I had an uncle who would not travel. He was in WWII. He served in Africa, Italy, France and Germany. Maybe more. He said when he was there he swore that if he was lucky enough to make it home he would never leave again. He stayed true to that. He never left his little town in Alabama for the rest of his life.
My uncle Carl was a medic in Italy, WW2 he was gone 37 months the war was over for a month before he came home he had to ride a slow boat home, daddy and his family though Carl was dead, they were glad when he came home! He never went any where after that! Told to me by my Dad many years ago! God bless you
Y'all crack me up like nobody else..I'm soooooo much a homebody..living in Alabama since 94..this is where I found my home..long story..born in Ohio..raised in Kentucky..traveled for years with husband #1..not to my liking with my 3 children..always said..when I find where I fit..I won't be traveling anymore..and that is where I've been since 94..that is where I got divorced..and that is where I met my forever husband..happy wife..happy life..I am soooooo happy in Alabama with my forever hubby since 99..my best friend and partner..my laughing buddy..the one who loves me just the way I am..DonnienDebbie..we r soooo cool together!!! breathing is sooooo easy now..anyway..love y'all and love your family and ways..true and blue to the end!! ty..xoxo 🥰✌🤟👍🖐🤪
I get soooo much flack from my friends n family for not being a “travel junkie”!! I love to be home, creating recipes and building up the garden/homestead. It’s awesome that everyone is different and we should celebrate that!
I am the same way now! When I was a younger woman, I rode my Harley all up and down the east coast. Many times. alone. My husband and I loved seeing new places. Now that I'm 63 and retired, I don't wake up thinking "where do I want to go today?" I wake up thinking about my garden, canning and preserving, my animals, picking blueberries and blackberries, what to cook for dinner, all the simple things. It stresses me to go to the grocery store now. Can't wait to get back HOME. God is so good, and I feel so blessed by His provision.
65 here, yep me too trip to town for groceries, wears me out. do lots of online shopping :) long mountain roads here in Arkansas. Safe in my yard. Live alone with dogs. How can I travel with two 100-pound dogs? Really not leaving them. Catch lots of crap for not going. I used to travel and liked it back then.. now days not so much just causes me anxiety to drive 2 hours to my brother's house.
I love being home. For the most part, groceries and church is plenty of traveling for me. At age 30 I've only been on four holidays and perhaps one will be nice now, but for the most part I love my desk, my bed, by books and my garden.
Traveling is exhausting, expensive, stressful. All that prepping, packing and unpacking. I especially dislike airports; they are so stressful, especially since 9/11. I lost my husband in the airport on the way to Jamaica. I cried. Lol. Travelling by vehicle feels like it takes forever. It’s difficult, if not impossible, to take your pets😢 It’s hard on children. I travelled in the 80’s by air and it was sooooo much nicer then. I am sorry you girls missed that time. I am 62 now and I love being home, sitting in front of the TV and watching The Pressley Girls and Celebrating Appalachia. I travel to North Carolina every time I watch you and it is wonderful. ❤❤❤❤
Travel by plane is nothing like it used to be. It used to be special and people treated it as such, dressing nicely and behaving. Now planes are generally cattle-cars in the sky. IMO. I like to travel, but TOTALLY get what you're saying and share similar feelings about all you mentioned. I wish there were more people like your people. THANK YOU for this, girls. I absolutely enjoy hearing y'all!!! 💓 🙌🏼
Used to travel, via plane, for two weeks out of each month for work. . I did this for a number of years. I have traveled all throughout the United States and some in Europe. All included multiple days in hotels . That being said, as the old song says. You'll find your Castle in Spain neath your window pane back in your own back yard. You'll find your happiness lies right under you eyes, back in your own back yard. Katie , you ain't no baby. You're a strong woman that knows her own mind and your viewers love you for it. Love you girls ❤❤
My family lives in Panama City Florida and I am in S.C.born and raised in the Upstate of S.C. about 20 miles from western NC. I was always so happy to come around the curve and see my horse's on the pasture, and I would be in tears when I saw my home. I'm so happy to hear that I'm not the only one who feels like this. I ❤️ you girls and your honesty about your likes and feelings.
Sometimes when I have to get on these big, ugly freeways to go to a specific doctor or when I will get the nerve up to take a 2-4 trip within our state, when I return home, I always say there is no place like home!
I'm a home body too. I've had some awful travel experiences and I so enjoy just staying home especially nowadays with so many wackadoos out there. Everyone has their own opinion and I thank you for sharing yours. God bless.😊
Girls, you definitely are not alone ~ I feel exactly the way that you do about traveling! The older that I get, the more I don't want to be around crowds, fly or stay in hotels. I think that a little motor home is going to be the way to go for me in the future! Thanks for being so willing to share your honest feelings, as always! Please continue making these videos!
I live in a condo building right by the river. There is a beautiful outdoor pool and garden. Summers are very nice in Montreal and I totally avoid travelling from may to October. People are always asking if and where we’re going to travel during the summer months. I always say that we’re staying home. We have everything nearby, golf course, lakes, mountains, amazing bike trails, the city is beautiful during the summer. I have travelled quite a bit in the past and I’ve realized that being at home is the best. Travelling for me will be limited to warm places to avoid some of the winter.
As I get older, I can totally relate to staying home and restricting travel. I love to hear the two of you talk. Truly enjoyed watching this video. Keep up the good work.
I LOVE to TRAVEL, but I’m also a major HOMEBODY! Sounds like a contradiction but for me it means I’m happy at home, I’m an introvert, I love baking, cooking, gardening, crafting… all things done at home. But I sure enjoy seeing new places, love road-trips, flying, trains, cruises, camping, renting nice vacation homes, staying in plush hotels… Lol I LOVE IT! Btw, I usually travel alone and so I only go when & where I want when weather is just right and everything lines up easy breezy. I carry a peacemaker when I’m not taking public transit.
We’re retired now, live in Canada and have friends, family and neighbours all around us who travel (all types of travel). We have airline passes on a major airline as my husband was an airline pilot and we have travelled a fair bit. However, we have come to the realization that we don’t like travelling anymore. Fun “travel” for us is now camping in our small trailer with our dog, away from many people. I love our little home and puttering about. It’s a blessing that we both feel the same way as spouses and it’s freeing to admit it. Thank you for discussing this subject.
You both are so precious. I don’t enjoy airplane traveling anymore. It used to be fun, but since TSA, it is annoying. It is fun to see beautiful places and meet new people. Also, lots of people seem to like our southern accents. When a lady in Philadelphia looked at me like I wasn’t smart, I told her “Just because I talk slow doesn’t mean I am slow!” Then she laughed with me.
I think it's a happy balance. No one that's been to other countries can even describe them to someone who hasn't. I feel like if you never go "across the pond", you really miss out on some spectacularly magic places and people in your life. Yes! getting there is rough sometimes, but oh so worth it! I also love being home. Good thing we don't have to pick one or the other totally.
I used to take yearly trips, but I'm in my fifties now. I love my house, my wife, and my dog, I love my town and my church, I love my own cooking, and I have stayed in far too many sketchy hotels. My travel days are pretty much over. Thanks, and God bless!
Your video pretty much summed up my whole travel experiences. I am now 52 and the thought of travel put my stomach in knots. I have travelled in the past but I can honestly say I never really enjoyed it and some of my trips cost plenty. There is nothing like your own home comforts, bed, toilet, kitchen and I have about 50 books beside my bed and reading is my greatest pleasure. There is no place like home.
I’m glad that there are two other people like me! I have always felt like a weirdo, but I hate traveling in this busy world. I have nerves like a rabbit. I love the destination, but I hate the getting there.
The older I’ve gotten, the state of crime, etc the less I enjoy traveling and I enjoy being at home. I have my head on a swivel just going to local stores etc. Katie I agree with you 100% with your feelings about the subject. You both are awesome.
I love ya'll, my sentiments exactly. A big thing with me is germs in hotels or just bad vibes. Ya never know what happened in a hotel room previously.....
I so love you two. Don't be embarrassed about how you feel ever! Traveling is very stressful. I remember my first plane trip alone. I was 29 and it was a business trip. I was late to the airport and when I got to where I was going I did the worst thing. Sooo embarrassed. Home is always the best place to be. The only thing that helps me is praying. When I get in the car to go anywhere I ask God to help me not do anything stupid and not let me get near anyone who is doing anything stupid. Then I relax and trust Him.
Totally agree! I’m someone who’s very content with being at home. My anxiety with traveling is traffic. Then, there’s the cost and crowds. I try to enjoy it but, I just can’t relax and I don’t feel like it’s worth it. If someone has the opportunity to travel, good for them. Go and have fun. Me, I’m just fine and don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything. Love you sweet ladies. God bless y’all! 😀❤️
I can understand. As a french, i travelled in europe, asia, parts of the Us, caribbeans among some other trips. I met my wife in japan while travelling by bicycle, but i enjoy less tourism /classic travels, i am fed up with polluting planes, crowded places, i never liked guesthouses or hotels, which always seem to me not a natural way to travel or live. I can still enjoy some forms of wandering or "more natural" ways to travel, such as bicycle trips, or by sailboats, since i am a sailor. But i appreciated more and more to live peacefully, and we can find freedom in many ways, not just in the frenetic tourism. The first freedom is in our mind
I feel so validated! I've traveled to many states and a number of countries and even have friends begging me to visit, but I feel the same things you do, and so prefer to "piddle (or putter) around the house"! I could relate so much at times I was laughing to the point of tears! Thanks for sharing!
I love the way you are. You both embrace who you are and you know what you like and don't like. You don't allow others to cause you to change to fit in or please them. I have struggled with so many different situations. I am becoming more this way, like you if it doesn't work for me or someone else is in charge, I do not like it. I want my things and my choices to be mine and the Lord's alone. 😊
Totally understandable. I love being home, but I also love going new places and seeing new things. It feeds some sort of curiosity I have inside me. I’d really encourage you to visit Europe at least once. As others have said, it’s magical. I’ve visited England, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and some Eastern European countries. The Provence area of southern France is my favorite. Go to Nice (pronounced Neece) France. Walk on narrow cobblestone streets and enjoy fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh croissants, and the most beautiful beaches. You will love it. ❤
You guys had me laughing throughout this video…totally relate! Keep in mind any extra culture you would learn going afar will only have you appreciate your home and your Appalachian roots all the more. You are sitting on a gold mine already with your fresh mountain scented air, fresh homegrown food, clean well water, the evening quietness long lost elsewhere, lack of light pollution so you can gaze at even more stars, and the love of an incredible family with high moral values and tasty popsicles! Then you go and add a joyful Olive into the mix and a place where even slugs choose to live their lives. Keep up what y’all are doing! You are continuing to bless so many doing these videos to expand others’ cultural knowledge of your locale, when you think about it. We’ll keep praying for Miss Cindy and for your strength to see her through her earth’s journey. 💝
You two would make excellent comedians!! Was born and raised in the south, had the previledge to see many parts of the world. This was enjoyable, but it made me more aware of my life, family and our great country!!
Most people like to travel for the experience, to seem like they are more interesting and not boring, tryin to show the world they are not poor and it's mostly about people pleasing. I love being at home or doing local things because I experience what most travelers experience right here on UA-cam. I've travelled the world through UA-cam and the Virtual travels...No lay overs, no checking in luggage and losing your bags, no spending crazy money, etc...
I TOTALLY AGREE with you both!! I’m not a Traveler. I’m happiest on my 2 acres. Call me a baby! Lol Everything seems to be such a hassle! And Traveling wears a person out! I don’t like all the people!!!! I’m a home body, I don’t care. Carry on ladies ❤
@@nancyjohnson6867Traveling too much has got me craving regular, American food. Just familiar - nothing strange appeals to me more than ever! Seeing too much Octopus and other stuff is overrated.
@@hereigns7221 No joke. We had 1 escalator in our town at a Belk store. When i was a kid, there was nothing that was going to get her on it. I'd even get on by myself as a 6 year old to prove nothing would happen, but she wouldn't budge lol
I’ve traveled since my mom passed to find my “hometown”.. the feeling of my childhood .. but it’s always in the south 😊 But as a child - I NEVER wanted to spend the night away from home!
I just like being at home with my loved ones and garden. Stay-cations and day/overnight car trips suit me best. Large airports are sensory overload for me.
I loved your video! I am a home body myself…I love being at home. I’m comfortable at home sleeping in my own bed, taking a shower in my own bathroom, etc. But I do enjoy having a vacation from time to time with my family but I’m so anxious to get back home! Everyone is different. Just stay true to yourself ❤️❤️❤️
Being from beautiful Australia with it's six incredibly huge states including Tasmania and new Zealand only a two hour flight from the east coast of Australia we have everything you could possibly ask for, the best of absolutely everything, incredible wide spaces very low population for its size which is perfect for us not liking big crowds and incredibly safe and crystal clean perfect weather snowy region, cool, warm, subtropical, tropical, deserts, islands of your choice every type of adventure and cuisine the list goes on, the adventures you can take and still not see it all in one lifetime, for my husband and i that's for us, we'll be staying right here in paradise 😊
I just got back from traveling and I was scared to go but so glad I did, it was well worth the effort to go venture! And now I want to go back where I was! Seeing new things, appreciating the experiences travel teaches us is worth it - including noises and arguments outside your window (for 40 minutes in another language!) when trying to sleep at night, oh the things we go through traveling when we're stuck sleeping somewhere! The rest of the trip made up for even that fiasco! God be with you in your travels as He has been with me so faithfully.
I am with you I hate being up in the air. I get awful headaches and I do like sitting so close to someone i do not know for hours. Besides I do not want to die up there. I have a girl friend who can't stay in one place for long, she gets bored. I am retired now and I love it. My home is my sanctuary.
I can relate. Nice to hear from similar souls lol! I'm not a travel person. I wish I was. I see some benefit it in, but nope, not me. I fear heights and crowds so that makes an airport scary to me.
I like my home base. If i want the ocean its 50 miles south. The mountains are 10 miles north. Lakes and Rivers are everywhere. The Four Seasons come to me. I dont have to travel to them. Hot Summers, Beautiful Autumns, A not too long Winter with some snow storms. And a beautiful Spring with flowers and beautiful lush green trees everywhere. If i want to see Europe i find it on UA-cam.
I'm with you. I don't like to travel. I'm kinda like Dorothy. There's no place like home and if you're looking for something and you can't find it outside your front door then you didn't lose it anyway. Love you girls and still praying for Miss Cindy and all of you.
I have traveled all over America and Canada and Belize. A few were mission trips but mostly family vacations. I am a homebody at heart. I hate to fly and hope I never have to do that again! I never have to do the driving so that's great. There's always a seat for gramma on family vacations ❤
You have said all that is in my own heart. I want to be home in my own bed at night. I don’t care if everyone else loves to travel, do new things, see the world famous monuments. I applaud whoever does it. I have anxiety about crowded places, unfamiliar faces and roads. Just thinking about the stress associated with getting from point “A” to point “B” makes me hyperventilate. I enjoy being back home in East Tennessee but I don’t enjoy going there. The older I get the more I dread the trip even though it’s less than 200 miles. I know people who love going on cruises and any kind of organized sightseeing trips. Not me. Send me a card from wherever you are. I’ll look at your pictures and listen to your stories and be duly amazed. But I’ll wait for you right here on my back porch. If I could magically get where I’d like to be, I’d probably be helping your mom and dad in the garden and have a popsicle. Then I’d go sit on the porch and talk to Granny for a while because she and I are from the same generation. You and your family are like family to me and watching your videos are vacation enough for me.
I enjoyed flying and traveling in the 1980-1990’s, but not anymore. It used to be so much easier! It’s not fun now. We’re retired but I don’t have any desire to go anywhere!!! It’s not worth the stress. An Rv would be great but my husband refuses in our late 70’s now, to drive one. Can’t say I blame him!
I am so glad to know I’m not the only one! 😂 Your trip to the airport sounded just like my experience. I feel like the older I get the worse it gets too 🤦🏻♀️ Busy cities make me feel that way too!
My parents bought me National Geographic as a child. So I've spent most of my life dreaming of travel. But we were poor, so our only family vacation (1962?) was once from south Florida to Highlands, NC. I remember walking under some large waterfall fairly close to Cullowhee. Spent 10 years on submarines in the Arctic. I just left the Virginia area after 30 years, retiring to Wyoming. It's so peaceful. I plan to explore the wilderness and the Rockies for my final years on earth. But when I finally get home, I'm perfectly happy relaxing, cooking and engaged with my hobbies.
I'm with you Corie and Katie!!! My Son, Daughter-in-law and their 2 Children are on the road coming home from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina this morning. I'm praying for their safety. We live in Oklahoma. They'll have to stop midway and stay overnight. I love your videos, you are both so awesome ❤
I love to travel! I do understand how you ladies feel though. The more you travel, the less anxious you feel. I feel I learn so much seeing new places and learning about different people and cultures. I tend to be a homebody when I'm not working or traveling though. Love you girls!
I never want to go to the ATL airport again. It was complete chaos, I had no idea what I was doing, where to go. I got yelled at and told to keep walking when the dog was searching everyone...I was so nervous I didn't even realize there was a search dog until it was right beside me, I was confused. And when I stepped into their machine it went off and I got searched, but I had nothing in my pockets.
Hello! Melissa here from Ohio. Love your videos and just wanted to say I get the anxiety level of traveling. Been to the Atlanta airport before and it was overwhelming. I love to travel, but I also get anxiety, so I get it. Keep up the great videos!
This is so timely for me. I love going on trips *when I can* but I feel like most of my friends live to travel and frown on people who don't as much as they do. It's become a way of bragging and showing financial status by going places and posting about it online. And, it's exhausting! My grandmother spent virtually her entire life in Virginia. She may have gone to New Jersey at some point, but I'm not sure. But she was a wonderful woman who gave my family so much joy and happiness, and she seemed truly happy most of her life. I always think of her when people put so much weight on travel. There is not a thing wrong with loving your home and wanting to spend time there.
I use to like to travel, however, not so much anymore for so many reasons I’d take up an entire page to explain why, but, I do understand how y’all feel. It’s perfectly normal. Y’all are just so much fun to watch. Stay sweet and God bless!
I understand your sense of feeling uncomfortable about traveling. The only thing I can tell you is that you are missing some of the world's great places. I've been to Italy, Croatia, Germany, and then in the USA, California, Michigan, Maryland, and other states. I remember standing in Rome and thinking "I'm standing where Julius Caesar stood". I'm glad you visited my home state of Massachusetts. Hang in there ladies, the world is a great and fascinating place. Much love.
This makes me feel a little better because I'm 51 and I hate traveling due to the stress and anxiety it causes....this has gotten worse as I've gotten older (and wiser?). The planning, the driving/traffic, the feeling out of my element, and the feeling of being constantly dirty....I detest it. I'm fine at home. Of course...I'm an Appalachian girl, too. : )
Agree-- I have always despised travel of any kind... in fact I never liked being away from my home base for any length of time, I prefer to be home or around home and do things in my small sphere------
Me too! Just like to see my home. I just went out today and collected tomatoes out of the garden. I feel bessed to do that. I know Atlanta airport to a T. I can fly in there and be in Blairsville 2 hours tops!
I’ve traveled all over, I’ve seen a lot of stuff, the Vatican, Greece, Brazil, all over the United States, lots of Europe. But I always come home to my small little town. Very close to where your friend David used to live. It’s nothing wrong with not wanting to travel, it’s not as glamorous as it’s made out to be. It’s awesome to see other parts of the world but there’s no place like home.
I love traveling to see the natural wonders the United States has to offer. I've been on a few trips out West, they were life changing, however, my choice of lodging is usually strapped to my back. Backpacking is hard work, but it's so rewarding. There is nothing as freeing as knowing you have everything you need right there. Big plus is your seeing stuff you could never see otherwise. No big crowds and that community is such a kind, interesting slice of humanity. Katie, I agree on the "pew-pew", I belly laughed on that one! That is definitely an Appalachian trait! I'm a Kentucky girl, I can relate!
😂😂😂😂😂 I'm still chuckling over this one , you guys made my day start off with a belly laugh!!!! I'm 69, traveled lots of places Germany withy husband the only reason I went, terrifying plane trip was just that trip!! 8 hrs of crazy. .coming home not much better, only time I will travel now is if it's an emergency and then I drive , master of my own ship so to speak!! Never know who's higher than a kite, few screws loose or just plain mean ..I love my home and my town, will still hike and fish, plenty of that takes care of the get out feeling...loved this video can relate.❤
Im right there with ya ladies, i grew up in the mountains of WV and that's more that enough beauty and adventure that one can enjoy! Lock it or Glock it😂 I LOVE IT, LoL!!! I got ta remember that one. And Miss Katie you are so right, if i hafta leave my peacemaker behind then i dont go either!!! Ladies, this video was pure AWESOMELY AWESOMENESS!!!😁 I'd just like to give a shout out to all the homebodies out there "Hey y'all"👋🤠 God Bless my country folk🙏 Jay.
Me either! My son and family moved to Maine. I'm in NJ so that means I have to travel. But that trip is well worth it. I could fly but really don't like that, trains go north but not all the way up to where they are, and forget traveling on a bus! So it's me and my car for 7 hours. But I am a real home body, it's my cozy little nest.😊
I guess I'm one of those people that can roll both ways. Alone is fine, a plane full of people I don't know is also fine. Hope you can get over those overwhelming feeling. Greetings from North Carolina.
I will not fly, thats for sure. I dont get the notion to go anywhere much. Except drive through the mountains in the fall and look at the beautiful colors and everything God has created for us to enjoy. If i had everything that surrounds you all i would be perfectly content to stay right there. Not that im not very grateful i have a home. I just love the beautiful mountains and outdoors. And your chickens. They are so cute. Reminds me my aunts place. Lots of farm animals I love. ❤️🙏😥😊 I agree with you all 100% I love my clean, familiar surroundings. It's hard for me to go places without my own comfort zone. I wish I could afford an RV. That would be great. They are really expensive.
I have done a lot of traveling, mainly to see family who live in another country. And I do enjoy seeing new places. But, I have started to really enjoy staying home much more. The stress of traveling itself (flying, driving, hotels, rental cars) is a serious reason why I don’t travel as much now. I think y’all are very sensible in y’all’s opinion.
My grandmother, born and raised in southern Illinois only left the state once in her 92 years of life, and that was to Texas to get married in the middle of WWII.
It's so nice to hear from girls close to my own age who do not like traveling! I have traveled some, but always can't wait for it to be over and get back home haha. I've always felt like such a weirdo. 😆
I can relate! What also makes me nervous about hotels is bed bugs. I can't help it. I traveled to Mexico twice and it was nice but stressful at the airports and customs. I always envisioned myself falling down the escalator with my suitcase and knocking people over. Yikes!! I like to stay home and cook and do crafts. I am so good with that. You girls are just the greatest ❤️
What a breath of fresh air... Sick of hearing about how everyone just wants to travel
You ladies aren't alone .. The old saying 'There's no place like home' holds true for a lot of us.
You two would make great wives
Amen
@@maddogair already are 🤝
💯
I had an uncle who would not travel. He was in WWII. He served in Africa, Italy, France and Germany. Maybe more. He said when he was there he swore that if he was lucky enough to make it home he would never leave again. He stayed true to that. He never left his little town in Alabama for the rest of his life.

Shouldn't you be "Epstein's ghost" burning in hell for all eternity?
Thanks Jeffrey! I knew you hadn't killed yourself.
Is Codie a diabetic? Because she drinks a lot of water?
I get soooo much flack from my friends n family for not being a “travel junkie”!! I love to be home, creating recipes and building up the garden/homestead. It’s awesome that everyone is different and we should celebrate that!
i feel the same way. i catch tons of grief for not wanting to leave. and, when i do leave, i can't wait to come back
I love being at my home,I cannot express how grateful I am to have a home 🏠❤
Me too! We got our little dream farmhouse in 2020..I swear every single day I give thanks to God. I rarely leave my property😂
🔥❤️
It’s not safe anymore to go diff places
I love being home. For the most part, groceries and church is plenty of traveling for me. At age 30 I've only been on four holidays and perhaps one will be nice now, but for the most part I love my desk, my bed, by books and my garden.
😁

I lost my husband in the airport on the way to Jamaica. I cried. Lol. Travelling by vehicle feels like it takes forever. It’s difficult, if not impossible, to take your pets😢 It’s hard on children. I like to travel, but TOTALLY get what you're saying and share similar feelings about all you mentioned. I wish there were more people like your people. THANK YOU for this, girls. I absolutely enjoy hearing y'all!!! 💓 🙌🏼
Cattle cars in the sky, I like that!
❤❤ This is from an 84 yr. old lady who absolutely agrees with everything you said about traveling. Love and blessings to you both.
Im an Introvert. And I love it. My home all to myself ❤❤❤
I have never had a more enjoyable 24:57 minutes! You two are amazingly adorable.
That’s a lot of travel but my dream is to explore Europe. It’s so beautiful and full of history.
There is no place like home.
I totally relate. My tiny home is my favorite place to be 😌
As I get older, I can totally relate to staying home and restricting travel.
Each time I watch one of your discussion videos, you both become more and more endearing. Yall are both hilarious! Katie is a hoot!
I used to take yearly trips, but I'm in my fifties now. I love my house, my wife, and my dog, I love my town and my church, I love my own cooking, and I have stayed in far too many sketchy hotels. My travel days are pretty much over. Thanks, and God bless!
Totally agree Now a days no one is safe anywhere anymore Even at a local store Too much madness anymore I don’t even watch the News on TV
Boy did I need to hear this. I was the same way traveling. Now I am so content to be home and bloom on my corner!
It’s not just you, we feel the same 😁
The older I’ve gotten, the state of crime, etc the less I enjoy traveling and I enjoy being at home.
That’s good advice, thank you.
Thank u girls. I havnt laffed so hard in a long time. P S...Katie will be ok, because many of us are praying for her!❤
❤️
Y'all are so cute. I love listening to y'all talk. Sounds homey. Like Mississippi.
I'm from Mississippi too!! 👋🏻
I agree... Traveling is a hassle! Unfortunately, it's a necessity at times. God bless you ladies! ❤
I'm with you! I love just being at home. I like getting together with friends, etc but I feel most comfortable at home.
It's not about having cabin fever,it's about seeing and exploring this beautiful earth❤
I agree. And eating new foods, understanding someone else’s customs and foods.
@@nancyjohnson6867 yes!!!!
I find my joy and peace on my home turf
@@nancyjohnson6867Traveling too much has got me craving regular, American food. Just familiar - nothing strange appeals to me more than ever! Seeing too much Octopus and other stuff is overrated.
Go and don't come back😂
You guys are so much like my family I feel like we're related lol. My mother would rather fight a bobcat than get on an escalator.
😆
🤣
This comment cracked me up 😂😂😂
@@hereigns7221 No joke. We had 1 escalator in our town at a Belk store. When i was a kid, there was nothing that was going to get her on it. I'd even get on by myself as a 6 year old to prove nothing would happen, but she wouldn't budge lol
@@cybrnathan Thank you for making all of our days by sharing this. 😂🥰
I’ve traveled since my mom passed to find my “hometown”.. the feeling of my childhood .. but it’s always in the south 😊
But as a child - I NEVER wanted to spend the night away from home!
I don’t know why, but I’m really surprised on your views regarding travel. There’s a whole world out there waiting to be explored. 🌎😊
❤️🌹🌹❤️ I'm just like that too
It gets easier & more fun once u do it more often & become comfortable with what to expect & what comes next!
Katie, yes on the pew pew!!!!! I'm not comfortable traveling!!!!! Amen on lock it and glock it! Love it!!!!!
Just started watching yalls and your parents videos! The hubby and I love you guys! Don’t change, you be you! Can’t wait to see the babies!
Thank you! I feel the same way! Travel is such a fun adventure.
🙏
I am with you I hate being up in the air. I get awful headaches and I do like sitting so close to someone i do not know for hours. Besides I do not want to die up there. I have a girl friend who can't stay in one place for long, she gets bored. I am retired now and I love it. My home is my sanctuary.
I can relate. Nice to hear from similar souls lol!
I'm not a travel person.
I wish I was. I see some benefit it in, but nope, not me.
I fear heights and crowds so that makes an airport scary to me.
The more this video went on, you can tell your anxiety level was rising. You guys are the best!! I have travel anxiety too! Love you both.
Well said ❤️
I'm with you.
I love 💕 my Cabin ❤❤i don’t despise flying if I need to get somewhere fast ❤❤
I dont like traveling anymore. Hate traffic. Don't like eating out. I love cooking and eating at home and my garden. 🌻👣
Traveling does broaden your horizons. Katie...you were so excited going out west. Maybe just need a place with great rocks or that interests you. 😮❤
Lol everytime I go somewhere I cant wait to get back home. Love ya'll ❣God Bless🙏
❤️
Much love.
I would love to see some of the sites you described. I only wish I could be “beamed up” by Scotty and return the same way.
I love you ladies always wonderful to watching your videos thanks for sharing your lifes with all of us. Bless you all.
You two have kept a Big Smile on my face, and I've needed it!!! God Bless. Jean ❣
Agree-- I have always despised travel of any kind... in fact I never liked being away from my home base for any length of time,
I prefer to be home or around home and do things in my small sphere------
🙏
I’m a homebody, I’ve been on vacation this week and haven’t been further than the mailbox. I do work and basically go to work and come back home.
I love traveling to the mountains!! I want to move there
I am from WNC and I feel the same way about traveling 😀
Im right there with ya ladies, i grew up in the mountains of WV and that's more that enough beauty and adventure that one can enjoy!
Lock it or Glock it😂 I LOVE IT, LoL!!! I got ta remember that one. And Miss Katie you are so right, if i hafta leave my peacemaker behind then i dont go either!!!
Ladies, this video was pure AWESOMELY AWESOMENESS!!!😁
I'd just like to give a shout out to all the homebodies out there "Hey y'all"👋🤠 God Bless my country folk🙏 Jay.
🙏🤠
Used to enjoy some travel when younger but now enjoy sticking cloe to home. Things you brought up I agree with. I like y'alls dresses or tops.
God bless you’ thank you!
You are so FUNNY! And I feel the same way about travel!
My grandmother, born and raised in southern Illinois only left the state once in her 92 years of life, and that was to Texas to get married in the middle of WWII.
Wow ❤️
It's so nice to hear from girls close to my own age who do not like traveling! I have traveled some, but always can't wait for it to be over and get back home haha. I've always felt like such a weirdo. 😆
I can relate! What also makes me nervous about hotels is bed bugs. I can't help it. I traveled to Mexico twice and it was nice but stressful at the airports and customs. I always envisioned myself falling down the escalator with my suitcase and knocking people over. Yikes!! I like to stay home and cook and do crafts. I am so good with that. You girls are just the greatest ❤️
Have you ever visited another country or just stayed in the US? Love your channel! Love from England 🇬🇧 ❤
Never been out of the states 😁
