I know this is a relatively old comment but I had the same idea. The biggest struggle I'm having at the moment is finding a way to power the Pi 5 as many of the available portable power supplies aren't quite powerful enough, was wondering if you'd come up with a solution?
Thanks for this video, I've been looking for a new good ALFA card to replace my old one. Now it's in the mail. :) Getting a RasPI 5 is harder, they are all out of stock!
Thank you for consistently sharing fantastic content. I recently acquired a Pi 5, but I'm having trouble finding the Kali ARM file for it. I followed your instructions step by step, but my Pi 5 doesn't seem to recognize the OS. I recall you mentioning that the Kali website lacks the Pi 5 ARM file. Could you please share where you obtained the file? Also, I'm curious about your experience with the v1.2 (64-bit) version and how well it worked for you.
If you had read the main comment, specifically @t.b.6880, you would have known that I was inquiring about the .xz file compatible with the Raspberry Pi 5. If you conduct thorough research, you'll discover the .xz file. I'm currently enjoying my Raspberry Pi 5 with Kali installed.
