Did the sat nav on the car say the old name of the museum - Heritage Motor Centre?
I had two of the previous model with only 30 or so miles range, brilliant cars - if this had been available when I last changed I'd have got one. Currently using a full EV and not going back though.
Get the regular eHybrid. It’s cheaper with better wheel choice and longer range.
I have been driving the Golf plug-in hybrid for 2 months now, a wonderful feeling, too bad the promised range is not correct. I charge my car to 80% full to save the battery, then I get a maximum of between 70 and 80 km out of it. When you start driving and are 15 km away, the range already indicates a consumption of more than 20 km
That control panel is an obvious distraction in my view at least!
Excellent car and idea of putting 83 miles ev range on it amazing would work every day for me but shame they put it in the 40k plus 300 range should of made it 39999

Rubbish range...
Just to clarify, it’s not a full EV, it’s a hybrid; for plug-in hybrids it has one of the highest electric-only ranges available.
CCS charging is an improvement on the model & rare for a PHEV
