Rizzo and Freeman this season
Just when I thought a 46 mph fastball wasn't funny enough... 🤣
This AWESOME. You’ve got to love both these guys. Freeman is one of the best to ever play the game and he’s got such a great attitude. Rizzo is one of my favorites, too.
This has to be one of my favorite baseball moments especially after the rundown the other night.
One of my favorite baseball moments ever. You can't help but smile watching this.
Who here was like me and was smiling through this whole video? Thus is what baseball is all about. The joy of the game on full display courtesy of Anthony Rizzo and Freddie Freeman.😀⚾️
This had the fun and lightheartedness of a backyard ballgame - so enjoyable to watch, and it looked like so much fun for the players to experience!
rizzo got the bragging rights for now
This is so wholesome and these guys are a big part of what makes baseball great.
That was actually a sick slider
Sweeping curve
That was one of the most wholesome moments I've ever seen in MLB. Amazing Moment and so good on the players for showing respect to each other.
Sportsmanship like this is what all sports needs
Way to go Rizz!
Love his talent and mostly his personality.
He is so fun to watch!
My favorite Cubbie!
So glad to have you guys back.
“FREDERICK!!! FREDDIE!!!” -Anthony Rizzo
This brings to mind my favorite Cub's first baseman Mark Grace when he was with the Diamondbacks and pitching against the Dodgers....gave David Ross his first dinger in fact.
It was the imitation of a D-Backs pitcher that was so amusing.
Lmao I absolutely love Freddie.. surprised he didn't just walk out to the mound and hug Anthony after that.
How can you not love these two? They're some of the coolest and most fun players in the bigs
Rizzo was the only pitcher good enough to stop the 4-for-4 Freddie Freeman.
That was a quality curve - a solid 6 on the Rich Hill Scale of curves.
The Rich Hill Scale goes from 1 ("Bilster's hurting today") to 10 ("Ball stopped for a hot dog on the way to the plate").
This moment is one of the greatest treasures in sports. If I were a coach & my team got blown out, this would be the first thing they see after. Rizzo & Freeman are such great examples for young players. Nobody enjoys getting the score ran up on em. But it doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun. Builds character. I guarantee whether Rizzo was pitching down 10-0 or up 11-10 his demeanor would be the same.
This just makes the game fun. In game rivalries between players and friends. You can not watch this without smiling
WHEN U KNOW THAT BASEBALL IS JUST ABOUT HAVING FUN
Freddie Freeman is such a class act. He lives and respects the game and has fun every time he steps on that field. So fun to watch him play.
Absolutely. I am a New York Mets fan but I love Freddie Freeman
Freeman is a class act. Sometimes let's enjoy situations like when we were 10 years old on a Saturday in little league
So beautiful I want to cry, just something about it. For the love of the game.
Haha! Rizzo here was amazing
This is my favourite play of the year so far. Love it
Love seeing them have fun despite the score
How can you not love baseball when it's this pure?

@@jonbethune mhm get em outta here! ;)
When is 40 gonna realize that Rizzo > Mickey Martinez!
They are Padres fans who are pissed they got rid of Rizzo all those years ago
No it's because they're a bunch of gavones laughing and smiling about a situation (position players pitching in blowouts) that's been normal for years and isn't a novel concept anymore. It's irritating in the same way listening to someone earnestly laugh really hard at someone else saying something like "that's my name, don't wear it out," a line that everyone's heard a billion times and wasn't really funny the first time.
Both are great guys, the smiles say it all.
I love when baseball players show class & can take a laugh
2 of my favorite players in baseball right now……classy and talented!
Amazing video here
It shows me how much of a baseball fan I am, not caring what team plays.

This feels like such a little league moment. Like you are pitching and your friend is up to the plate.
It's nice to come back to this video after the World Series. Seeing Freddie make that final out brought back memories of when Anthony did it back in 2016
