Quick crash course on JOJO and op info. Part 1(PHANTOM BLOOD) Jonathan Joestar, 1880-1889, 1 Opening (No Variations) (op:1) Power: The Ripple/ also referred to as Hamon, is an energy used in the ancient form of martial arts. Through self-controlled respiration(breath control), a trained person can produce an energy manifesting as ripples throughout their body and that is identical to the energy of the Sun Part 2(BATTLE TENDENCY) Joseph Joestar (Grandson of Jonathan), 1938-1939, 1 Opening (No Variations) (op:2) Power: The Ripple. Part 3(STARDUST CRUSADERS) Jotaro Kujo (Grandson of Joseph), 1988-1989, 2 Openings (1 Variation) (op:3&4, op4 variation after main villain's power is found out) Power: Stand/ is a visual manifestation of life energy (in other words, the manifestation of the soul of the user). A Stand is an entity psychically generated by its owner, referred to as a Stand User. It generally presents itself as a figure hovering over or near the user and possesses abilities beyond that of an ordinary human. Part 4(DIAMOND IS UNBREAKABLE) Josuke Higashikata (Son of (spoiler)), 1999, 3 Openings (2 Variations) (op 5,6&7, op5 variation after character progression in main cast, op7 variation after villain's power is found out) Power: Stand Part 5(Vento Aureo(Golden Wind)), Giorno Giovanna (Son of (spoiler)) 2001, 2 openings (3 Variations) (op 8&9, op 9 changes after villain's power is found out and then again after power shift) Power: Stand Part 6 (STONE OCEAN) Jolyne Cujoh (Daughter of Jotaro) 2011-2012, 2 openings (1 Variation) (op 10&11, op 11 variation after (Spoiler)) Power: Stand
Yayyyy Jojo!!!🔥🔥🔥 As you can tell from Some of the op’s Jojo the show isnt 3d just the openings on some. First two parts they use hamon which is like this sunlight breathing technique. Then after that they have stands which is a Psychic manifestation of their fighting spirit. Each part has very diffrent aspects like part 1 takes place in Victorian England in the late 1800’s, part 2 in late 1930’s, part 3 is more world wide adventure. Part 4 is slice of life murder mystery, part 5 is Italian mafia and 6 is prison break in Florida lol It follows a main “Jojo” but older ones can pop up as well.
Btw. Opening 10 also had second version. Which I never understand why some compilations skip, when it's actively the opening for Cour 2 of Stone Ocean and with a significant change to the end of the song.
Basically the way the mc of each part works, which is how the seasons are labeled in Jojos, they’re all apart of one bloodline of Jojos. So the first opening is part 1, which includes Jonathan Joestar, both his names contain Jo, so that makes jojo, Part 2- which was opening 2 is Joseph Joestar Part 3- op 3 and 4 is Jotaro Kujo Part 4- op 5, 6, and 7 is Josuke Higashikata, but since he’s still in the joestar bloodline he’s still a jojo Part 5- op 8 9 is Giorno Giovanna, the Gios in his name are like Jojo or GioGio Part 6- op 10 and 11 is Jolyne Cujoh that’s pretty much the reason, hope this helped.
Also Jonathan joestar is the one with bluish hair, Joseph is the one with the brown hair, jotaro is the one with the trench coat and black hat, josuke is the one with the funky hair cut, giorno is the one with the gold yellow hair, Jolyne is the one with the green hair
@@xotiic1-x I find it weird that even though Joseph has brown hair, the second opening depicts him with purple hair, unless it was purple in the colored manga
@@DLFamReactions JoJo's manga is still being written too! For Part 7 the mc is Johnny Joestar, Part 8 would be Josuke higashikata (again, technically) And part 9 would be Jodio Joestar.
Jojo’s bizarre adventure follows a family bloodline so each jojo is someone different further along the family tree. They all get the nickname jojo because their first and last names contain a “jo” in it (for example one of them is named JOtaro KuJO)
one thing i notice about these kind of reaction videos is sometimes people will say "this reminds me of X" or something like that. JoJos is most likely what inspired that thing. the original manga started in 1987
Brief summary in power scales Part 1 and part 2 : hamon( breathing technique based on sunlight or its energy) Part 3 beyond are stands or punching ghost if you will are the manifistation of thier psych or fighting spirit and each one of them is different according to the deep personality of its user the stronger thier mentality the stronger the stand
its all mental energy basically. in s1 and 2 its the ripple kinda like chi but relies on breathing and mental focus. then stands get introduced and they are basically extensions of themselves with abilities that operate on and that reflect their mental strength. and every part is a new jojo and all the variations of openings are usually at the last couple eps and reflect a plot development. jojos is not only a shounen but one of the oldest and most influential but you are right its unique.
Joseph from opening 2 is the old man from opening 3-4 from part 3. Then return in part 4 in op 2. While Jotaro who is wearing a cap from opening 3 part 3 will return in part 4 and 6. While part 5 from golden wind is a different character.
So basically the power system of jojo's stands is that there is none. The stands are a manifestation of their fighting spirit/will so basically the stronger their will the stronger the stand (this is not true all the time) . Only a stand can hurt another stand but a stand can be stopped if you deal with its user. Each stand has their own special power/ability and very rarely can 2 stands have the same one
You are absolutely right in guessing that Jojo have time related powers involved. To be accurate, the main villains in each arc have time related powers. The openings usually show what is going on from a normal perspective, but when their powers are revealed, they show you the "full" opening because the viewers are in the know now and understand what the villains' powers do. The things you don't see because of their time powers are then shown in full display. Like in End of the World, you see a figure suddenly appearing behind the MC, and then he just turned around and started punching. Then when the powers of the villain is revealed, they show you what is truly going on. This is going to be a spoiler, but the main villain Stopped Time and then walked to the location behind the MC. The MC was the only person who was able to "see" and react to the villain's powers, which is why he immediately turned around and started punching.

@@Nitram4392 No, it doesn't manipulate fate directly. It manipulates fate in a roundabout way that he reads 10 sec into the future and then he can delete up to 10 sec worth of time. He deletes the time unfavourable to him to change the outcome of the future he foresaw. He doesn't erase everyone's memories of those time he deleted. They simply don't remember them because those time don't exist anymore. You can't remember something that doesn't exist, but because he was the one who deleted it, he still remembers them. This is why after he deleted time, people suddenly find themselves in a different position, location or doing something different, like it suddenly glitched out. That's how Polnareff learned to use his blood drops to count the number of seconds that had passed. If the blood drops suddenly increased it meant time has been deleted or "skipped forward". If King Crimson simply manipulated fate then this phenomenon won't have happened. The only Stand that directly manipulate fate is Wonder of U from Jojolion. It works like Killer Queen's Bites the Dust, that when someone try to pursue or investigate the Stand or its owner, that person will be met with calamity, much like how Bites the Dust will activate and blow up anyone trying to investigate Kira and then turning back time.
JoJo part 1 through the beginning of part 7 were serialized in shonen jump but the rest of part 7 through part 9 were serialized in ultra jump. Part 7 and 8 are currently manga only same with part 9 but that's still ongoing. I believe it's at chapter 17 currently.
Some would say it's almost... bizarre! I'm glad it looks like you two started watching, I hope you enjoy it. As a note there's a few extra variations of the openings not included in that video where certain reveals as they happen in the anime get added to the openings (such as character silhouettes becoming visible, powers being visible, etc) and there's an extra version of each opening that includes sound effects usually. I'd say definitely re-watch the openings once you've seen the series, you'll probably notice the openings tell you more than realize! Time is a big deal in the series though so you're on the money there, I hope you look forward to finding out all the mysteries. 👍
Just to clarify the openings of each season (Part 1 and 2 are one season, but happen in different time periods, and are therefore different parts) as well as the "main character distribution" I guess Part 1 - Opening 1 - First JoJo Part 2 - Opening 2 - Second JoJo Part 3 - Openings 3 & 4 - Third JoJo Part 4 - Openings 5, 6, 7 & 8 - Fourth JoJo Part 5 - Openings 9 & 10 - Fifth JoJo Part 6 - Openings 11 & 12 - Sixth JoJo
Bro, the sheer amount of people that confuse Caesar with Dio is ridiculous. Just because they both have blond hair doesn't mean they're the same person.
every season has a different jojo. Some parts have more than 1 op.The jojo og the part 5 season with the gangsters is the yellow haired one called giorno. You prob didnt noticed but on the last op very last when it shows the clock and timestops it goes back to op 1 scene
@@grandethar1121 not at all really, even though they did release the same year jojos came out over 8 months before streetfighter but it wasnt really until street fighter 2 that the inspiration started to show in the artwork for street fighter, then later on there were way more direct references to jojo in specific characters but thats not the same as taking ispiration for the art style, jojo on the other hand took nothing that we know of from street fighter and while there may be a few minor references, again, thats just acknowledging similarities, not taking inspiration
There are way more than 6 "seasons". JoJo is split into parts of various lengths, each part having a different Jojo. Parts 1 and 2 are a single 26ish episode season, parts 3-6 are each 45+ episodes split into 2 "seasons". All of the main characters are from the same Jostat family bloodline
This isn't anything against you guys, but... my wish is that, one day, there's a video that _actually_ has all JoJo openings in it. Opening 11, for example, has another version that this one omitted, and most openings also have an "SFX" version where they add sound effects for everything happening in the opening. Some openings with two versions even have an SFX version for each, well, version.

time to give a TL:DR on jojo for you Each part follows Jojo from a different time period, each MC is a part of the jojo bloodline with very little exception, the time gimmick starts in PT 3 when stands are introduced PT 1 - People with sun breathing powers vs vampires and zombies PT 2 - Similar people vs aztech deitys PT 3 - the introduction of stands, basically magic spirits you control based on your personality and ideals, like the pt 3 Jojo's stand, star platinum, anyway, the badguy from pt 1 is back and they need to deal with em, as for the whole gimmick with time, this part starts the trend, with stopping time PT 4 - gang of high schoolers with stands persue a serial killer, with the MC's from pt 2 and 3 returning for a bit, gimmick of rewinding time PT 5 - Kid peruses goal to become a gang star so kids arnt sold drugs, gets mixed in lotta stuff, gimmick of skipping time PT 6 - MC gets thrown in prison, and a bunch of other stuff happens, gimmick of speeding up time
@Nitram4392 King Crimson is really not that complicated:- 1. Epitaph: He sees the actions determined by fate for up to 10 seconds in the future. 2. Time erasure: it allows Diavolo for up to 10 seconds to move in "erased time" BUT, there are a couple rules to follow: A) The fate/ what everyone and everything is fated to happen, will happen regardless of time erasure (it's deleting the cause but leaving the affect) B) rule (A) will always happen UNLESS Diavolo interferes (only through using King Crimson) in a way that changes his or anyone else's fate. C) Diavolo has limitations to what he can do in "erased time": 1. can't directly harm or interact with someone 2.But he can interact with things that used to be part of the person (like spilled blood) D) Fated version of Diavolo: If Diavolo uses time erasure, the actions he was supposed to do (like say he picks up a bottle and throws it) The bottle will still be thrown even if Diavolo uses time erasure and doesn't throw the bottle.

Basically, stands use your vital power and every stand manifests as the user's soul.
we look forward to getting into the series more! thank you for watching!
Just to clarify the openings of each season (Part 1 and 2 are one season, but happen in different time periods, and are therefore different parts) as well as the "main character distribution" I guess
Part 1 - Opening 1 - First JoJo
Part 2 - Opening 2 - Second JoJo
Part 3 - Openings 3 & 4 - Third JoJo
Part 4 - Openings 5, 6, 7 & 8 - Fourth JoJo
Part 5 - Openings 9 & 10 - Fifth JoJo
Part 6 - Openings 11 & 12 - Sixth JoJo
we're currently watching part 1 so we're excited!
Bro, the sheer amount of people that confuse Caesar with Dio is ridiculous. Just because they both have blond hair doesn't mean they're the same person.
They kind of look similar so I can see them confusing watchers lol
Ain't that deep lil bro
every season has a different jojo. Some parts have more than 1 op.The jojo og the part 5 season with the gangsters is the yellow haired one called giorno. You prob didnt noticed but on the last op very last when it shows the clock and timestops it goes back to op 1 scene
we'll have to watch it again once we get further into jojo!
Street fighter and persona were both heavily influenced by jojo
I can definitely see that!
Street fighter influence Jojo as well. Because both series also release in 1987.
JoJo is Peak
We keep hearing that lol
jojo's so good, I'd recommend it to you
There are way more than 6 "seasons". JoJo is split into parts of various lengths, each part having a different Jojo. Parts 1 and 2 are a single 26ish episode season, parts 3-6 are each 45+ episodes split into 2 "seasons". All of the main characters are from the same Jostat family bloodline
It's not weird it's Bizzare 🔥
"it's the same no it's different" XD
We couldn't tell 😂
This isn't anything against you guys, but... my wish is that, one day, there's a video that _actually_ has all JoJo openings in it.
Opening 11, for example, has another version that this one omitted, and most openings also have an "SFX" version where they add sound effects for everything happening in the opening. Some openings with two versions even have an SFX version for each, well, version.
Cool video, like your reaction!
Thank you for watching!
stands are the mana and chi itself of the system
Power system
Part 1 & 2 hamon
All other parts stands
How about spin in part 7? Shame we didn't get more of it in part 8.
@@Vasyoknatraktore251 Hmm. you're right.
but I think It's more of a add-on since they didn't remove stands In favor of It
@@Vasyoknatraktore251 Doesn't Hat Josuke use spin for Go Beyond?
@@obedvc9dx Well,GB bubbles are called "explosive spin",but it's not the same spin that for example Gyro used.
Maybe they're called "explosive spin" because they're spinning so rapidly,i don't know for sure but J8suke does not use spin.

I love watching people react to OP 4 v2, and absolutely gaslighting themselves into thinking there’s a difference before the actual difference comes up
That threw us for a trip!

thanks lemone! we just try to be ourselves! plus whenever we decide to record our kids are asleep lol

It's obscure info for wayyyy into the series
3:50 Ngl i think JoJo's was based off street fighters
I could definitely see the similarities lol
streetfighter (at least some characters) was based off of jojo actually iirc
time to give a TL:DR on jojo for you
Each part follows Jojo from a different time period, each MC is a part of the jojo bloodline with very little exception, the time gimmick starts in PT 3 when stands are introduced
PT 1 - People with sun breathing powers vs vampires and zombies
PT 2 - Similar people vs aztech deitys
PT 3 - the introduction of stands, basically magic spirits you control based on your personality and ideals, like the pt 3 Jojo's stand, star platinum, anyway, the badguy from pt 1 is back and they need to deal with em, as for the whole gimmick with time, this part starts the trend, with stopping time
PT 4 - gang of high schoolers with stands persue a serial killer, with the MC's from pt 2 and 3 returning for a bit, gimmick of rewinding time
PT 5 - Kid peruses goal to become a gang star so kids arnt sold drugs, gets mixed in lotta stuff, gimmick of skipping time
PT 6 - MC gets thrown in prison, and a bunch of other stuff happens, gimmick of speeding up time
ahh so no stands in pt 1 & 2?
@@DLFamReactions yeah in pt 1 and 2 they use "Hamon" which is some kind of sun energy breathing thingy
Bruno Bucciarati a black hair girl?!😂
OHHHHHHHH
its jojo....everybody has time powers
Except for Emperor Crimson, who's ability just works.
@Nitram4392
King Crimson is really not that complicated:-
1. Epitaph: He sees the actions determined by fate for up to 10 seconds in the future.
2. Time erasure: it allows Diavolo for up to 10 seconds to move in "erased time"
BUT, there are a couple rules to follow:
A) The fate/ what everyone and everything is fated to happen, will happen regardless of time erasure (it's deleting the cause but leaving the affect)
B) rule (A) will always happen UNLESS Diavolo interferes (only through using King Crimson) in a way that changes his or anyone else's fate.
C) Diavolo has limitations to what he can do in "erased time":
1. can't directly harm or interact with someone
2.But he can interact with things that used to be part of the person (like spilled blood)
D) Fated version of Diavolo:
If Diavolo uses time erasure, the actions he was supposed to do (like say he picks up a bottle and throws it)
The bottle will still be thrown even if Diavolo uses time erasure and doesn't throw the bottle.
Only five people have time powers. 5 people in 30 years.
@SwiftJustice
And that's too damn much
Also it's 6 not 5
Why not reacting to Shadowverse's openings ?^^
What is that?
@@DLFamReactions a kind of card game anime, with many cool openings ^^

Now give us anime reactions
How long is the anime?
@@DLFamReactions the anime has 5 seasons in total as of the anime but in the manga it has 9 parts in total in which 9th part is still going on. So the production house of JoJo's actually included the first part and 2nd part in 1 season that's why 5 seasons have been animated but 6 parts from the manga have been animated. We call seasons as parts in the jojo fandom 1st part has both 1st and 2nd part included together then 4 more parts are waiting for yall. The first parts are a little slow because they were written in the 1980's but after that it just keeps going forward to greatness. The anime is long but it will be a crazy adventure for yall definitely consider checking it out
Trying to discern the overall story of JoJo just from watching the OPs is an exercise in absolute futility.
It's impossible lol
No ur so wrong u got me upset
We didn’t know anything about jojo before we started this lol sorry
@@DLFamReactions no i understand and trust i kept that in mind as i was watching, lord did i try keeping in mind but it just hurt

Oh we figured they were coming! Lol
JoJo's stand power is meant to be the "inner fight will" or something, so it manifests without energy or anything you just need to want to fight or act
