    rich eisen expressed exactly what I thought, I just couldn't put into words. There was so many things done, for no reason.

    My biggest problems with the GOT Finale:
    1. Where did she get 10,000 extra unsullied and Dothraki? Suddenly she has a HUGE army again despite years of them fighting and dying.
    2. Bran is King...of what? All of Kings landing is destroyed. It appears 99% of the residents were killed too.
    3. King Bran has no military...his families army (the North) will stay in the North with Queen Sansa. Baan has no way to defend Kings Landing.
    4. Why is Bron master of coin? Hes a cut throat. Meaning hes probably illiterate. WTF?

      1. huge army? she has a fraction of what she had before the battle of winterfell
      2. bran is king of westeros, minus the north. kings landing is a single city.
      3. he has all the military. everyone is pledge to him.
      4. why not? hes the lord of highgarden. now that the lannisters are gone, highgarden is probably one of the most valuable/profitable territories in the world.

    Nailed every weak point for the final season, especially the final episode. GOT is an excellent series that (in terms Rich can appreciate) DROPPED THE BALL big time in the end.

    Jon is not a Targaryen in the books, he is in fact dead in the books. The real son of Rhagar is invading the stormlands when the last book ended. As far as we know Jon was brought back to life due to his popularity on the show.

      Yeah but young griff is like 95% a blackfyre and not the true born son of rheagar. Dan and Dave knowing that R+L=J was the thing that made George green light the show in the first place. He’ll be brought back and will have something to do with the end of the white walkers in the book, whether he kills the night king or they come to peaceful terms as has been hinted at numerous times.

    Rich - Bran was in control the whole time - just as he made the "mad king" go crazy - he made "Dany" go bonkers and break bad. Bran was pulling the strings as the Three Eyed Raven - and as the "Lord of Light" throughout the series. He saw his path to "the throne" way back - and he manipulated everything to get himself to his desired ending.

    A better end.
    Leave everything as it is up to the point where the bells ring, but Drogon only destroys the fortifications holding the huge crossbows that threaten it and killed its sibling.
    Jaime finds Cersei and they embrace, but aren’t killed by a landslide.
    Daenerys dismounts Drogon and joins Jon in the red tower searching for Jamie and Cersei
    They catch up with them in the throne room. Jon battles Jaime and Dany fights Cersei.
    Jon defeats and mortally wounds Jaime, whose final words are something about love over truth.
    Cersei pulls a dagger and kills Dany as Jon arrives too late to save her.
    It looks like Cersei is going to escape, but rather than run, she gets that smug evil grin on her face as she hides behind the iron throne watching Jon weep over Dany‘s lifeless body.
    In the flickering shadows we slowly see the silhouette of Drogon appear behind Cersei and the iron throne.
    Flames engulf and melt the throne as we hear Cersei’s anguished screams.
    Tyrion rushes into the room to find his dead brother, where he weeps and says something or other about duty over love.
    At that point, go to the scene where the the council meets, with Jon and Tyrion
    declining the throne.
    The council decides to make Bran the King. Jon is so distraught at Dany’s death, he returns to the solace of the wall.
    Everything else ends as portrayed.

    I agree with everything said. But Bran, he`s the evil one. Since the Night king touched him and made him his, he was manipulating history to have the throne. And he got it. He said to Jon, you were where you where always supposed to be. Bran orchestrated everything to have his ass on the throne. And Evil won.

    The House of Stark won in the end.
    King of the 6 Kingdoms
    Queen of The North
    And let’s me honest Jon will end up leading the Free Folk.
    Arya is still a badass

    Bran planned it all. Jon was the fall guy. The Unsullied were offered a house to start (procreation is essential to building a house). Omniscient Bran needs a master of whisperers. Jon joins a worthless Night’s Watch. Bronn illiterate and no understanding of loans is master of coin. Dothraki become upstanding taxpaying citizens. Unsullied were going to kill Jon for grabbing Greyworm but they only arrest him for killing Dany. Dothraki don’t give a poop about the murder of their messiah. One layer of bricks killed Jaime and Cersie (5 ft to the side of their pile was empty.etc etc

    I agree on all points made by Rich. Sloppy and lazy writing that started in season 7. The show should have been atleast 10 seasons.

    The dragon is taking Danerys to the red priest to bring her back to life. Story is not over yet.

  • @SrSplash
    @SrSplash 5 років тому +3

    The Unsullied wouldn’t have let Jon be king, so that’s why he wasn’t mentioned as an option. They had to propose a solution that wouldn’t piss the Unsullied off.

    • @Norel_Nieves
      @Norel_Nieves 5 років тому +2

      The unsullied had 0% chance of carrying out any or their threats.
      At full power, they had 8,000 men. They lost half at Winterfell.
      Dorne lost 0 men in this war, had the other lords wanted, they could have utterly destroyed the unsullied army in a Minute.

    • @SrSplash
      @SrSplash 5 років тому

      Norel Nieves Yes they would have gotten crushed in a heartbeat, but they would probably prefer executing Jon and then all dying in the ensuing battle rather than seeing the man who murdered their queen on the (now non-existent) throne

    • @Norel_Nieves
      @Norel_Nieves 5 років тому

      Zachary Moniz they still let him leave anyways, which was stupid in my opinion, since grayworm would not let that go

    • @SrSplash
      @SrSplash 5 років тому

      Norel Nieves it was explained that the reason they let him leave was because of the “compromise” of sending him to the wall instead of killing him, which seemed like weak writing to me but whatever. I wanted to see a Jon Snow-Greyworm fight the entire episode, so the staredown at the docks was a big letdown

    • @gjulia312
      @gjulia312 5 років тому

      @@SrSplash But Unsullied leader - GreyvWorm then proceeded to left KLanding to go to Naarth. So Unsullied could be forced to accept Jon.

    The season was rushed . Like Aaron Rodgers said . These writers got Star Wars from Disney so it was rushed . And the King shits and the hand wipes

  • @fockewulf4409

    Bronn doesn’t understand how interest works, yet he is Master of Coin. Jon‘s lineage meant nothing. Tyrion wasn’t mentioned in the history of Westeros yet his capture started the war, he was hand of the King to Joffery/Danaerys/Bran, and he killed the Lord of Casterly Rock(Tywin).
    Jaime‘s character arc was destroyed. The way Euron shot down a dragon was nearly impossible and 3/3 bolts hit their target.
    The dialogue was crap all season. Arya: “I know abkippet when I see one.” As if Danaerys didn’t just burn down an entire city. Tyrion could only make eunuch jokes..
    The last two seasons were awful.

      Mason Boehm disagree, so what the hell you want ? Your like everyone else crying about this cause you were scared that you knew no book was finally finished to end this series on tv, going in you knew that and freaked out. Just my opinion but it's not as horrible as you think it is . Now episode 6 was good at the dragon leaving , And that should of ended it. Jons lineage was fucked, only thing I agree on. Oh well it's over now.

    The last 3 episodes were trash. Dee and Dumb did an awful job with Season 8..They ruined for me what would have gone down easily as the GOAT show. They could have easily even made sense with the ending by simply having a Trial by Combat. Jon win and he saying I want no part of the Throne, turn to Tyrion, Sam, Sansa, Bran--you decide. Suddenly it makes sense.. Dee and Dumb should give all their money back from S8--it was total incompetence.

    Re Sansa, the writers realized they killed off the two biggest female characters, so they gave another big female character a token crown even though her brother is the king of the whole thing. See, they had to tick the gender diversity checkbox at the end of the show
