He got a ruined economy, in a very hard political situation in the country and outside, and left a better country to his successor.
I will remember this man as the best american president during my time.

I've lived through 9 U.S. Presidents in my lifetime and I can say without reservations Barack Obama is the greatest by far!!! Great farewell speech, Mr. President!

Personally, I couldn't care much for President Obama for reasons that involve his neglect/destruction in the Middle East but other than that, through and through, he has held America together better than many prior presidents that the gentleman above mentioned. Early morning today after I woke up I switched on my TV and found President Obama a couple of minutes away from completing his farewell speech. I was moved by his words, wisdom and poise. Though he is leaving the white house it felt like he was charging for a new term.
I will personally miss him for his words, wisdom, style and calmness even when things looked worse. President Obama is an unmatched world class leader.
Tonight he gracefully exited the stage and now getting ready to pass the button to President elect Donald Trump. I wish him and his family well.

Didn't vote for him and don't agree with a lot of his policies. That being said I think over all this man was a good president with a wonderful family. Even if I didn't agree with what he was saying I enjoyed listening to him say it. He was and I think will be remembered best for being an incredible public speaker. I do indeed think it would be self-evident that the head of the department that is in charge of preventing air and water pollution should indeed believe that that job is necessary... Hate is a strong word. Legit criticisms of him are in his policies foreign and domestic. Abroad he's cucked American presence on the world stage, let jobs leave in droves and let Isis rise (though I don't blame him TOO much on that since shit is always going down there). Domestically, President Obama has been nothing short of catastrophic for race relations, setting them back to the 1960's. When he took office many people believed he might finally diffuse race relations for good.... eight years later and segregation is back in colleges and there's a race riot every other week. I am not from US, but I feel so proud because of Barack Obama, he could be one of the best presidents ever in this country. I hope Trump will follow the same way of respect, humility like Obama's has.

For eight years, Barack Obama was the Leader of the Free World, a beacon of rational thought and common sense on this great nation..... _before the dark times_ ....... *before the Trump administration* .....
I truly doubt that there will ever again, emerge out of our country, such a political genius.
I still can't believe the how drastically things are going to change... just feel his class... and whatever is happening or is going to happen in 10 days...
