Its why he is one my favorites. Wont be a first year hof'er. Won't be in the convo for the GOAT. But man if he wasn't a great player who loved the game... for the record though....dude's eventually in the HOF.
You’d be hard pressed to find a friendship like this in the history of all sports: on opposite teams for considerably longer than they were ever teammates, yet noticeably friendly and jovial during nearly every single on field encounter. Truly unique.
That's a treat to see these two pick on eachother and still be best of friends. Not sure what there manager's think about it but I also can't imagine there managers getting in the way of something very special either. Just a pleasure to watch them play the game but keep there friendship as tight as it possibly can be. I bet it was tough on both when Beltran was traded. Pretty cool
Beltre showed even more respect to Felix by not joking or showing him up when he finally got him with a homer because Felix was having such a bad outing that night
Correct. Sometimes friendship is demonstrated by joking around and pretending to disrespect one another. Which is a very “guy” thing. Sometimes by compassion and respect. Depends on the circumstances.
Great to see opponents who can joke with each other while playing a game. I get that they played together, but it's better to see people get along during a game
the thing that makes this so good is that they were both elite players and had so much success on the field... but that didn't stop them from having fun too
I was so fortunate to be a Rangers fan and watching this for the years I did. Adrian and Felix made the games so much more fun to watch. Definitely miss this
These two are a lot of fun to watch. Beltre was classy when he hit that home run, and gave a classy response when asked about it afterwards, which was basically that while they are friends, if Felix is pitching, the goal is to beat him, and Felix was having a tough outing, so that was not the time to give him any grief.
Sure, these two are just good friends, unfortunately, you do not see this very often in major league baseball, just respect and friendship over rivalry. Baseball is just a pass time and a game and humans play it.
Jhebrix beltre said in an interview the ump actually got fined after this. It was very uncalled for. They were just talking and the umpire thought Beltre was talking about him, smh.
This Mashup has some of the best ones, but 90% of the at bats had between them had some antics. And when he was in the 3rd base dugout, Felix was at the top step jawing off at Adrian the whole game. You could easily make a 1 hour video of all their craziness!
The best strike out is when felix starts to laugh after beltre misses the ball and instantly realizes he just did what he wasn't supposed to do 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You got to love the Latin influence in mlb, they love the game. If the American mlb community would embrace the Latin love for the game then baseball would be saved
I think both love the game, it's just in different ways. Americans hide their emotions much more and play a much more businesslike style of baseball. But I agree, they are so fun to watch. The latins I mean
@@Hentylion i think that's the problem with baseballs lack of popularity these days. Baseball is a game which is meant to be fun/entertaining. The American way we're raised to show no emotions and act like it's business as usual or risk being thrown at for violating the unwritten rules, which are outdated (and pretty dumb when you think about it). I love baseball but after playing with different cultures, I'd much rather go out of the country to watch a game where the energy (fans, players, staff announcers etc.) is vibrant the moment they introduce the players til the final out.
@@nickhamlett3583 that's fair. I'm not saying its better or worse, I'm just saying that when he said Americans don't love the sport just because they don't show a lot of emotion is wrong.
This is what baseball us about! Play the Game, Enjoying it,And Have Fun! This 2 Dudes,Are Brothers from different Parents! They really love each other for Real!
Great video about two great players. Always a good time. Was glad to see both Adrian and Elvis back in the lineup against my Yanks last week, although I could have done without Beltre's HR.
This is so cool. . It reminds that baseball is still a game. Have fun while playing the game that you love. The fans enjoy this kind of interactions. I know i do.
"I loved playing with you, but I enjoyed hitting against you even more." Seeing Beltre giving Felix that good-hearted jabbing during his HoF speech was the perfect cherry on this bromance. I really do hope one day that Felix gets his place in Cooperstown with Adrian.
With these two, the fun they seem to have with each other makes their pay seem a secondary. Now that they're bith retired I hope the friendship is just as strong.

These two bring the term “boys will boys” to life 😂🤣
oh yes, the old boy will boys
Bky
Boys will boys will boys will
Nowadays girls will boy too
Adrian is a class act. A true ambassador of what the game is all about. Having fun.

When you see Felix’ face start cracking into that huge grin, it’s almost impossible not to laugh along with him. As Beltre knows all too well.
This never gets old. Sure going to miss Beltre
And Felix. Hope to see them both in the HoF in a few years cracking jokes at each other.

Probably the funniest rivals to ever play the game. Made it really fun to watch. They will be much missed.

I'm happy Adrian Beltre show up in Seattle for Felix's Mariners hof induction. It totally made Felix's day.
The most beautiful friendship baseball has ever seen
This friendship always makes me laugh lmao.
Felix's input at 2:20 is my favorite by far. You just never see that kind of interaction 😂

6:23 CF jumping the falling down into the fetal position, along with Felix’s slap reaction absolutely sends me everytime. 😂😂😂

The reaction when Hernandez strikes out Beltre from both players was classic.
More athletes need to be like this. Its a game, have fun.
3:47 Calm down there Mr. Umpire. Why are you ripping your mask off? Felix just want to say hello to his friend Adrian.
He looked like he really thought they were about to fight 😂

Love the back and forth between these guys. You know they talk on the phone every week.
I lived in Seattle when these two were teammates. There’s a mutual respect btwn the two, as well as a great friendship. Both are definitely HoFers.

I honestly can't think of any other player that has more fun in the game than Belts.
Anyone else notice that the score was 2-0 Seattle in most clips
I stopped watching them play when they got Ichiro, that was the the last straw for me, it felt like they spit in my face.
Woozlewuzzleable uhh why would you say that
Yes, but we all know the M's took the L!!!
lol
That's might be because most of these games were Felix Hernandez starts, which makes them generally better than most Mariners games.
