Mine is currently pumping fuel and I hear the blower motor turning. It pumps some much fuel I can see it leaking. Do you think the excessive leaking fuel possibly damaged the cad eye cell?
What if the blower motor runs without the burner switch being on. As soon as I turn on my ign switch blower comes on w therm off and power switch off. New water coil, press switch, and ignitor fully rewired. Any input would be appreciated
Hi, I have an issue with diesel burner igniter, I am in Canada. after I turn fan on, igniter will produce spark for ten seconds and then shut off, "please note no fuel supply at this moment". When I repeat procedure right away, no spark at all. Only if I wait 5 seconds and turn fan on again, spark will be present for ten seconds again. So, the problem is if I won't squeeze pressure washing gun in 10 seconds I won't have ignition, and fuel pump will shoot diesel into the coil chamber. Igniter won't start working again until I turn fan off, wait 5 seconds and turn it back on. It's a new unit, and I don't think it should work that way. Any advice or solution would be much appreciated. Thank you
I am facing a problem with this kind of oil burner in Greece. Should the ignitor remain on for as long as the fire is burning? Or, should the ignitor turn off , after the fire is lit?
If you have no photocell the igniter will remain on. If you have a photocell the igniter will turn off. Once a flame is established the igniter does not need to remain on. This also makes it to where your burner will use less amperage.
you need to show one where it all missed up to see the difference. Even a photo dropped in to see it... Very good video Marco you guys did a good job!
If it's messed up, it simply won't spark.
Outstanding video. I may need an igniter and I'll know who to call.
Ty very good explanation, much appreciated
Thank you for watching!
Great video. Dad rocks. Thanks.
Thanks for the share, good info.
Thanks WashMart!!
Hi Marco, can you ask your dad what's the benefit of bypassing the sight. The 2 yellow wires are cut and tapped off separately.

@@washmart8616 I will try to make it turn off. I appreciate your response!
@@mixaliskapodistrias6260 you're welcome! I love knowing the Greeks are seeing our videos!
Mine works well for a maybe an hour, then out of no where produces alot of black heavy smoke. Any ideas?
Most of the time it is because it's still injecting fuel when there is no flame, even if just for a moment will cause this
I have this same problem and it's very frustrating. I think it's an intermittent ignitor problem.
Any fix? I have this problem too. I'm waiting to install a new nozzle.
@@atm1513 it stopped doing it on its own
Or you can just ohm the springs should be between 480/580 more than 10%above those no good
