What a fun day. That handle on the Corningware dish was common, when I was a kid we had one, they snapped on and off. It is nostalgic for me to see one again. So awesome ❤

One year my sister painted Christmas scenes on old wooden blocks and made Christmas ornaments.

What a fun day! My mom and I always loved to go to the flea markets, yard sales, etc. The lemonade looked delicious, so did the hot dog! You girls are such beauties, inside and out. Its so refreshing to see 2 young ladies that love the Lord, and share their faith with the world, God is using you ladies in this platform...sharing your faith and your experiences. Keep it up because you dont know how many people that you are touching out there. May you grow ever closer to God and may He continue to use you to resch out to others. ❤

Thank you for taking us along in your journey to the flea market. That handle that was attached to the Corning ware dish you mentioned is actually interchangeable on other Corning ware. What a great time you both had! That's a nice flea market. My husband and I used to go to our local flea market every weekend. It was fun walking around and looking at some great things. That is the most amazing flea market! I loved the sense of community, folks just singing and strumming, and the roosters - I want them for my yard. Katie is looking more and more beautiful with that Mama gorgeousness.

Oh no. That afghan was exactly the same as my Grandma made me. It was stored when I moved and bugs torn it apart in the box. I was so crushed. Grandma died in a bunch of years ago and I miss her and grandpa so much. I’m so crying seeing that afghan. Just about all my family treasures are gone. Most were stolen out of storage or disappeared in moves across country. But most of all I miss my grandparents- all 4 of them. Love you guys. God bless you and thanks for all your videos. I can’t remember if I wished you all Happy Birthday in a past video or not. So glad you girls could have a good day together. I loved the singing and playing at the beginning of the video. My mother had one of those handles for the Corningware. It was interchangeable. The hotdog and lemonade looked so good. Beef hotdogs is what my family prefers. Thanks for taking us along. ❤😊🙏

The handle is really necessary if you use the corning ware, and it is universal for all of the corning ware sizes.

I use to love going out doing this even if i didn't get to buy anything. I miss being able to do this and other things like getting out enjoying making a day of it. That is an original corningware handle on that pot. Corningware has lead :( I love flea markets. I love the little book table. wow the visionware double boiler.

That was fun!! We used to go to that flea market and have a hot dog from the hot dog lady who is no longer there. That was cute about Johnny and the lemonade. While you are being thankful about things, include your good eyesight. I haven’t been able to drive for years because of deteriorating eyesight due to several issues. But, I am thankful for the vision I do have. Enjoyed watching the lemonade get made.
Ohhh I loved all the kitchen stuff you girls were showing! I have a “sickness” for picking up all kinds of bowls, and dishes of a glass variety Pyrex and Corningware especially. I love old glass doorknobs and antique keys, and antique hand tools kitchen or carpentry. It looks like this was a fun day!
Next year I vote we share our birthday celebrations! They are in the same week, anyway! 😂

Corie, I saw a white tale hawk
early this morning.
The first thing that caught my eye was the white tale. Then I remembered yor viedo on hawk. So I stopped to take a closer look.
It was sitting on a utility wire; maybe looking for breakfast.
I have only seen hawks flying, never one perched. It sure was a treat.😍

You can change the color of Hydrangeas by putting a rusty nail or two in the dirt under it. The more the iron the darker the flowers will get. Thank you for taking us along🌸

That handle on the Corning Ware was an accessory you could purchase separately. My mom had one or two. Very easy to use, and kept you from burning yourself on a hot dish. They weren’t oven safe, you just locked it on when you took the dish out of the oven.
I love going to the flea market with you girls! And did you know, when you find a feather, any feather, it is sent by someone you love who has passed, to let you know they are okay and they are with you right now. Truth. I'm thinking some of those might have been from Miss Cindy. Bless you both and Katie, I keep you and your sweet baby in my prayers. And I'm praying for your grandmother now too. Those are good spots, ladies. You appreciate objects based on both their utility to someone at some time and also for the small touches of beauty that some items brought into the home of one who admired them. What I always think of is how an object was important to a life at some point and then was later deemed to be sellable or disposable as a life progressed or ended. I am mindful that things I find useful or beautiful will find their way to a similar venue someday, awaiting someone like you to see and appreciate them years later and re-adopt them. Much like you do with music and vernacular of your region.

Corey, when you were talking about collecting feathers it reminded me of when I went up to Juno, AK to visit my daughter. We spent some time at a small lake and there were lots of eagles and I found an eagle feather along the shore and brought it back home with me to WA state... years later I mentioned it to a fellow teacher and I was told I needed to throw it away as it was illegal for non natives to possess eagle feathers. Made me sad to do it but I did get rid of it. I actually save feathers that my Amazon parrot drops, especially like the ones with a bit of yellow and red on it besides the common green.
